LOVE this stuff! I am doing a ketogenic diet, and most recipes call for Swerve sweetener. I can't get past the cool feeling in my mouth after eating Swerve, but I found this stuff and it's a game changer. To me, it tastes more like real sugar, and you have to use much less than Swerve, plus there's no "cooling" aftertaste with this as there is with Swerve. I now can bake and sometimes my family doesn't even notice it's low carb/no sugar. My 2 year old even likes a lot of my baking. I'm buying more!
It doesn't affect blood glucose levels. This is the one product that my palate can't tell the difference from normal sugars. It looks and pours like granulated sugar. It has a pleasant vanilla like scent. My experience is the amount I use is equivalent to table sugar for sweetening.
It just seems to hit my palate in the same way table sugar does without any bitterness, sharp sweetness, or lingering thin, sweet after taste on the roof of my mouth like other substitutes.
Note: I have edited this to include the following additional information.
My experience with Stevia sweeteners is there seems to be a short, intense sweetness that is different than what I would expect as an equivalent sweetness profile to sugar. I am not saying it is a bad thing. But it does take away from enjoying the food when I am distracted by the different sweetness profile. (I have tried the Pyure liquid squirt product for convenience and it works OK in my coffee at work. But still a bit sharp and different than I like. The ingredients show basically water and Stevia. No Erythritol listed.)
It seems like this granular Stevia and Erythritol blend does a great job of balancing the "sharp" sweetness of Stevia which is appprox 350x as sweet as sugar with the "dull" sweetness of Erythritol which is said to be about 70% as sweet as sugar.
I seriously can't tell the difference between this sugar substitute and regular sugar.
I purchase this based on reviews and price per lb. I love splenda but can be expensive. Tried raw sugar and splenda but try not to feed candida with sugar. I'm in the deciding stage on whether this is suitable to my taste buds. Not sure if this combination is a good one. From tasting leaves a little bitterness on back end. I'll try it for a few days and see what I think and update this review.
Update 6/25. I have put it in my tea and coffee and it (to my surprise) has a very pleasant taste. No bitterness or aftertaste. I enjoy this blend a little better than just Splenda. Definetly better than raw sugar and splenda(no feeding the candida)!! Highly recommend.
Update 10-17. Quality has remained consistent since my first purchase.
02/15/18- price has risen $1 per bag but it's still a bargain compared to the top offs in the chain markets. Since I no longer use sugar I have been able to lower the amount of this product as I have become more sensitive to sweeteners. Still my favorite out there!!
Since starting a ketogenic lifestyle and transitioning to LCHF I have tried many a sweetening alternative. To date, Pyure is the best by far! It's the most natural in flavor and there is no aftertaste. It dissovles easily and works for many drinks and food items alike! I will continue to purchase, and perhaps even subscribe.
I ordered this because it was supposed to not Have the same cooling aftertaste that Swerve has.... well, it does.
But for the price, I'm going to start ordering this instead of ridiculously overpriced Swerve! Keto for life!

Organic Erythritol is a non-nutritive sugar alcohol that is known for its sweetness and digestibility. Pyure is granulated so that it has the same consistency and ease of use as sugar, but with a zero-glycemic index and none of the calories. From sweetening your morning coffee to baking your favorite treats, this stuff is a cult favorite and a kitchen must-have.
I've tried every type of stevia out there and this is the ONLY one I will use. It is completely different. It is not powdery like the others. You need half as much as it has a heavy consistency like sugar does. And it tastes SO MUCH BETTER than any of the other ones. I'm so glad amazon has this stocked on Subscribe & Save which made it easier to ensure I always have it on hand.
I tried different zero calorie zero carb sweeteners, tried Stevia by itself (do not like the after taste) and Erythritol by itself (has a strange taste of xylitol gum with this light sensation on your tongue - hard to describe, and not as sweet), this product is a blend of both and tastes just like sugar w/o any weird after taste, smells very pleasant and because of Stevia is a good amount of sweetness. Use it for anything - coffee, baking, making your own chocolate, substitute same amount of this as erythritol in recipes. My friends who do not do zero carb/sugar cannot taste the difference and ask surprised "Is it with NO sugar???". Will stock up!
I bought this to cut down my sugar intake. So far, I like it much better than Splenda. There is no weird or bitter aftertaste. I like the resealable bag, as well as the instructions on the back. Normally, I add three spoons to my coffee or tea to make it as sweet as I would like. So, I used 1.5 spoons. The result was so sweet that I couldn't finish my coffee. I'm going to try half a teaspoon next time and work my way up from there.
Update 6/21/17:
I've been using the Pyure Stevia for almost 5 months for my hot and iced coffee, plus my cold-brewed iced tea. I typically use 1/2 a teaspoon or less with every cup or glass. That's plenty. Not only does it sweeten my drinks, but I noticed that it enhances the flavors of my loose-leafed iced tea.
I've been using so little that I'm still working through the original bag that I bought back in late January. I'm going to wait and see how long it takes me to go through an entire bag before I decide whether or not I commit to a subscription. This bag may very well last until December, in which case this is the cheapest sugar substitute I have ever bought. Highly recommended.
I love this stuff. I'm on Keto and therefore gave up sugar. This has saved the day. I use it in my coffee and tea with no bitter aftertaste that some others experience. I was pre diabetic a year ago and now I'm not because I replaced this with sugar. My health is improving more and more every day since giving up sugar and going keto. I couldn't be more pleased with my choice to take back my health.
I've tried several types and brands of natural sweetners and this one is, by far, my favorite. It takes much better than anything else I've tried. A little bit goes a long way. It's quite a bit stronger than sugar so; be careful. Also, I sometimes mix some xylitol with it when I want a more gentle sweetner. It's working quite well for me in my coffee and many recipes.
