Love this case. There was a slight modification I made to it so that the game holders do not fall out when the Switch not in the case. I did this so I do not accidentally and unknowingly loose my investments sometime down the road when I have more games.
I simply used a piece of elastic (use lighter to melt ends to keep from fraying) and a few dabs of super glue to keep the game holders in place. Super glue was applied to the 2 ends as well as the center with the elastic slightly stretched. It holds the game holders while case is upside down. I usually do not write reviews, but wanted to share this idea with the community in hopes that it helps someone!
Case is sturdy and seems durable. The zipper is kind of flimsy, so I'm sure that will be the first part to go. Holds the switch with attached joy cons easily, and you can fit a cable in the top. The flap has a small pocket that they list as extra cartridge storage, and that's about all it can be used for, or maybe a wiping cloth and/or those straps for the cons. Underneath the console storage there are two plastic cases to hold 8 games total and 2 inserts that hold 2 micro SD cards in a game slot. There is also a small rectangular recess that I'm not sure what it's for and can't find any good use for. Maybe a small stylus.
Case outer material is sturdy; it will definitely protect the Switch in case of a drop on concrete. The Switch is held in place by the flap which also protects the display from scratches.
You can jam a USB-C cable inside but that's about it. It is impossible to jam an iPad 12 watt charger in there.
I was worried this would be a soft case with in being fabric, but it is surprisingly hard and unyielding to the touch. A perfect fit for a Switch owner looking to go on short trips with their console. There's not enough room for the dock of course, but the included pocket on the inside can fit a wound up USB C cable if you forego the Joycon attachments I think it is designed for. The game cases are a nice touch and I am sure add some extra protection for your Switch. Very pleased with this for the cost and quality.
Update: I was handing my friend my Switch in the case and he dropped it on to concrete, case didn't scuff and the Switch was fine.
This case has a lot of positives: The organization on the inside is top notch; a pocket to bring a charge cable, some hard cases to hold SD cards and games, and a Velcro strap to hold everything in place. The artwork on the front is nice. The zipper is pretty heavy duty, I don't foresee any problems with it fraying or coming apart.
The only negatives: When it arrived it had a weird, strong smell. I've sprayed it with febreeze twice and it's helped a bit, but it's still there. Luckily it's more of a stick-your-face-in to smell it kind of thing, rather than an odor you can't help but notice. The carrying handle has one issue that makes me nervous; it seems to stretch quite a bit when you're carry it, and I'm worried about its integrity because of this. However, I haven't had any actual problems with it yet, so that may be unfounded.
I have recommended this case to my other friends with a Switch (another had bought it before my recommendation), and would do so for others as well.

Description
Protect and organize your Nintendo Switch in this Officially Nintendo Licensed Deluxe Travel Case. RDS Industries has manufactured this case to Nintendo's stringent and high standards. This Nintendo Switch case has a durable hard-shell exterior that protects against accidental drops or knocks. A vacuum formed felt-lined interior holds the system and games securely in place. Most importantly, a padded divider pocket is put inside and is designed specifically to protect Switch's sensitive analog sticks. Two bonus multi-game cases are included that hold up to 8 games.
For your money, this case is an amazing value. Not only do you get a cool looking case (I chose the gray Sheikah design), it's also a well-made sturdy case.
— POCKET FLAP —
Open it up and you will find a thick pocket flap. You can put a USB-C charging cable in here, and the pocket is thick enough to double as a screen protection buffer for the Switch screen below it.
— GAME/MEMORY STORAGE —
Flip the pocket flap up and you will find two blue cases for four games each. Inside them are two microSD holders which take up a game cartridge space each. In total, you could have eight games stored, or six games and two microSD cards, or a combination of whatever you like.
Below that is a long horizontal slot. These are likely for portable headphones.
— SWITCH STORAGE —
The Switch fits like a glove in this. The inside is soft to protect it from scratches, and the outside is made of a durable rubber with a vague faux-leather texture. Once you zipper it up, it feels secure and will be safe against normal everyday wear like being tossed onto a bed, or a small drop to the ground. I personally don't worry about my Switch once it's in the case.
— SUMMARY —
This case is a great deal. It has beautiful designs, secure protection, and a compact size for on the go travels. Recommended.
This Case is exactly what i was looking for. I looked through all the different cases on amazon and i was unimpressed with them. This one had all the features i wanted:
-Can store the switch with Joycons attached
-Has a Velcro Latch to hold the switch in place(bonus this latches to a soft covering pocket which adds extra screen protection.)
-Has Grooves for the trigger buttons so they are not pressed down when not in use. (also has enough space that none of the top joycon buttons will be pressed either.
-Plain Design (so many have zelda stuff on it and i just dont like the art styles they have chosen)
-Slim Design.
As a bonus it comes with little cases to store games and sd cards that tuck away nicely under the switch (although i do wish they clipped in in some way because they easily fall out if you put the case upside down without the switch in it.)
The case seems to be manufactured well, and should hold up for the life of the Switch. I feel confident that when i throw this in my backpack it will keep the switch safe and protected. All in all I am very happy with this case.
I am a Supervisor at my job and a couple days a week that consist of pretty much nothing, so i pack my Switch up in this amazing small case that fits everything you'd need to game for a day. It wont hold the charger but i can make due with that. It does hold 7 or 8 games (or more if you're ok with them being loose) and a memory card. The space is large enough for the Switch with the joy-cons attached. I have dropped my Switch while in this case and not a scratch, dent or anything. Now that doesn't mean just start throwing your Switch around or anything but it should be ok from an incidental drop. I leave my Switch in this case at all times unless i am charging it or play it. The Apartments i live in they have their own Laundry house on property and ill carry this with me while i do laundry and sometimes play a game of Mario Kart or Mario Party with a random person that lives in the same apartments. great for enjoying boring life task
The build quality of this case is quite nice. It definitely seems durable and long lasting. It also has a nice look, to complement the looks of the Switch. Between the soft/mid hardness case, and the padding inside, it feels like it would do a good job protecting the Switch during travel.
For negatives, it does have a funky smell, same as other people reported. Also, the game holders that fit underneath the Switch fall out easily. There is literally nothing to hold them in place. If I were on a cramped, dark airplane for example, I could easily see dropping the game holder and losing them. Also, the case overall seems a little big, but without being able to hold much other than the Switch itself.
This is a great case for the switch and the Anker 26800 PD charger. I bought this case day one when the switch came out, used it for everyday since yesterday. Its the best case ever. I was looking for a case for my power bank I didn't like what is being sold for it so I stuck my bank in this and decided to buy a second one. I put the switch in the brand new one. and destroyed the inside bottom of the old one. Took a knife and scissors to take out the whole bottom of the case, and then went to lows bought some felt. plus a Nite Ize neon yellow key ring holder. took a small hand screw driver put 2 small holes on the top of the case by the top zipper of the lid and stuck the wire through it, and took 2 monoprice cable ties and I think it came out great.
Anker Power Core+ 26800 PD with 27W PD Portable Charger Bundle for Nintendo Switch & USB Type-C Laptops (e.g. 2016 MacBook) Power Delivery Support
This is my 2nd of these plus I bought the big system one as well love all of them.
