I bought a "large" monitor about 10 years ago. It was a KDS2600w (26" LCD). It was awesome and it still works perfectly.
This monitor is a HUGE improvement over the KDS. It is not much larger but gosh darn, monitor quality has improved greatly during the past 10 years.
Everything is beautiful. Photos, videos, and, games all look amazing. Granted, I updated my graphics card also but dang. It's like I went from 2008 to 2018. Which did actually happen.
The gloss screen is the only reason I gave this a 4 star. I generally use my computer at night so it is not a big issue. It is an issue during daytime use. You could use this monitor as a mirror. There is a market of products to make a gloss screen matte. Products are available but they are expensive.
OH! Also, this larger monitor uses less than half the power of my old monitor!
Overall im happy with my purchase. Image quality was good, No regrets.
Two things i didnt like...
As others have mentioned the screen is very shiny, and could be an issue in certain circumstances.
The other is that it has a large power plug that takes up multiple valuable plug spaces.
PIXEL PERFECT !!! Great replacement monitor for the workstation. Uses about 30 watts, which is less than that of the 22 inch, lower resolution LED monitor it replaced. The "glass" is non-glare, but smooth, unlike many of the matte types. Very nice. It was delivered two days after the afternoon order was placed, and that was standard/free shipping! I'm happy.

My daughter manages the childbirth and neonatal education programs at a major hospital, and was frustrated going back and forth between several applications which she needs open to manage her workload, and before Christmas was asking about multiple monitors. I did some research and in spite of the negative reviews with respect to resolution, gave her this monitor for Christmas as it appeared designed to simultaneously display multiple applications. A few days ago she sent me this text: "My screen is working so well! I am soooo happy!"
I set this up for her late on Christmas day, so I got to see it first hand. The resolution on this monitor appeared to me to be identical to the resolution of her Dell laptop, and the resolution on the LG monitor was perfectly fine for running email, a calendar app, and other apps. I do not understand the issues others have raised about this monitor's resolution, but we are not using it to run hi-res movies. If you need more monitor real estate to run multiple apps simultaneously with the same resolution you would get on a laptop, this is a great solution.
The only negative is that the set-up instructions are so minimal they are worthless. Setting the monitor up was pretty obvious but getting it to work with the pc was a bit of a challange, but several Google searches later I found the solution: hold down the Windows key and (and I aplogize but I don't remember which other key, but it was a letter) a letter key, and it brings up a menu so you can select how you want the monitor to display from the pc.
This display is an incredible value. Color and clarity are excellent, port diversity a nice plus. I’m using it a second display from a MacBook Pro via a mini display to HDMI cable and it performs flawlessly. I’m a bit spoiled by the 5k display on my iMac, but the 1080 picture on here does look really good. Easy to view at any angle. The reader mode is a nice add on but pretty unnecessary as you can control those things from your computer with much more precision. The aesthetic is great, no visible buttons, very simple and clean look. The 32” size is working out great for all of the mixing controls etc in Logic Pro. My only complaint is the base is non adjustable and a little flimsy, but at this price point you could purchase a better base or a wall mount and still be in a great spot budget wise.

Clean, crisp picture at a very affordable price. Before this I was using a 32 inch Samsung television connected to my PC with a HDMI cable. When using the HDTV text and colors looked off it was at 1920x1080 but cleared up considerably at a lower resolution (1600x900); this monitor looks GREAT at 1920x1080!
I am using this on a Ubuntu Linux machine with onboard video connected using display port. I am not a gamer so I dont know how it would do with a powerful video card that pushed high frame rates but it does great for web surfing/desktop publishing/streaming HD videos. I didnt even put the software/driver disc in so I cant comment on the advanced "split screen" features.
The adapter that connects the monitor to the base could be made a little better, it shakes a little and the monitor is a little wobbly. It also uses an oddly shaped wall wart for power, there should be enough room in the bottom of the case to put the power supply inside and use a regular power cable but they didnt take that route. The power adapter is so large it will easily block at least one if not two outlets on a standard power strip. Those two issues are the only reason I did not give 5 stars.
Great monitor. Great picture. True to the color. HDMI cable is included. This version of the monitor was released in August of 2017. This turned out better than I expected for the price. I recommend it. I am using it for office and will mostly use it for text. I was concerned about a big screen with only 1080P resolution for the text-oriented work that I do. However, it is just fine. The screen-split was a seller for me since I plan to do a lot of cutting and pasting between different applications. However, I learned that you cannot use the split-screen function in the Mirror Mode (for displays). To me, it doesn't make sense. I do not plan on looking at my 14" laptop and have an extended 32" monitor. I want them to mirror and to only use the 32" monitor. The screen is large enough that you can position your applications side-by-side, so who needs split-screen? Overall, I am happy with this purchase.
Awesome quality. I had been looking for an IPS moitor for 3 week straight and none of them fully fill my requirements. I am an IT student so I spend a lot of time looking at my monitors. I need an IPS panel for better view angle and vesa ready for portrait mode when I need to code. I occasionally play game ( PUBG) so I want a monitor with Flicker-free feature and AMD freesync. I've through literally a hundred of different monitors and none of them fit my needs. This one totally satisfies all my requirements and has a sleek appearance with very thin bezel. There were barely any reviews and I took a gamble buying two of these. Best decision ever!!!!!
Awesome! I bought two of these. I dont have the glare issues that others have stated but i keep my office with dim light. Resolution is absolutely fine for me. Use all Microsoft office with no problems reading font. I absolutely love the Screen Split software! If I am looking at web pages, I split portrait but if i want to look at spreadsheets i can, with one click switch to split landscapes and it auto sizes. Drag and drop an application and it auto sizes. You have so many settings including quad screens. I played with it but realized i like each monitor on Split portrait. Outlook Email and calendar on one monitor and my web analytic and a spreadsheet on the other!
Best 32 inch Monitor for the price. Love the colour reproduction, however it's not a 4k screen. Keep in mind it's not the biggest resolution screen. That took some time getting used to for sure. I've got mine set up on a floating monitor mount with the Vesa 200m*100m Vesa mount and Vivo single LCD monitor mount. Great combo!
