In order to make it easy to move my Wii from my living room into the basement I bought a second power supply and this motion sensor bar so they are permanently ready to go and I only have to unplug the Wii itself from being hooked up in the living room and hook it up downstairs. This motion bar works exactly like the original so there's no change in game play. A great and very affordable sensor bar for the Wii!
If I didn't know this wasn't from Nintendo, I would think it was... it was identical to our original sensor bar. We'd discovered by using the front-facing camera on one of our iPhones that the LED sensors on one side of our original bar weren't working (a great tip if you're not sure if the problem is your controller or the sensor bar!) In any case, we're now able to enjoy our Wii again. Very pleased!
I got this to replace the sensor bar that originally came with my Wii. I figured I'd have some fussing to do with getting it synced or whatever. Nope, plugged it in, and everything worked fine.
Like I said, it does it's job. Sometimes that is just the best surprise.
The old one was destroyed with the vacuum. This sensor bar somes with an adhesive holder which makes it great and stays in place. We still have to have this placed lower for the kids for the sensor to work and it is amazing and way better than the old one. Will definitely buy again if we need another one.
I bought this product as I found my brothers old Wii that had been sitting in the garage for years. However, in order to play it I needed to buy the sensor bar. Initially I had not read that this is not a Nintendo original sensor bar. However, this bar is Simply Amazing! It detects motion very easily and I have not had any problems with it. I highly recommend it to anyone out there who is looking for a sensor bar for your Wii. In addition, the product is not only amazing but the pricing was the icing on the cake. I had a Wii when it first came out and attached it to my TV. I needed a replacement since we no longer had the TV from when I originally bought the Wii. I bought this and it it works just like the old one. No glitches and no difficulty in detecting the controller. It is easy to plug into the back of the Wii. comes with a sensor stand so you can mount it if you want.
I bought this for our Wii a couple months ago. We have not had a single problem from this sensor. I don't foresee it breaking or not working. It appears to be identical to the original sensor that came with the Wii game. The plug wire is long and thin just like the original and the I like it !
Worked great! I bought this new sensor to replace the original one that came with the Wii because my mischievous cats broke it :') this one is great if not better. I say this because I always felt like the original one was flimsy although mine withstood a lot before it met its demise. It was constantly falling and it was even missing a lens! I thought it'd never break but this new one is thicker and feels a bit heavier than the original which I like because it feels more durable (fingers crossed). It also brought a cute little stand that you can stick to any surface! Love this replacement. Great price. Definitely recommend.
i tried a battery sensor and the batteries didn''t last long and were needing replaced to often.i bought the kimilar wired infrared ir motion sensor and i love it.it comes wired so no need for batteries.don't have to worry about playing a game and batteries dying ever again.if you have a wii or wiiu i would highly reccomend getting this.very satisfied.
