So I didn't take any pictures of these, but I felt like I NEEDED to leave a review for them.
First, the flavors:
The first one I tried was the Ginger Turmeric flavor. The flavor was nice (I couldn't taste the turmeric at all but it was a very gingery cookie). With cream cheese (plain or mashed up with some berries) they were very nice.
The Peanut Butter ones were next, and they are just Ok. They had an almost burnt flavor, which I enjoyed, but it is quite strong and the people I shared them with didn't seem to enjoy it much. I tried them with cream cheese, with peanut butter, cashew butter and with coconut manna (it's like peanut butter made of JUST coconut meat instead, it's pretty amazing on it's own and made the cookies a lot better, imo).
The Chocolate Chip ones were pretty amazing though. There aren't many chips, and they aren't too sweet (which can be an issue with low carb/sugar free baked things), and I didn't need to add anything to them to eat them. I did try them with a bit of peanut butter and with some chocolate Halo Top, they will be ordered again. And again. I might even eat these when I'm not doing Keto.
The reasons I left off a star:
The first 2 packs I had were almost unpleasantly damp. One each of the Ginger and Chocolate Chip. They were a step past "most" and verging into "wet" territory. They were very crumbly and almost gummy. I let them sit for a day or two (still in the wrappers, in a cabinet in the kitchen) and tried them again and they seemed to 'dry up' a little and were fine. Very weird, but not enough to stop me from buying them again.
Secondly and imo most importantly as well, the nutritional info is for ONE COOKIE. Each small pack contains 2 cookies, and there is no way to reclose them package after opening it. They also show several ways to enjoy them on the box/packaging, and most of them show 2 cookies (there's 2 with peanut butter in the middle and 2 with ice cream in the middle). Also, the packaging/company logo shows both a coconut and an avocado, but there is no avocado oil/anything in the cookies. The only avocado I can find anywhere for them seems to be in the smoothies they use in promotional photos. Maybe I missed it somewhere, but it seems a bit misleading (making people think there is both coconut and avocado in the cookies when there is not), so these two issues each lost half a star.
Neither of these issues has stopped me from buying them. Each cookie is 1 net carb, so even if you DO eat both it's 2 net carbs and between 180 (for two chocolate chip cookies) and 220 (for 2 of both of the other flavors), I just wish the packaging actually had the 'serving size' as 2 cookies.
A great snack for cookie lovers who are keto! By no means is this like a cookie made with brown sugar and refined what flour, and considering the fact that I’m keto for life, it shouldn’t matter. Upon the first taste, I noticed the cakey texture of the cookie and immediately missed the more familiar texture of the Tollhouse cookies I used to eat. Then, I realized that Fat Snax are not meant to imitate the traditionally-made cookiesñ so, if you’re looking for that you’ll be disappointed. Instead, these are cookies that are meant for people who are dedicated to a low carb-high fat diet, a lifestyle that has few diet-appropiate sweet snacks. Adjusting your expectations, you will appreciate these cookies, made with all-natural ingredients and no sugar. I have found my new favorite cookies that fit into my LCHF lifestyle! Additionally, finding a cute thank you note from the founder is also very nice.
Good cookie for convenience but I have a recipe that taste almost exactly like this for less carbs and not as expensive. They are small for 2 carbs a piece. But they are good.
Just got my fatsnax assorted cookies today and I have already tried the chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies. not too sweetwhich is perfect, but moist and very satisfying. I am going to have to hide these from myself!! These are a must have I will definitely be buying more!! Look at my face! I AM SO HAPPY😁😁😁
I bought the variety pack. They are all good but the ginger-turmeric blew my mind! Surprisingly I liked the peanut butter better than the chocolate chip. I am a bit confused by the packaging? There are two cookies in each pack but a serving is one cookie. They are nicely packaged and shipped beautifully. I am diabetic and they had no effect on my sugar at all! Very nice surprise. I think they are a good value too. I hate to spend all that time rounding up all these sugar free ingredients and trying to figure out how big to make them, so they’re a time saver too. I suggest you buy multiple boxes and keep in the freezer. That’s my plan!!!😋

Take my money, Fat Snax! Seriously. I was not prepared for these to be so good. Especially the Ginger Tumeric. I like my ginger cookies with some "bite" and Fat Snax did not disappoint.
Oh and they included the new Matcha Green Tea as a sample with my variety box. I took one long sip and signed up for monthly delivery.
Many Keto snacks LOOK good, resemble the yummy version of a snack - but then you bite into it and wonder how on earth the person got the treat to look so good, but taste so opposite of good. Fat Snax - good, like enjoyable good. Not out of the oven warm Nestle Toll House Cookie good BUT, when you get your taste buds hooked into Paleo and/or Keto - the Nestle Toll House Cookie would probably send you into a sugar induced coma; which then makes Fat Snax cookie the new best snack that will leave you feeling satisfied with the right amount of treat!
I ordered the 6 pack and wish I'd ordered more. These are the only pre-made cookies that I've found so far that I like. Sometimes I sprinkle a tad bit of salt on them to really pump up the flavor and accentuate the sweetness - to each their own taste. I never can eat just one cookie. I stop myself at one package, though. They are chewy. They crumble a bit but only if you're man-handling the cookies. Each cookie is about 2.75" in diameter. The peanut butter flavor is pleasant. They are not too sweet. I think they are a tad overpriced, which is the only reason I've given them 4 starts instead of 5. I can't purchase them as often as I'd like. Although, maybe that's a good thing or else I'd eat too many too often.
Don't man-handle the cookies.
I've found the best low carb & keto baked goods are those that are home made. However, I'm not a suzy homemaker and just don't have it in me to make baked goods weekly. These are a good treat to have around for those who live a low carb or keto lifestyle but who also avoid all the nasties that can be found in the atkins and other low carb branded treats. They're gluten free, have nothing creepy in them (well, I suppose that's relative as everyone has a slightly different version of what's creepy) and taste pretty good. They're not overly sweet like many low carb treats (although the peanut butter version by this brand is a bit too sweet so I don't recommend those). The high fat content makes them sort of melt in your mouth.
Now, if you're a newbie to low-carb and keto you'll likely hate these - go try the more sweet versions of things first till you get over the hump and have "de-sugared" your taste buds. These are yummy for long term low carbers and keto folks who's taste buds are more sensitive to sweet and therefore don't need as much sweetness. (In my opinion, of course...everyone is different).
These cookies are amazing. So let me set something straight -- if you just went on the keto diet and your taste buds and body are still used to SUGAR, you probably will not like these along with any other type of Keto snack as sugar is not allowed. Any negative review that has been left here most likely has been left by new folks on the diet. After a while you get used to the lack of sugar and how things taste. And actually, I once did a cheat day on my diet and had a piece of real cheesecake and it was too rich and sugary, I couldn't finish it.
With that all being said -- these cookies ROCK. They are the perfect blend of soft chewy cookie with chocolate chips mixed in. I need my "snack" item every day as I have a sweet tooth. These hit the spot just like they should. They are a bit pricey, I wish they would be more affordable but I'm sold on them and will continue to buy them.
Give them a try, I don't think you'll be disappointed! This is my all time favorite Keto approved snack! 5 stars!
