Please Note " if you use these or any other batteries where the are stored in a unheated garage. Change the batteries every 12-18 months. Other wise you will find a pile of goo inside your flashlight.
I have been using Energizers since they were firs introduced many years ago. I bought a new set of these batteries in 2016 and they are still working just fine in my camping lantern which I use only for emergencies. I just bought another set of these "D" batteries in July of 2017. The batteries have an expiration date of 12-2027 which is more than 10 years in the future!! I hope they last that long. I expect that they will lose some of their power after a while. But, I also have the peace of mind that I have extra batteries around the house.
Purchased this to replace my kitchen trash can that had the foot pedal type opener. It broke a while ago, and the can is many years old. I've been looking for a while, and after reading the reviews on the iTouchless trash can, and the fact that it was on sale, decided to buy it. It was well packaged, easy to assemble, and works great!! Very happy with my purchase. It's in a high traffic area, but the sensor doesn't detect unless you are standing right by the can. Perfect! I've always had success with long life of Energizer batteries. Bought some others a while ago that claimed to outlive Energizer. Not so!

I’ve come to realize that you can’t buy everything on Amazon. For whatever reason, I’ve noticed that batteries from brick and mortar stores last longer.
Hopefully the Energizer bunny prevails over the knock off brand batteries that I used to have in my air mattress pump which corroded all the time leaving me on the ground while traveling.
What can I say. Batteries are batteries. Issue was I ordered for Hurricane Harvey and didn't get till 2 wks later due to storm.
I bought these batteries a year ago. I use D cells in my lantern. I installed them a week ago after light was starting to fade. Work great with no problem. I just ordered more for emergency use.
