Perfect and everything I could have asked for. I have a 2000sf ranch and my modem is on one end. I have had difficulty getting signals in areas of the house and it's been frustrating. We had some service done on our cable/internet equipment last month and I told the tech about my issues. He recommended getting a Wi-Fi extender. I perused Amazon looking for what I needed...Not even really sure what that was because there seem to be a lot ofi options available. I picked this unit based on price, description, and reviews. It seemed to do what I needed at an affordable price and there wasn't a lot of bad stuff being said.
Once I got it,I plugged it in and followed the directions. After about 10 minutes it was up and running. I now have full bars and good service in all parts of my house. It was a quick and effective fix to my issue.
One note... this does create a new internet connection that you have to log into. It doesn't just extend your connection. The original Wi-Fi is picked up by this device and transmitted as a new connection with a separate log in. I've have read some complaints that you have to log out of your normal connection and log into the extended connection when you're out of range. I have avoided this issue by simply never logging out of the extended connection. It works whether you're close or far from the device, so went even bother disconnecting? If there is a downside to doing this I just don't know about it. There are two separate log ons listed under available connections, but that hardly seems like a problem.
Anyway, good product to solve the issue of a weak signal in a residential setting.
Super simple setup with our WPA2-personal wifi network on our router:
1) Plug extender in to an outlet and wait 15 seconds (follow the instructions on Mannual)
2) Push connect button on router.
3) Push connect button on extender for 5～6 seconds.
4) Connect to the new network (YourRouterName_EXT) with your computer/device - can be done wirelessly, or using the ethernet port - using the same password as your original network... annnnd, DONE!
It took less than 5 minutes to get up and running. Now we are getting a nice, strong 5 bar signal on our laptops, whereas before we were lucky to get 3 due to multiple walls and concrete between our bedroom and the router.
So far (24 hours) we have not had any signal drops or issues whatsoever. Works like a charm! I will update if anything comes up down the road with it, but for now I'm a super satisfied customer.
I decided to give this a try due to the low cost and wanting to upgrade from my Netgear router I have had for 5 years and Xfinity as my internet provider. Set up could not have been easier, you just follow the quick set up instructions and you are good to go. I have been wanting to try 5GHz for some time anyway, after set up on my computer I then set up Wifi to my Roku and phone. I have the Blast package from Comcast and my speed test have been around 25-50 mbps depending on how many were streaming, I took a reading from my laptop and it was 90-95 mbps, my phone was hitting 58-65 mbps and that is wifi speed. Now I have noticed every once in a while I have to refresh my phone especially after leaving the house then returning because sometimes I could not get on line until I refreshed it which is just a small annoyance and probably something I could tweak on my end. Other than that, streaming has been awesome whether it is Youtube, gaming or watching a sporting event with no lagging. At this price you can't go wrong.
My internet service provider package speed was 60 mps, the old netgear N600 was good but I think it time was up as it kept going in and out and only receiving 38 mps at the worst spot in the house,after switching it out with this router we are now getting 59 mps in that same spot.Do far so good.

I used this router to replace an ooooold 11G router. Let me tell you, the difference is night and day, even to my older devices that only use the B side of the network. The router was easy setup and amazing. I have already recommended it to a few friends. Just buy it.

I purchased one of these for my technology-challenged parents who have a rather large house and their wifi router upstairs. Lots of duct work, pipes, wiring, etc. between the router (in the FAR upper left corner of the house) and the devices in their kitchen, on the deck, in the garage, etc.
The extender was up and running in less than 2 minutes, WPS setup with their Netgear router could not have been easier. Wifi signal downstairs immediately doubled, or better. Devices that were registering Poor signal with 1-5MBps connections now show excellent and 65MBps+.
I highly recommend this device for anyone who has dead spots, routers upstairs or in the basement or anyone who just needs to extend their G/N wireless signal.

The coverage and the signal strength are much stronger than my original router. My room is in the further corner of my apartment, and I still got the strongest signal strength, as opposed to the weak signal provided by the previous router!
Good as WiFi gets folks, was having trouble w/cable internet and they recommended I upgrade my wifi and so glad they did, server still stinks but when wifi has a signal it's everything & more. Already recommended to several, now is ur chance to upgrade.
I got this router for a while. Its look appears to the eyes and is only one third of the size and weight of my old one. Looks so much better on the end table in my living room. The installation manual is clear and it is very easy to set up. The wifi signals have been very strong and stable. Very satisfied with the product with the price I paid. Will definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a router with nice look, good quality and price.
This wifi extender is replacing a cheaper unit with the hope of improving range and connectivity. It certainly did that and added a second WAN ethernet port. The signal strength LEDs are reassuring and useful. I went with the WPS setup route and it worked without a hitch. I can add the advice that you may need to hold the WPS button on your cable router longer than instructed. That was the situation in my experience. I won't comment on using the web browser setup process as it was not needed in my application. Only one complaint is the extender dominates a twin outlet because it is just large enough to prohibit using the other receptacle. The price is more than fair and appearance / function is above average. Great value!
