Ok so I live a keto lifestyle. I've had probably every "keto" snack on the market. I know what to expect and I am reasonable with my expectations, it is no sugar after all. That being said. This is amazing. Every now and again I get a strong chocolate craving and 95% cocoa isn't cutting it. I was very impressed and almost suspicious about how good this tastes. Now I've been keto for a long while so maybe I'm forgetting what real chocolate tastes like but this tasted no different to me. I was worried I had made a mistake and that I would go right out of ketosis....nope...tests show I'm still right where I want to be. I had my husband try it and hes one of those guys that hate "diet food" you know the type, and he loved them. I do not leave reviews ever, I was just so excited about these I had to review for other keto followers.
New to a Ketogenic diet here and had been missing a little bit of chocolate, you know, for those times when you just need an indulgent bite! These are better than I even imagined! Obviously less sweet than regular old chocolate but I didn't even care after following keto for a month and a half, I've found there is a natural sweetness in many things you don't realize. These will be perfect for dropping into a cup of coffee to make it mocha, or just a sweet treat that you need!
Even better the company sent me an email when they were delivered by USPS letting me know to go get them. It has been in the solid 80's to low 90's where I live so that was extremely thoughtful of them to tell me so I could get them before they melted. PLUS, they had put three ice packs inside with them so when I opened one thinking, I'm an idiot for ordering chocolate during the summer, NONE of them had melted and are perfect!! I will absolutely order these again and have already begun to share with all my keto friends!
This is the best sugar free chocolate I've ever had. It's also one of the best chocolates I've ever had: sugar free and regular. I order it every two weeks and I have talked to the CZ founders through support e-mails before. I love this company so much because they truly GET sugar free lifestyles!
The thing about sugar free chocolate is it either has bad sugar substitutes or tastes weird. Things like Atkins or Russell Stovers use maltitol, which causes digestive issues and has a G.I. of ~30 (sugar only has one of 40-50). Ideally, you'd want a substitute to be significantly less without much taste issues. The only SF chocolate I've liked before this has been Lily's Chocolates. They have a 0 GI, unlike Atkins' 30. Lily's are good, great for baking, but the sweetener they use causes a slight cooling aftertaste. It's still good, 70-80% of what a real sugar chocolate treat tastes like, but not quite as satisfying.
Lily's was, as far as I was concerned, as good as it got. And it was pretty good.
Enter ChocZero. Monkfruit doesn't have that cooling effect and it's truly delicious. It's not 80% as good. It's not 90% as good like maltitol candies (Atkins, RS, Hershey's) are either. It's 100% as good as regular chocolate.
It's that good. Even crazier, the GI of Monk Fruit is 0. It sounds too good to be true and I genuinely would think it were, had I not been through buying all the substitutes myself and taste testing them all. I love to eat them with berries and peanut butter especially. TRY IT!
Update 5/30: I've had it many times since and still love it. I feel like some reviews are people who expect sugar free chocolate to be identical to none. I've lost over 100lbs on keto and this chocolate is the best solution I've found thus far.
This is my second time purchasing this product, and I felt compelled to rave about it! As someone following a keto diet, it's critical for me to find a chocolate that not only adheres to my dietary guidelines but also tastes amazing as well -- and this product meets both these requirements! I do wish that they'd bring back the multipack with one bag of milk chocolate, and the two different types of dark chocolates, but even if they don't, you can't go wrong with any of the flavors. Simply delicious! Thank you for making such a wonderful product!
I cannot begin to explain how good these are. I have tried every kind of sugar free chocolate. You know how you always try to convince yourself that they are good because you really just want a piece of chocolate? I buy multiple kinds just trying to cut that craving but honestly, I have never really loved any of them. UNTIL NOW
This is so, so good! There is no weird taste or after taste with these. They taste like milk chocolate made with sugar. Yes, they are expensive, but I don't want them to shove into my face all night. I want them to cut that craving or deprived feeling you get when you know you can't have a chocolate.
I'm really happy about this. Still very surprised, but very happy :D

The Story of ChocZero
As a small company focused on sugar free chocolate, we know from day one that our path is to work twice as hard to be as good. And we believe that when one door closes, another one opens... same with Sugar.
This milk chocolate tastes pretty nice. Only a faint sweetener aftertaste. The texture is very smooth and milky.
The only reason I'm unsure is because from a carb/nutrition/cost point of view, Dove dark chocolate has similar nutrition with much better cost. One square of this chocolate has one less gram of carb, one more gram of fiber (I think) and 5 more calories. Protein is similar. So if you are on a low carb diet, you are really not saving a whole lot of carbs by eating this, unless your body handles sugar alcohols and/or net carbs really well. So while this is good, I don't think the cost is necessarily worth it when I can just buy Dove dark chocolate, for even better flavor, less money, and very similar nutrition information.
Really delicious. Even better than the USD3.65/piece snooty artisan chocolate truffle I just bought from the mall today.
As a sugar-free chocolate, I can't believe that they are as good, if not better, than many of the regular chocolates we usually buy for regular consumption. I am a chocoholic and I bought these chocolates for my Dad who is a diabetic.
The owners of Choc-Zero sent me a request to review their product. But as I bought them for my Dad, I didn't know what they initially tasted like. So I bought another set just so I could do a review. Plus, I was curious because the reviews were good. Well, they really are that good. From a chocoholic standpoint, you're not even going to notice that these are specialty chocolates for people with glucose-sugar problems. Trust me, they're almost the real deal.
If I could give more than 5 stars I would. When I ordered these, I knew the weather would be hot and almost considered not placing the order, but I had ordered the dark chocolate products offered by Choc Zero before and really wanted to try these since I am a diabetic and wanted to 'cheat' a little bit w/o really harming myself. These were delivered on the HOTTEST day so far this year in Phoenix, AZ. 118 degrees. They came in a styrofoam box with two ice packs included. Granted, the ice packs were totally melted and the chocolates were soft, but come on, what more could have been done? I put the bags in the fridge for 20 minutes and am enjoying fantastic chocolate w/o the guilt. :) . TY TY I will be ordering these again, probably in the cooler months though. :)
I have been doing a Keto diet for about 8 months. I originally purchased the dark chocolate Keto bark with almonds. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it.....Its smooth, not bitter. The only thing I don't like is the price. I recently purchased this milk chocolate because we found out my 6 year old nephew is Type 1 diabetic. One of his favorite things to do when he visits in the summer is make Smores. I was hoping to use this milk chocolate for that. I gave him a piece to try today, and he did NOT like it. I tried it and I think its just fine!! I haven't tried making Smores with it yet, but I am sure it will be fine. My plan is to make a smore for him with it and see if he notices the difference lol. Again, my only complaint is the price. You get 30 SMALL squares for $15......so 50 cents for a piece of chocolate that is about half the size of a card from a standard deck of cards.
02/09/2019: How did the price more than double?! $35.99 for a 3-pack? That’s absolutely absurd!

UPDATE: So I purchased these again when I got the notification that they were back in stock. However, there’s something different about the flavor (kind of watered down, not as great as the batch I had the first time): it’s still the best low carb chocolate out there, and no aftertaste of their sugar substitution, but the texture is really waxy, and every packet I’ve opened has the chocolate squares chipped all over the edges (the same appearance that shaved chocolate has).
Overall, still my preference in the world of low carb chocolates, and still wholly superior to Lily’s. But there’s just something different about this recent batch.

I wish these weren’t sold out! They’re hands down the best milk chocolate I’ve ever had—and that’s including regular sugar ladened milk chocolate. Best of all, it’s soy free (which is a rarity in the world of low carb sweets)! I really hope they’re able to have these back in stock soon, because they’re so delicious, and I have a few recipes that I want to try out, but would only want to use these specific chocolates (because I know the flavor will be great with these).
