I had purchased this for my boyfriend as a birthday gift and I have never seen anyone be so happy ! He mounted it on his Polaris Scrambler 850 and it was a perfect fit. The sound quality is amazing . It is loud enough as to where he was able to listen to it while driving his four wheeler.

Due to the fact that most "Marine" radios are a total farce and a rip-off, and not worth the extra cost,
I decided to install an automotive unit on my boat, with the understanding that there had to be a waterproof cover, for it to survive.
The Boss Audio MRC5B fulfilled my needs and expectations and is an all around great unit, with the following advantages:
- Solid construction.
- Elegant, smoky look.
- Inner tabs easily removed with a utility knife.
- Comes with a neoprene gasket, but I preferred to use clear silicone.
Now to the only disadvantage:
- You can see every fingerprint on the cover!
Solid construction and the sound is in a word, "fantastic" and balanced from highs, mids, and lows. Hats off! I use it as my outdoor, portable, amplified system for my projector movie night(s). The lack of a star is for questioning the advertised amplification power, Its loud and clear, however it doesn't keep up with my Alpine car amp. That is based on my ears and not a measuring device. Just to re-iterate, the clarity and quality of sound is amazing!
i bought this for my husbands birthday. he loves listening to music, it is super loud (like he likes it). i wish that it would have also came with a regular cord for our power converter but we bought one and it works great. i would definantly recommend to friends and family.
Great product could have used some instructions, the website was supposed to have them. (maybe I goofed but I couldn't find them) but not a hard to figure out what went where. Overall very sturdy & seems watertight . My last marine stereo flooded in a storm & took out my electronics. It was improperly wired & not very waterproof as i found out. But this Boss housing seems very well made & thought out, so far I would recommend it!

Order for my 21 year old to put on his 4 wheeler for Christmas 2015. He loved it! He was tickled to realize you could change the speaker color. He says it works perfectly and has a serious Boom! I can confirm that to be true, as I always hear him coming!! Well made product!
Ordered this system after deciding not to try and rig up something myself, which would have actually costed about the same if not more, would not have looked as good, nor would it have performed or sounded as good. Ordered this item and received it FAST. installation was a breeze. I also decided to get this one BC it would be easy to move back and forth between my ATV and boat so I wouldn't have to have two different systems. I am completely satisfied with this item! It sounded much better than expected, is louder than I expected, and has plenty of bass to make everything sound full. My 4 wheeler honestly sounds much better than my truck now. The Bluetooth and in-line controls are also really great while mounted on my handlebars. You can leave your phone in your pocket and not have to worry about wires hanging everywhere. I wish i would have found this a long time ago. Buy one, you won't regret it. Can't say enough good about this Boss system.

Installed this on my motorcycle. The cover snaps closed and also stays open if needed. Easy to install. Have not tested, but seems to seal adequately.
Easy to connect, best part is that you can take it anywhere and sync anything Bluetooth to it. I loved playing my loud music in my Jeep!
