I was sending my son a care package at college and I seen these and for the price why not besides he could share with his friends. I thought he would get a kick out of them since he hasn't had them since being a kid. The first response he sent me was how good they were and they were gone the first day.
I've been eating animal crackers for many, many years and these taste exactly like animal crackers should taste like. And what they should taste like is what animal crackers tasted like when I was a kid. I suppose I should write a description of exactly what they taste like, but I would do a lousy job of it, so you'll just have to take my word for it.
I have tried other brands of animal crackers and Barnum's animals crackers can't be beat. They are the best. I used to buy the small boxes for my children when I went shopping so it is a trade mark in my family that has been carried on to their children. Can't keep a good cracker down.
I love Barnum's Animals! They have never changed through the years - still the same consistently delicious, high-quality cookies I ate when I was little. I love that these come in a resealable bag for freshness (even though I could probably eat most of them in one sitting; that's just how scrumptious they are). Always a great purchase!
We can obviously purchase this elsewhere, but we have been enjoying the ease of Prime, especially as the weather gets cooler. The price is comparable if you weigh in the cost of gas and distance, particularly if you live a ways out from town.

Animal crackers in my soup..........brought me back to my childhood, ate them and watched Shirley Temple and yes I sang along to all the songs.
Call me a stickler...but these poor animals look like tasty blobs. It's hard to even discern what animal type they are, thus goes much of the fun and guilt of eating them slowly (sorry, elephants for years of cracker consumer torture),
This is not to say they don't taste as remembered. Still addictive, nice and light, and a wonderful snack. Still, would be nice to know what member of animal kingdom whose snack life I'm limiting.

This is a good size for snacking on one of my favorite cookies! Guess we never get too old for Animal Crackers!
Well done Amazon the animals are not broken due to your superior packaging ! It’s amazing how these cookies are so detail orientated so that a young child can identify them .They taste good and are fun to eat and play with !
