Acer KA220HQ bi 22" (21.5” viewable) Full HD (1920 x 1080) TN Monitor (HDMI & VGA Port)

Acer KA220HQ bi 22

I got this monitor to replace an old TV screen I got from a family member to replace a Viewsonic monitor that had one of its capacitors blow out in the middle of a game. Right off the bat, it had everything I was LOOKING for, But not everything I would have wanted.
My old TV had some color issues that would mess with the picture. Some days the screen would be slightly amber, other days the screen would be a couple pixels off and there would be a black bar that squishes the screen. But there would always be this same issue. All of the colors were brighter. And white would bleed onto other colors, try looking at a white grid with black lines when the white bleeds over the back and stops you from seeing the grid. I'm a graphic designer, so this will not do!
Right out of the box, some assembly required, not that it's very much assembly, just snap the stand together and stick the computer on the stand. When I plugged this bad boy in, I noticed something that the instructions had glossed over, not even an audio out port. This caught me off guard when the instructions showed that there was an audio out port on the back of the monitor. Okay, as long as I get the picture, I can plug my consoles into the TV and put it somewhere else. Turning this monitor on, I noticed that the screen was really bright. So I did my best to correct the coloring. It's still a little bright but the colors shown are the colors shown. I can see what's supposed to be on the screen and I don't have the same issue. I'm even playing Monster Hunter World on this screen and it's doing well.

I bought two of these to go in my home office. Overall they're great monitors for the price, but I was a little underwhelmed by the picture quality. If your looking for some solid utility monitors, and not too concerned with the image itself, these monitors are perfect little work horses.

I bought this to replace one of my old monitors that died, but in my haste ordered the wrong size. A quick refund and purchases of the larger version (thanks Amazon) and I can say the picture quality is great. Sitting next to the still working old monitor shows me how bad the color is on that one, so now I need to get another so they are both as good.

Works great. Great price

I like the screen size for doing jigsaw puzzles. The screen is energy efficient, important these days. I would recommend this screen to my friends.

This kit did not cost much and didn’t expect much. But when I opened it I was amazed to see the quality of these tools! Instead of a subpar kit that that doesn’t get used it is the coolest little treasure trove for myself and my family!

This far surpasses our old monitor. Everything looks like its in hi definition . some apps do not cover full screen but that is not a big issue. We Love it.

Works perfectly. Only drawback is you can't adjust the height of the stand, but who cares?

I loved this monitor so much I bought a second for my work station. Perfect for work and light gaming!

Love this monitor great picture excellent price and easy to install. Great buy nothing bad to say.
