8mm & Super 8 Reels to Digital MovieMaker Film Sanner,Pro Film Digitizer Machine with 2.4" LCD, Black (Film 2 Digital Movie Maker&8mm Film Scanner) with 32 GB SD Card

8mm & Super 8 Reels to Digital MovieMaker Film Sanner,Pro Film Digitizer Machine with 2.4

I have only had this the Digitizer Machine for a few days, but so far it has exceeded my wildest dreams. I have a box of old family tapes that were made by my father more than 40 years ago and we were afraid we were going to lose them. Wee contacted one of those digitizing services but they quoted a price in the $1,000s! I'm not much of a tech buff, but I got my first few tries to work and can now surprise the rest of the family with some unexpected Christmas videos. Easy to use, excellent quality though I suppose I'll need some kind of editing software to clean up some of the aging. I'll try to update this post after I digitize the whole box of old films

Everything was exactly as advertised and expected.Instructions were clear.I used this device for about a year, I talk about between the cost of the machine and sending out my films ,and I am extremely happy that I choose to purchase this machine. I digitized about 300 film rolls----some are super 8 from the early 70's and some 8mm from the late 50's. I don't know about what resolution is possible from the pros but I set the machine to the highest level.it is very clear and you can look all details from the scanned result. Overall this film scanner is a tremendous value.

I was very pleased with the results. The customer service and support was extremely helpful when I hit a problem.
The menu is very easy to access and should you need to adjust your settings for each movie you digitise then this can be done easily. for the price the results are surprisingly good.
the item scans and directly saves digital movies into SD cards, and you also can connect to PC or Laptop to save the scanned video easily.
Overall the super 8mm scanner offers excellent results and is extremely good value for money.

I have digitized approximately 24 reels of old 8mm film, and they are really fantastic looking. I am looking forward to converting all of my parents' home videos from way back in the day, they should be delightfully surprised. As far as converting what I have done thus far, the default exposure settings have been optimal. Hopefully all of the films that I still have to do are just as simple.

Fantastic! So impressed with its Multi-language operation manual and very detailed product structure diagram for this scanner. A fully automated machine, Frame-by-Frame Digitizing for HD Conversion - Converts 8mm and Super 8 movies into MPEG-4 (MP4) digital movie files at 1080P/ 30 fps.Compatible with my Windows, it supports to transfer video to PC. Backup or save the scanned video easily.Playback the scanned video - View the movie after scanning with the built-in full color 2.4 inch LCD screen or directly project onto your television with the included video out TV cable. The enough storage space and fast frame rate provides you excellent scanning experience. Delicate design and fast delivery, I bet you will love it if you take it your first sight. Sharing so much, in a word, I love this one, and can’t wait to recommend this scanner! Thanks again!

I know my friend purchased similar device with $400 last year, now I purchase this one only under $300. I very happy with this device after test more than10 Super 8 movies. I can only recommend this device for this price, the image quality is very good, if desired, some optimizations can be made. I had used different manufacturers of the Super 8 films at that time, here you can clearly see the difference in quality, but you can see it on the screen too, here the device cannot work miracles. Ease of use and handling, after two movies that works smoothly. It takes time for the device to record a movie, but that's very clear, as each frame will take a picture. For me that is absolutely no problem, I put the part in the corner and come back after 1-2h. For me it came after a number of films to quit / whistle on the right wheel, which rewinds the film, but this was due to the Kunsstoffh체lse or slip clutch. Just finish some silicone syrup / silicone oil - (better not a normal lubricating oil, which might attack the plastic).

It works great right out of the box. I read some negative reviews which said some thing bad about operating guide so I was a little worried cause this gadget cost a few hundred bucks . But over all I'm very happy with my purchase. This machine has simple adjustments for framing and exposure. It is kinda slow, 30minutes for a three inch reel, it hasn't jammed or had any problems. The small viewing window lets you see what it is recording. If you have a lot of home movies it's much cheaper than paying a service to convert them. That would deliver superior results but you can only do so much with Super 8 film and this movie digitizer is really all you need.

My mother start taking 8mm home movies in the early 90s and, for 30 years, she documented many family milestones. Many years ago she had a ton of these reels converted to VHS, but the result was bad finally.I’ve desired to digitize these treasures ,Fortunately, I found this device with some searching. The reviews are pretty accurate. The converter is very easy to use , For the most part, I’m pleased with the scans. And the resulting files are better than the old VHS transfers through a mirrored box.Totally ,this is a great device that absolutely should be recommended.

I’ve only had this machine a few days but so far very pleased with the results. I have a backlog of super 8 films going back 30 years so wanted to archive them before they vanished.
I spent a couple of hours experimenting with the set-up – various resolutions, file formats, dust removal, colour correction. Absolutely delighted with the results, excellent colours, great detail and both highlight and shadow details retained- they looked just like the slides.

Since I own a lot of super 8 films, I decided to buy a scanner. I'm completely satisfied with the quality.I'm thrilled how simple the scan is and how good the quality of the images is. Much better than my old VHS copies !! Tip: For good quality you should always set to blurred / blurred, so no noise. Simple operation, the result is impressive. Now you can also include various effects such as speed, sound, fades etc. Clear Buy recommendation.

The movie maker film scanner works great. I have had a lot of success with converting at least 50 year old 8 mm film to digital. I am glad I spent the extra money on this scanner because it can take larger reels. I use a old projector to rewind the film rather than turning it around on the scanner because it doesn't have a reverse. If it had it a revers of its own it would be much better. For the money it is a great value and I would recommend it to anyone. My family is going nuts over the old films that I send to them on the internet and now they are safe forever.
