Sparin seemed to care enough about only getting three stars, they personally addressed my review and sent me this new and improved version to replace what I removed and threw away. So in the interest of fairness, here we go...
Perfect notch cutout - necessary for Face ID to work as it should without a glitch? Done. Thin enough for immediate response time with no lapse - tested with a soccer game and 2nd Gen Apple Pencil vía a sketching app? Done. Thick enough to protect the 3rd Gen 12.9” iPad Pro? Absolutely. As a matter of fact, I removed the horrendous plastic built in screen protector in the otherwise perfectly designed Otterbox case for this iPad and replaced it with this.
Did I really do that to a $100+ case!? Absolutely! The built in screen protector had the worst sensitivity issues I had come across - especially in the too many areas where there was space between it and the screen. Warranty? I don’t care about voiding the warranty. If I need the warranty, the iPad is done. Also, it is thin enough that the Otterbox case snaps shut as it normally does. Advice: Personally, I will ALWAYS choose tempered glass over any other choice when given one, and make sure it adheres to the entire surface and not just the edges...I’m talking to you, Apple Watch Series 4 Screen Protector manufacturers!

It fits the iPad Pro 3rd Generation 2018 perfectly. I was careful about buying a screen protector after hearing the fuss about face ID not working and I can confirm the cutouts are perfect as hell. Face ID works, everything about it is good except my only complaint (kind of expected) - the protector itself seems much smoother than the iPad screen. After getting used to writing on the iPad without a screen protector, as soon as I started writing on this, it was almost like slippery. Like REALLY smooth. If you like that, its for you, but if you enjoy more of a gripping writing experience, this is not the screen protector for you. What I did tho was just take a paper towel and rubbed the screen for about 5 mins and did the same with a microfiber. This is to attempt and wear down some of the coating, which has been working so far
I am a tough consumer & reviewer. I expect products & descriptions to live up to the claims. No matter their cost. Look at my other critical reviews...but this time. INCREDIBLE! I took a chance on these because they were the most reasonable for the price. I am impressed! They come very well packaged & include the wipes & the dust absorbers needed for a clean install. These things work great, look amazing & seem to be protecting the screen excellently! Take ur time when installing & the results should match mine. Will for sure recommend to friends! Skip the more exspensive brands at Blue shirts 😉 ($43.99 was the cheapest for single protector in my local store) & grab these.
I've used similar protectors on all of me phones for years and it takes some practice to get good at installing them. This one comes with a great plastic "guide" that fits over the iPad allowing for a straight lineup right away. I wish they all had this so I'll be looking for that in future purchases. I'm also wondering if this glass doesn't have some hydrophobic/oleophobic coating as it seem to be far more resistant to fingerprints. All in all I couldn't be happier.
The trick to a successful install are as follows:
- A Clean surface - make sure you get every finger print and dust speck off before installing
- NO DUST!!! - As stated above this dust will lead to maddening frustration as it will create a "bubble" you can remove. Make sure you clean the screen well and if possible install in a room in your house with little/no carpet or lint. I often use the bathroom and even shut the furnace/AC vent to ensure a dust free environment.
- Be patient - read the direction and go slowly.
- Use the dust grabber - if you do see a dust speck back off immediately and use the adhesive to remove it. It will likely be in the back of the protector.
I'm used to the Zagg glass screen protectors which are quite expensive. But I bought this one since Zagg hasn't released anything yet for the new iPads. Thought this would be a cheap, low quality, temporary solution. But it's not! Good packaging to start with. Installation was quite easy. You need to be careful but it worked out for me. It fits perfectly and works just fine. Nice and smooth surface. Pleasantly surprised about this product.

Thanks to the seller Lucust-US, replacement arrived today, only took 5 min to install it, no dust no touch sensitivity issue with Apple Pencil or of the market brand.
my wife iPad pictures do it no justice, because that screen protector almost invisible you can't tell if it's there in real aside from the cut for the face id.
upgrading from 2 stars to 4 for now
the seller contacted me and will be send replacement for it, it seems that the one I had might be defective which we all know sometimes happened.
and for Seller to be nice enough and sending replacement to make sure customer is happy which in my opinion deserve 5 stars just for being nice.
now about the screen protector, as I said before I've had so many of it never with issue the installation it self was easy enough, the frame that comes with the screen protector help a lot however you might want to make sure you put some force when applying it to the iPad after that just follow instruction and nothing will go wrong.
it's always best to turn on hot shower just for few min as the steam will help making it dust free environment just remember to turn off central heat or AC as it will make dust flying everywhere, when you peal off the film just do like %15 of it and attach it to the top side of the iPad then go on from there do not remove the whole film off it will catch some dust if there's any around.

first screen protector had a big crack on the left top side, the second one having a trouble stay attached to the iPad, so both laying in the trash basket now, I have had so many screen protectors from Sparin before and never had issues, makes me wonder if I just had bad luck
Screen is hard to install. I'd have prefered for this product to have an installation tray. Instructions say to use sticky tape (included) to pre-place the protector, flip it open, and remove the protector's plastic cover. This is a recipe for disaster, because removing the cover that way almost guarantees for dust to either fall on the protector or on the screen. Besides, using sticky tape does not give you enough precision to place the protector on the screen. With the curved edge of the phone screen, placing the protector just off becomes a big problem. Lesson: look for protectors with installation tray.
I have been purchasing items from Amazon for many years, this is my first review. I purchased the iPad Pro 12.9 a few weeks ago, I use my iPad a lot for school. I was disappointed my how gross my computer screen got after a few hours of use. I usually wipe all of my products (iPhone, iPad, Keyboard, Screens, Apple Pencil) down every single night with alcohol wipes because they get oily after a days worth of use, but the iPad was especially gross. I’ve never used a screen protector on my iPad before because I always have it in a case, so I was very skeptical. I absolutely love the screen protector, not only does it stay clean for the day, it actually helps with the glare, and the screen will help protect the screen from Apple Pencil use. The iPhone screen protectors I have purchased have frames to help you install them, there was one 12.9 sized protector that I saw and it had bad ratings. This screen protector comes with stickers which I thought was odd, but I watched the video and followed along and it was a really easy installation. There were some bubbles in the middle at first and I had to lift the tempered glass quite a bit, if you do it slowly and patiently, you should be fine. PROS/Installation is Easy, Less Finger Prints, Reduces Glare, Protects the Screen from the Apple Pencil CONS/A little pricey than some of the alternatives, but worth it in my opinion — ALSO contrary to other reports, the screen protector doesn’t add a lag or interfere with ANY use of the Apple Pencil.
The first one of these I purchased would not work with my Apple Pencil so I told the company. They immediately apologized, stated a few older ones were still in warehouses and they would ship a new one to me soon, which they did. The new one is even easier to apply within a plastic frame that pops on before you open and apply the protector. Easier to align and apply. They even include 2 protectors the package.. In the first package, the first one went on perfectly no problem. With this one, I had some challenges with the bubbles not going away, so I finally just opened the second protector and it went on perfectly. My pencil works perfectly now too! I am VERY SATISFIED with the product itself and Great Customer Service as well! They are quick and want your Satisfied! Rare to find people like this these days! Very very satisfied!! Thanks so much!
This screen protector fits and performs perfect for my new 12.9 iPad Pro. The kit includes everything needed to install including a frame to help with correct placement. The cutout for the camera is exact and allows perfect face recognition. I have also had no problems with the touch screen - it functions just the same as it did before installation. Installation of these can always be a bit tricky so I recommend you read the instructions and tips, watch the videos and most of all take your time. I had a question about installation and received an immediate response from the seller along with tips and even a follow-up email to insure that I was satisfied. That is amazing customer service in my opinion.
