After sustaining a concussion and being laid up, I noticed my weight creeping up from inactivity. I have digestive problems and do not eat much protein. I started using Slim Fast Advanced in March to increase my protein intake. I like the taste and the variety of flavors. One drink replaces a meal for me. Being a diabetic, I also like that it only has 1 gram of sugar. I have lost a few pounds since starting this drink but I mostly use it for nutrition not just to lose weight.
Slim Fast with 20g of protein is awesome.I don't think it's too thick like some people. I love it icy cold though and sometimes put the bottle in the freezer for 15-20 minutes. I am very overweight. I have made up my own diet that I believe will get me fast results and one I can live with. I am having 2 or 3 slim fasts a day and 2-3 8 oz bottles of V8. The Slim Fast stops my craving for sweets, and V8 stops my craving for something salty. I'll update later to let you know if it's working. So far so good. One week down.

Great for weight loss and rebuilding yourself after dehydration/ stomach bugs. Has 23% of daily recommended potassium per shake. So great for hangovers, or in my recent sitution a 24 hour stomach bug that destroyed my husband and I. As a nurse, having this made me confident we didn’t need to go to the ER for electrolyte replacement. I am not giving medical advice, just saying how having the nutrients of a meal in a smallish amount of liquid made it much easier to come back from being sick and not being malnourished.
Ok this is a real review let me tell you everybody kept telling me you wasted your money ,this isn't going to work my family kept doubting me and making me feel bad but guess what they all was wrong! I used to hate meal replacement products because they can't stop me from feeling hungry and weak in the day and most of the products advertise themselves as hunger-control. But Slimfast really works!!!! I can easily get over a whole morning with one bottle of strawberry shake (180 kcal only) and a medium apple. Now I can feel my ribs more when I'm lying down. Strawberry shakes taste more creamy and thick than the chocolate flavor. I just order the vanilla shakes today and will update soon.
Creamy and good tasting. Turns out he Strawberry Slim Fast is actually my favorite of the flavors. It;s not always available at my supermarket. I think others have discovered it's really good when you churn it up in the blender with some ice or just over some crushed ice.
