Fee Brothers Black Walnut Cocktail Bitters - 4 Ounce

Fee Brothers Black Walnut Cocktail Bitters - 4 Ounce

a few drops go a long way. i put it in everything where i want a "nutty" note. coffee, ice cream, any baked goods, esp. brownies and waffles.
i haven't dabbed any on my pulse points, yet, but...

Used in a Manhattan, this is absolutely wonderful. Cut the Vermouth by 50% and use Amaretto instead, along with these bitters, and you have an absolutely FABULOUS Manhattan. Saw the recipe at Adam's Tavern in Westfield, NJ. My new 5:00 happy hour go-to.

The black walnut flavor is a great switch of bitters when making Old Fashioneds with bourbon & Grand Mariner. The only negative I can say about it is that it doesn’t have a medicine dropper to distribute the bitters by drops. The dispenser is similar to the dispensers on Lea & Perkins Worchestershire Sauce bottles.

Love black walnut flavor and was too lazy to go to a liquor store to look for some..so Amazon. These bitters are flavorful, complex, and add an very distinct and delicious flavor to an old fashioned cocktail.

I bought these to make fancy Manhattans. I stole the recipe from a local restaurant: bourbon, amaro liqueur, these bitters, and a cherry. They are very very good!

This little addition will take a good drink and turn it into a great one. We used it to make a very tasty Old Fashioned. From now on these bitters will always be part of our bar stock

I like these because they aren't quite as spicy as more typical bitters. Not spicy as in hot, but spicy is in Christmas like. The earthiness of these walnut bitters is a welcome addition to my Manhattans.

As with all bitters, a little goes a long way. But this adds a whole new dimension to bitters. Pair it with the right cherries, some simple syrup and a good bourbon and you are in business.

Try this in the next " Old Fashion " instead of reg. bitters, don't think you'll be disappointed or go back to the reg.

Great choice to change up your standard old fashioned recipe. Delicious deep, complex walnut flavors.
