Wow! Amazing shawarma spice mix, never thought lamb could taste this good. Overall, really good, and very easy to put together, and surprisingly filling. It was done in about 40 mins; next time I think I'd be able to do it closer to the suggested 30 mins. The spice mix for the meatballs was just amazing...very flavorful; the naan was fluffy, and tabbouleh was on point. For the tabbouleh it says to roughly chop the mint and parsley, next time I'll finely chop it instead. I also ended up using only half the lemon. Definitely will add to my rotation!
Quick side note, I've tried a few (5 so far) of these meal kits, and have been blown away by all of them in terms of taste, satiety (feeling full after), and ease of making these meals; I haven't tried other meal kits so don't have a baseline to compare mostly because I'm not ready yet to commit to a weekly subscription. It's great how these meal kits push the boundaries of cooking at home for someone who is inexperienced and doesn't have time to shop for and try new recipes; beats ordering in any day!
Lamb meatballs were nice and juicy, the salad was a good mix with the meal, naan was soft, and the pepperoncini added a really nice kick it it all. Definitely would get again :) So much falvor all packed into this amazing meal! My taste buds were having a party! Lol
Meatballs and sauce are amazing, tabouleh is good too but I would chop mint & parsley more finely next time. Garlic naan & peperoncinis finish this off perfectly. End to end this was a 30 minute meal that came together quickly. Did generate more dishes than I’d like though...
This was fun to make and delicious. Seasoning was very well balanced - The gloves that were provided to make the meatballs was a nice touch.
We thought this was a delicious meal! Full of flavor, perfectly cooked by the instructions. Would definitely make again
