These white metal wall mounts work perfect with our Arlo cameras. I didn't trust the magnet mount on our front porch, the camera was too easy to remove and I was worried someone would just reach up and grab it. This wall mount is nicer! We hung it up at the top of our porch to the side of the front door. It's about 7' up as recommended for the camera and we were able to angle the camera so it catches people walking up the walkway. I can see when we get deliveries, and also when people walk across the lawn past our porch.
Since the camera screws onto this wall mount I'm not too worried about someone grabbing it. By the time someone unscrewed the camera (7 feet up) we would already have been notified that someone was there. These wall mounts are perfect for the places you really need to monitor. The round magnetic ones we use for different areas in the backyard/house so we can move them around easier to monitor the pets.

I received a replacement mount pretty darn quick. It was flawless. Camera mounted without any difficulty this time.
Received my order of Aftermarket outdoor camera mounts. Immediately, I could tell the difference between the original and this mount. The weight is about 1/2 of the original. The description states more access to the USB port. Can't say for sure on that. The greatest dissatisfaction is the threaded mount that screws into the back of the camera does not screw all the way in. It acts as if it's either the wrong threads per inch or SAE vs Metric. Unable to mount the second camera because it was acting as if it was cross threading. Both the camera's threads seem ok and the threaded mount of the assembly seems ok. Just wouldn't thread and didn't want to ruin my Arlo Pro. So here we are
Mounts were campatible with arlo cameras. Fast shipment and came with screws for mounting. I did have issues positioning camera direction because when you try to lock down position the mount would change camera position. Was a little frustrating because locking it down forced position change. Had to overcompensate to make it work.
Excellent Outdoor Mounts that are easily adjusted for camera position. However, the round thumb nut, used to lock the mounting screw with the camera, is to large to allow the camera to be powered by an AC outdoor cable. I solved this problem by replacing the large thumb nut with a small metal nut. (see photo) If the vendor would include a small nuts (nylon) in the hardware package, it would solve this problem.
Use a 1/4 inch hex bolt instead of the plastic wheel and you will be able to use an L shaped power plug for constant power. You may have to file a little off the angles that protrude from the hex bolt to make it go on more easily, but now you will have a $20 wall mount for about $6. A 1/4 inch hex bolt is about 15 cents or less at a hardware store. Just take the wall mount to the store and try bolts until you get one that fits. A rivet nut would probably be even better, but I wasn't able to find one in my garage.
Of course, you can also just use scissors to cut down the outside of the plastic wheel until you can get the power plug in. I did that also.
Pretty simple when you think about it, but it took me an hour to figure out what to do...ah well. I hope this helps fuel other solutions, as $19 for a wall mount is just ridiculous.

The rust-resistant aluminum holds up to the elements well if you want to mount it outside. With 360 degrees of swivel and 90 degrees of tilt, this mount gives you the visibility you need for your Arlo camera.
These mounts appear to be cast aluminum and painted, which should hold up to damp climates reasonably well. They seem pretty solid once installed, I had a couple issues during install:
The casting isn't great, so when tightening the collar the part the camera mounts to snags in the joint and tries to turn with it. I had to have the camera assembly rotated counter clockwise a bit so it would be in the right place when I tightened the collar.
I had a couple of screws snap with a handheld screwdriver even with pre-drilled holes going into the eaves under my roof. Luckily they provided extras, so I pre-drilled the holes a little bigger and tried again.
So to sum it up they are perfectly functional and look fine but could use some improvement in materials and craftsmanship. That being said, its easy to overlook the less than perfect quality considering how ridiculously cheap they are, so I would probably order them again in the future.
This mount does not look exactly like stock adjustable mount provided by Arlo. The lock "nut" that snugs against the camera is larger and easier to operate on this mount. I also believe it is sturdier than the original Arlo mount. The mounting method is the same: three screws secure the base to the surface you are mounting it to. The adjustments are the same and also more secure in my opinion. So why get this mount? Maybe because you get two mounts for about half the price of one sold by Arlo. My Arlo system came with three cameras, but only one adjustable mount. I originally mounted one of my two outside cameras using the magnetic indoor mount. When I found this mount after looking for an OE one from Arlo, I went for it. Glad I did!
These mounts are essential if you are going to install your security cameras outdoors. They are sturdy and yet compact, and come with a couple of options to attach to an exterior wall. In my case, I needed much longer screws, but since I had them on-hand, I was able to install each mount in about 15 minutes. Adjusting the camera angle is a bit tricky, as you have to get the screw turned almost tight in order for the camera to maintain the angle, then when you twist it another 1/4 turn to tighten it completely, the angle changes. After a few tries, I got it right. Product arrived in the same shipment as my Arlo 2 kit, in perfect condition. Highly recommended.
I found this product while reviewing the best outdoor mounts for the Arlo Pro camera system. It definitely is easy to install anywhere around the outside of the house. Once screwed down, it is very sturdy and hold the camera without any give. My one issue is the swivel part right behind the camera seems to be fixed down. Not sure if this is due to manufacturing or not. It took a bit of time to loosen it up, but even then once you start to screw it down, the swivel function becomes limited before you fully tighten it. This is compared to the Arlo outdoor mount which freely allows manipulation of the camera without any issues. Still highly recommend as an alternative to the more pricier Arlo outdoor mount.
The mounts were easy to install and adjust to use with the Arlo Pro 2 cameras. I had both of them up with cameras attached within 15 minutes. The one issue with mount is the round plastic piece on the the screw, it gets in the way of the Wasserstein outdoor power cable. This really surprised me since both products are made by them. I had to remove the round piece of plastic on the screw so that the power cable could be used. An easy thing to do, but surprised to come across that issue.
