I would give this a million stars if I could. Bought this last week because my non verbal disabled child had been very upset. She has been having problems at school and when I popped up last week she had been crying. Hid this in her head full of hair and learned how she is mistreated at school. Even caught her aide threatening to "punch her in the face" because she was crying. Thank you for helping me to protect my daughter.
I was surprised at how well this is made. I thought it might be a bit more "rickety" than a normal USB drive. It's built tough. Recording sound quality is also excellent. Also, they have a Yt video posted to assist in ease of use.
This records clearly in my pocket in my purse and has good clarity. I expected this to be a joke. It is amazing.
I was impressed at how well it sounds on playback thru the computer. (that's the only way, but you can also save the file)
It's the size of and looks like a USB flash drive. Keep the flashing lights pointed away from the subject if needed. (They quickly stop flashing anyway. Speakers need to be turned up ever so slightly compared to pre saved CD's in the computer. Frequency response is almost "live" maybe very slightly less, but volume will compensate. What do you want, million dollar recording perfection. Will buy again and really have no complaints. Very happy with the sound quality. I've had more expensive equipment that wasn't as good.
This mini voice recorder captures everything in the area. Everything is clear and loud so you do not have to constantly move it around. Just turn it on and let it do its' job. It is perfect.

It is small and has good sound quality. Easy plug and recognize. Definitely worth the money and customer service is great! That is what I needed. It's perfect for my needs.
This recorder is super easy to use, easily recognized by my Windows 10 PC and the record quality is very good. In a quite room, even a whisper can be heard and understood even at 10 foot distance. Great for meetings and lectures which is what my use is for. Also good for dictation of ideas.
Been using this device for couple days, absolutely loving this voice recorder! It is very little, just like any other USB, easily to carry but with excellent battery life at the same time. Super easy to use, recording is clear with high quality. 8GB of memory, which is enough for daily use. Overall very handy and useful device!
The construction is rock-solid, and it feels good in-hand. It functions as advertised. The included software for setting the time is very easy to use. Simply run the non-interactive program and the clock onboard is set to the host system's clock immediately.
However, I found the packaging to be overkill. A cardboard box with a folded cardboard insert would have done just fine. It's a little slow to start and stop, so it's not great for quick takes.
My main complaint is that the sound is recorded with a 16KHz sample rate. That's very low quality sound, but good enough for voice notes. I was hoping for 22,050Hz or 44,100Hz sampling. I don't care how quickly it will eat memory -- 8GB is plenty even for that. This isn't a technology or cost issue. It would have been trivial to make it record at 44KHz, but rather a design choice, and probably the correct one (but seriously, you could have used 22KHz).
My four stars, despite being disappointed with the sound quality, are because it does do what it's supposed to do, has a great housing, is well-documented, the fair price, and that you can set the clock. The lack of one star is because the packaging was overkill, the delays in starting and stopping, and the low sample rate recording.
