This is the BEST low carb bread I've had in more than 2 years. I've tried other low-carb brands and recipes but they've ALL been very dense and bland/weird tasting. In the last 24 hours since my order arrived (kudos for the super fast delivery!) I've had a terrific grilled cheese sandwich and a wonderful-great-way-to-start-your-day breakfast sandwich. As I'm writing this review, I'm thinking about the sandwich I'm going to make when I get home. Absolutely worth every penny!
Absolutely delicious! ANY eater, low carb diet or not, would love this bread. Nothing "strange" about it. Looks, smells, feels, tastes like the regular old high carb bread. I've made sandwiches, cowboy eggs, grilled cheese, toast, french toast, etc and everything was wonderful! Such a treat to be able to have good/normal bread. I just put my 2nd order in the cart. I'm definitely hooked!!!
Takes 2 weeks to arrive...that's the only con.
Update...this bread stays fresh down to the last slice. Freezes well. The shipping speed must depend on stock? I'm on my third order..first took 2 weeks, second took 4 days, waiting on third one now. I completely live on this bread as a staple. Urine strips show that I stay ketone positive. I'm on day 105 of low carb eating and steadily losing. Products like Sola bread make it so easy!
Yes this bread is a wee bit pricier than what we're used to paying for high carb versions, but you like me are probably no longer a gluttonous eater and so 1 sandwich is filling and satisfying. It's worth the price to me. I was tired of being so fat and unhealthy. I still like eating "normal" and this bread helps tremendously! I'm addicted to it!
Update: I've ordered probably 10x...not sure. The shipping box is not marked with a PERISHABLE sticker and the box tends to sit around the UPS warehouse and post office, instead of swiftly moving along. 3 days were lost locally just sitting. I urge others to contact Sola and ask for PERISHABLE stickers for their boxes. This bread is waaaaay too expensive to just languish in a warehouse. I still love it! Favorite low carb bread by far!!!
Update again: This does NOT work as a substitute for breadcrumbs! You cannot use it in meatloaf etc....it will all migrate out of the food like sponge bits. I've tried making breadcrumbs by drying it via room air and also drying it in oven...both times were a failure and multiple slices were wasted.
STILL no perishable stickers on shipping box.
This is actually decent bread. I got the white wheat. I love fresh white bread but I'm doing the keto diet so I decided to try this. When it arrived I was excited and took out a piece to taste and it was nothing like fresh bread. It had a strong taste and although it had a breadlike texture it was slightly spongy. That being said.... when I used it as toast or grilled cheese all these issues are masked quite well. So I threw it in the freezer and I just toast a piece as needed. It will definitely get you through a bread craving but it is not wonderful and delicious like fresh white bread. Overall good bread but I do miss the deliciousness of tuna on super fresh white bread.
This is an excellent low carb option for bread. I've tried a lot of various low carb options including baking my own and none of them have been good. Sola products are gold, folks. Yes they are a little pricy but I'm telling you they are worth every penny! One loaf can sit out on the counter for two weeks (if they last that long) and the others can be stored in the freezer for several months. Makes the 3 pack useful and worth it. The texture is pretty similar to normal store bought loaf bread except it has a very slightly sponginess to it. It's barely noticeable though and doesn't affect the taste one bit.
I have been craving grilled cheese like crazy lately so I looked all over the place and my friend recommended this brand. I saw the warnings about mold so I stuck it in the freezer as soon as it came (after inspecting for mold). The slices are smaller than your average regular bread slice but whatever, I can eat the cheese into the right size. When you use plenty of butter, it grills/toasts to a gorgeous golden brown. The taste is a bit bland, and it's kind of weirdly spongy, but if you use a sharper cheese (I'm using pepper jack but I think an extra sharp cheddar would do well too) you should be OK. It's a little tasteless if you use a mild cheese like Havarti. I think someone else posted that they just eat the ends with butter. I was skeptical but I spread Kerrygold all over the ends really thickly and it was AMAZING. Granted, I haven't really eaten much Kerrygold because I'm a cheapskate and I have been using some other less expensive brand. My husband likes Kerrygold though and that's what was soft so I'm sold on it. Anyway... the combo of the Kerrygold and the Sola breadbutts is so good that I've been fighting myself about going to eat a couple slices of bread and butter for like 2 hours now.
I tried the wheat and loved it, and I just ordered the oat. If it's as good as the wheat I'll leave this- if it's better or worse, I'll update.

When I do a Keto-diet, the biggest challenge I face is handling my cravings for my food favorites, buttered toast being a huge one! But this bread is everything I could've hoped for and more - you get a decent amount of protein per slice, and with few enough carbs to definitely be "keto-friendly"! I just ordered three loaves, and I guarantee I'll be ordering more by the end of the week!
Try it when you make grilled cheese - I used olive oil mayo and sharp cheddar. It's my new guilty pleasure.
Ok. I want to lose some weight and just be better with what I'm eating. I'm trying to go Keto, but 20 carbs a day is really tough. I enjoy sandwiches. I'd typically eat Country Oven Honey and Oat which was 38 net carbs for 2 slices. I finished that bread and then switched my lunches to something else. But didn't really enjoy what I was eating. I wanted a sandwich. I started searching the Internet for a mystical low carb bread and Sola came up. I don't typically put a ton of weight into reviews but I always look at them. Honestly, I was nervous about ordering but I did. Fairly quick delivery. Surprisingly good taste. In fact, I couldn't really tell I was eating any different of a bread than before and the Sweet Oats is pretty similar to what I would eat anyway. So that's all good. The negative is this. The slices are small. Half the size (it seems) of what I'm used to. Which is actually fine, but not when you factor in the cost! I bought it at $18 for 2 loaves and at $9 each that's honestly a little crazy. Maybe $6 would be reasonable to me, so now I'm a little bummed I liked it. I just can't see myself continuously buying this. Especially when I just checked and the price is now at $12 a loaf. Maybe I shouldn't buy off Amazon, I don't know. I hope Sola makes this available to more people by finding the best price that still makes them money. Only other thing I'll say, I don't have a use by date so I'm nervous about how long this will be good for. I put the other loaf in the freezer (which I absolutely hate doing with bread) and I'm keeping the loaf I'm using in the fridge just to be safe. Overall, really good bread.
Wow! Just amazing. Soft not like rubber and tasty too! Going to make some French toast for dinner. I can’t wait! It is the closest to “real bread” I have purchased to date.
This is an amazing bread substitute! It's soft, fresh and smells like real bread. I opened the box and tasted it fresh out of the pack. It's was a little chewy but still met (🍞) standards. The taste was similar to bread but it was something there that let's you know....this ain't bread..it was a slight disappointing..but then ah ha moment... I toasted/grilled it in butter and tasted it again..this time it reached above my standards..the only way I can describe it is to think of it as raw and you have to cook it a little 🤷but it of course it's not raw. .So normally I have fresh bread with my tuna sandwiches but since it's better toasted..I did it that way and it's great!
