Organic Coconut Milk Powder by Anthony's (1lb), Gluten Free, Vegan & Dairy Free

Organic Coconut Milk Powder by Anthony's (1lb), Gluten Free, Vegan & Dairy Free

I mostly got the Anthony's Organic Coconut Milk Powder to try as a creamer. I will be traveling to France for two weeks and am dairy free and I've read that coffe shops that offer almond or coconut creamers as an alternative are few and far between. While I will be VERY close to Burnt Coffee Bean Central or as hubby calls them "Factory coffee", I prefer to avoid them at ALL costs.
So I tried it the first day and felt like I needed a lot of it and I could taste the coconut flavor. That is not offensive to me and I was surprised that I could even taste it because I eat a lot of coconut products but it's probably because most recently I'd been using almond creamer in my coffee. Day two I decided to try the same amount (10g) that is in a serving of Coconut Clouds dried Coconut Milk Creamer and it seems to have "whitened" my coffee enough for my taste and the coconut flavor is still very slight to me. I even let my coffee sit a while and added a little more to 'warm' it back up and I still didn't have any problem dissolving the powder in my coffee. I didn't actually use measuring spoons the first time just the Tbs you eat with.

1 Yes there's a creamy like film on top but there was also one on the CC creamer.
2 No it did not seem 'oily' to me.
3 Yes it did disolve completely and fairly quickly/easily for me.
4 No it did not have or leave a 'grainy' texture/feel in my coffee at all.
5 Yes I would recommend as a powdered non-dairy coffee creamer.
6 No it was not 'clumpy' for me (best by date on my bag was 04/28/2020 maybe when it's a little older 🤷🏻‍♀️)
7 No I did not feel the need to stir before each sip.
8 No I have not had issues with my resealable bag but if I had, I'd just transfer to a Mason jar and not hold it against the product.
9 No it does not have mixing directions on package to make 'milk'.

I feel like it's unfair to rate a product lower because you didn't like the price or it got damaged in shipping. We're supposed to be rating the product, which is why I read the negative comments first so I can see if people are being petty and can discount them. Then I read their other reviews to see if they love complaining about everything. Really puts their reviews into perspective.

When I bought my first bag of coconut milk powder, I wasn't sure what to do with it. My recipes were experimental and, mostly, a flop. I finally figured out how to make my own coconut whipped cream, though. Basically, it's two parts coconut milk powder to one part almost-boiling water. Add sweetener to taste. It's best to whip it with a mixer, the longer the better. A little coconut milk powder makes a big batch of coconut whipped cream, and it tastes every bit as good as it does when you use coconut milk in a can. Kept in a covered dish in the fridge, it lasts a few days. This is much more economical, plus you don't have to worry about preservatives.

I was looking for powdered coconut milk to work out a DIY primal collagen-coconut milk mix recipe. I ordered Anthony's and have been happy with it, enough so that I re-ordered it when I needed more. I use it in soups and curries, too, as well as coffee and tea (including making dairy-free Thai iced tea).

I find re-sealable bags to be annoying to work with so I did what I usually do: poured the coconut milk powder into a glass canning jar. I ran the powdered coconut milk through my food processor first to get rid of the inevitible clumping that happens when a naturally oily product sits for a while on a shelf and gets tossed around a bit during shipping.

pricey but worth every penny, i absolutely love it. i was quiet skeptical because lots of people said they did not enjoy it in their coffee but i totally do. i found that whisking it in the coffee or tea dissolves it entirely. i was having issues with just a spoon. i have a mini whisk and that works wonders. i also love it in my tea!!

I’m using this powder for SPA purposes. The smell is great when I open it and I add 8 tablespoon mix with coco butter and honey. The smell of the coconut milk is still nice and fragrant after being mix and place in the bath water. After soaking in 20 mintutes my skin is soft and smooth

Excellent to have around , especially good in matcha green tea. I also use it in smoothies or coffee. Great in recipes if you want extra coconut flavor . Good brand.

I like this coconut milk powder. It is a bit clumpy, but dissolves well in hot water. The taste is very good and it's organic. I have tried several and this is my favorite.

Nice coconut milk powder. Perfect as a coffee creamer! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is due to the price. It was more expensive than the other brand of coconut milk powder that I usually buy. I will buy this again if the other brand is out of stock in the future though.

I am totally new to this “keto lifestyle” and I was recommended by my nutritionist, as part of my diet, to eat one tablespoon of coconut milk powder with half an avocado every day for my afternoon snack, and let me tell you: it’s the best thing ever!!!! I had never had coconut milk powder before, ever, and it’s sooooo good! I’ve used it on many different recipes now and it never fails to amaze me how good it is as a substitute for milk and it making everything taste even better. I make a little low carb “bread” (4tbs of milk powder, one egg and baking powder - bake!) and it’s sooooo much better with coconut milk instead of regular milk. Love it!. I’m sticking to this brand because it’s organic and all products are free of additives. I also got blanched almond flour from it.

I got this to replace coffee creamer in my Chai tea and I didn't like it. I just ended up learning to drink it without creamer. I used this to make Chocolate Chia pudding though and it was yummy! lowcarbyum.com/chocolate-chia-pudding-recipe/
