Espuña Mild Chorizo Ring (Sarta)

Espuña Mild Chorizo Ring (Sarta)

I love good chorizo. There are probably an infinite variety of Spanish chorizos in many styles. This made in the US Chorizo tastes very much like what you'd get in Spain. This is the mild version and therefore it goes with many different foods as it complements rather than overwhelms. I'm looking forward to trying their hotter version and comparing it with Palacios brand which I tried and also liked. If you're looking for a mild chorizo, you won't go wrong with this one..

We use chorizo sliced for part of our appetizer offering. Everyone is enjoying the authentic Spanish seasoning. I would recommend this product. I need to add that there are many different types of Chorizo to purchase and not all are the same. This chorizo was obviously made with quality products. It is not fatty nor over seasoned and the texture is very palatable. Many of our friends, who have not enjoyed chorizos in the past, definitely enjoy this product.

In the middle of FL, it's sometimes necessary to make a 3 hr tr round trip to either Orlando or Tampa to buy specialty food products. This chorizo, delivered quickly, at a reasonable price, is another good example of successful on-line shopping. The chorizo is well packaged and exactly as described. Next time I will order a more spicy version. Mild is perfect for those who don't want heat in the meat.

Couldn't find this locally. Had a recipe for Pork and Chorizo Stew with peppers (Carcamusa) that I wanted to try. Initially we didn't care for the flavor of the Spanish Chorizo by itself. In the recipe it really shined and made the dish! I will be buying it again.

Ordered several of these for a tapas and paella party we were throwing. They were excellent. These are Spanish style chorizo hard sausage just like you get in a tapas bar in Barcçelona. Very nicely spiced and delicious warmed up.

Description

Back in the old Spain a common way to present dry cured sausages was in the form of a ring. The shape made it easy to tie together, hang and cure. In Spanish these ring salami are called "Sarta", which literally means a set of objects tied together with twine. Spanish ring salami are of a thin diameter, under 1 and a 1/2", have a small grind and are cured for 30 days, or less. The thin diameter and small grind make for a small and uniform slice, fat and lean are usually of the same size.

I've bought perhaps 5 or 6 orders of this chorizo and it's consistently great! Always fully cured ( not mushy, like some others), not too spicy, perfect texture, and goes perfectly on a sandwich on your favorite bread... Reminds me of being back in Spain :)

Speedy delivery was required (due to my late order) and authentic Spaniard Chorizo taste essential for our Garbanzo beans recipe. We loved it as a side dish to Rice , slow cooked Corned Beef and vegetables for our yearly St. Patrick's day celebration. It was a hit! Thank you for a great product.

This was everything I expected - it had a good, rich flavor at room temperature, sliced and served, and added plenty of flavor to a potato dish.

Great chorizo. Mild (not hot or super spiced). Good to eat cold as part of Tapas with Manchego cheese, to add to tortillas or beans. Highly recommended. Good and honest seller. Will buy again soon.

Love this product and the seller. This is my second or third purchase, speaks to the quality. No grizzle, just enough smoke. I used it to season my paella this time, plan on using it with my white bean and kale soup instead of ham. T
