I purchased my Accuteck All-in-One Digital Scale in order to help me calculate the cost of postage accurately for the many small parcels I mail out each week. Prior to having this scale, I was estimating the weight of my parcels, and it didn't take me long to discover that my estimates were almost always wrong... on the heavy side. As a result, I was spending a lot of unnecessary money for postage.
When I opened the box with my new Accuteck digital scale in it, I was immediately surprised by two things: 1.) How very well constructed this item is; and 2.) how compact it is, considering its capability to weigh items up to 50 pounds (22.68kg).
Here are some of the things I like best about my Accuteck digital scale:
1. As I mentioned before, it is very well built and compact in size. It fits easily into a small space on a desktop.
2. The digital display is large and easy to read.
3. It operates on both battery and AC power, and an AC adapter and three AAA batteries are included.
4. The scale is dead-on accurate. I checked its precision using a few items of known weight, and it weighed each item to within 0.01 ounce (283.5mg) of its stated weight. The scale required no calibration. It was ready to go right out of the box.
5. It is very good value for money.
In the few days I've owned my new Accuteck digital scale, I've used it frequently, and it has already enabled me to save on the cost of postage for items I've mailed. I think this is an essential tool for anyone operating any small online retail business. Highly recommended.

This scale has been a lifesaver!! I purchased this product mainly for my Etsy based business and for small amounts of personal use. I was shipping packages daily and waiting in line at the post office wasn't working for me.
This product has an on/off switch so I can keep it plugged in. It comes with batteries and the ability to opperate on them but I prefer to use the AV jack. This could be useful for travel though and I'm happy it has the options. It's perfect for me because I mainly shipping small, lightweight objects. This scale is a great price and successfully gets the job done.
Bottom line: this scale accurately weighs packages, great price, and compact. Would recommend!
I'm really digging this All-in-one scale! I sell on ebay and needed a good all around scale........this was it! Very easy to use and doesn't take up a lot of space. It will either run off 3 AAA batteries { included} or 5V adaptor.....just plug it in and you're ready to go. I also like the weight Capacity--up to 50lbs; Sensitivity--0.1oz. When unpacking, don't forget to remove the foam strips they placed in between the scale and base, I almost didn't see them! Also, if you read the instructions? Seems some reviewers didn't? The scale has a hold button on the right side of the scale, which basically lets you keep the weight of the item on the screen when weighting those large items that inhibit you from seeing the screen, until you remove that item. Definitely a plus! It also has a flip-up lid on the top of the scale for those items that won't stand easily on their own. Great little scale, user friendly and well thought out, can't beat it for the price.
I run a small Etsy business out of my home, and I got tired of making trips to the post office every time I needed to ship an order. Etsy offers the ability to print shipping labels that would save me from having to wait in line at the post office for each package I send, but in order to accurately determine shipping costs, I needed a scale.
After shopping around and comparing a number of different options, I decided to give this scale a try. It shipped quickly, and was incredibly easy to set up and start using. I love that it comes with both battery and plug in power options. This means I can save batteries while working at home, but it also gives me the flexibility to take it on the go.
The scale is small enough to be convenient, but large enough to handle all of my needs. I think it can handle up to 50 lbs, but I rarely send anything over a pound or two, so it is more than enough for my small business. So far it has been accurate and I have had no issues with weighing packages to determine accurate shipping costs.

I can also tell you that investing in a scale that enables me to weigh and print shipping labels at home was a great decision. The time I save now that I no longer need to wait in line at the post office for each package makes it more than worth the investment. And in addition to that, I actually save money by printing my shipping labels through Etsy (around .50 to .80 per package). So this scale has already paid itself off in the amount of money I have saved by printing my own labels! If you are frequently shipping packages, do youeself a favor and get one of these scales ASAP!
This is a small postal scale that weighs up to 50 lbs. You can use 3 AAA batteries or the AC adapter to power the scale. There is a lid you can lift if the item you are trying to weigh is an awkward shape and won't balance on the platform. There is a hold button you can press to keep the weight of the item on the screen after you remove it. That's great to use for items that are too large for you to see the screen while they are on the platform.
I sell a lot of clothes online. I use poly bags to mail them in. What I found is this scale is too small for the poly bags to fit on the scale correctly. When I try to use the lid that flips up to help balance my bag, sometimes the weight is a little off. Maybe I'm not doing something right, I haven't figured it out yet. As long as I don't use the lid to help weigh items, the weight has been exact.
This scale if perfect for someone who is using it to weigh small items in a box, or even to use as a kitchen scale. It is very easy to use and doesn't take up a lot of space.

Perfect scale for mailing. Has a nice hold button on the side so that when you can't see the display, you press the button and it will "hold" the weight on the display so you can remove your package and still see how much it weighs. Very pleased for the price.

Cons:
- not sure the weight is accurate I noticed a 2 oz difference when flipping the table lid up
- noticed a 1 or 2oz difference in weight when positioning the item on different areas of the scale
- the table lid was really hard to open it almost felt like I was going to break it
All in all Im only using this scale to weigh small packages. I always add a couple oz to the weight just to make sure I never under pay anyways. it will work for what I need it for for the most part. But the accuracy for some people may be very important so be aware.

I was worried by the low price of the scale. I was expecting something very cheaply made and of low quality, but that is not the case. This scale is very well made and seems quite durable. It's all plastic, but the plastic seems to be of high quality. It was well packaged and after inserting the batteries and removing the packing materials it fired right up.
It's 50 lb. capacity covers almost all of my shipping needs, as I very rarely ship anything heavier than that. I don't use the tare function, but it's nice to know it's there. I also like that I can calibrate it with any weight, not just 50 lbs.
I absolutely love that it has an AC adapter included, most of my previous scales were battery only and it really sucked when the battery would run out in the middle of shipping. It still can run on battery too, which means I can move it around if I need to.
The fold up mail holder isn't something I use often, but when I do, it is very handy.
For most of my shipping needs it works flawlessly, but it does have it's downsides.
First off it does take a while to boot up. After pressing the on button it takes about 5 seconds before you can actually use it. This isn't a bad thing, unless your weighing a lot of items. Since it has an auto shut off feature, you may find yourself waiting between items, and those 5 seconds will start to add up. If you're only weighing one or two things it's no big deal though.
The scale is on the small side (think kitchen scale), which means larger packages will obscure the display. This can be countered by utilizing the hold feature which holds the display until after the package is removed. That said larger items are unruly on this scale. The weight is not as accurate with items that are much larger than the scales platform. You need to try and center the weight on the scale which isn't always easy to do.
Overall for the price this is a great scale if you deal with smaller items. If I were to purchase again, I would probably spend a little more and get the pro version with the detachable display. If you deal with large items, you definitely want to look at something bigger (and probably much more expensive). Still for the price you'll be hard pressed to find anything better.
This is the perfect digital scale. I work as a chemist and I have dealt with scales, callibration of scales, etc. Let me say this very simple to use and the convenience is 10/10. I had purchase one because I sell on sites such as ebay, mercari, poshmark, etc and it helps to know how much your package/ item weighs so you can calculate and factor in shipping. I knew I didnt need something super accurate ( to the thousands + place) so this was perfect. It was very accurate and I had no discrepancies with the package weight when scanned by the post office. I think one best features of this scale in my opinion aside from the accuracy, is that can be either plugged in or powered by battery. My battery died and I didn't have any batteries left so I plugged it in and got right back to work! I definitely recommend this to anyone who sells things online and needs to weigh their packages. Its simple and accurate!
This scale is great. Seems very accurate, self calibrating, and the digital readout is easy to see. It comes with both a power adapter to plug into the wall and batteries for portable use which is a great feature.
Hit the on button, wait until the screen reads 0.0, set your item on it, done. Great device.
You will have to get creative if you need to weigh anything bigger than the platform though, which is fine because you can just zero the scale with the button on the right so it ignores the weight of whatever larger platform setup you add.
