This is really helpful for thickening some of my keto recipes since we don't use flour or cornstarch.

It was pretty funny though. I decided to add a little to some homemade mayo. It thickened it up instantly to where it really wasn't usable any longer. Lesson learned on that one.

It sure works great in some muffin recipes that might be too liquidy and in some fat bomb recipes. I use 1/4 tsp in some and 1/2 tsp in others.

You get a huge amount; therefore, this should last me several months or longer.

I used them in this Almond Joy Fat Bombs recipe. It worked like a charm.

I follow a low carb high fat diet. I used this Xanthan Gum to make an amazing coconut poke cake over the holidays. It helped thicken the custard and did it really well. Next stop country sausage gravy! Keep in mind in regards to the price, you use VERY little for each recipe.

Love the resealable bag! I thought I was going to have to cave in and start using several different types of Gluten-free baking products until I found this Xantham Gum here on Amazon. Now I can use just the one Gluten-Free All-Purpose without Xanthum Gum and add the proper amount that I need depending on the type of baking that I am doing. I will be ordering this FOREVER!

this is the only brand of this I have used, but have been very happy with results. I use in homemade low cal/fat protein ice cream. In combination with vegetable glycerin, helps thicken low fat ice cream base and helps prevent ice crystals from forming so your item doesn't freeze into a hard ice block in the freezer.

Xanthan gum is a very versatile ingredient and has many uses. It is very easy to work with...and a little goes a long way. Xanthan gum works well for thickening liquids, to create light foams and froths, as a thickener, stabilizer, emulsifier, suspending agent, or bodying agent in many food applications such as salad dressings, seasonings, sauces, instant products, desserts, bakery, dairy products, and fruit juices.

Aside from gluten free baking, xanthan gum has many every day uses. Turn chicken broth and herbs into a flavorful sauce with the herbs suspended in the broth. . Homemade sauces like Worcestershire sauce, tartar, cocktail, and barbecue sauces all benefit from adding xanthan gum. These sauces will become thicker and fuller.

Adding xanthan gum to homemade ice cream will prevent ice crystals from forming in the freezer. Using a "less fat" milk product, try adding xanthan to the nonfat milk or almond milk used in ice cream. You will end up with a thicker product while using the less fat milk product.

Are all xanthan gums the same? There are various strengths of xanthan gum as well as particle size. We use and sell an 80 mesh xanthan gum with a consistent viscous strength of 1400-1600 cps . We find that this strength provides consistent results for both gluten free baked goods and salad dressings.



It really pulls coconut flour recipes together and keeps them moist. I love that xanthan gum is also a prebiotic. I would recommend only using around half a teaspoon per recipe or your muffins/bread, will get gummy. Great stuff!

Being a diabetic and having to watch my carbs, I found a great recipe where I can make a low carb bread which requires the use of Xanthan Gum. I’ve only used the product once so far and my bread was amazing!! You only need a teaspoon but it seemed to do what it’s suppose to, which is bind the ingredients together! It worked great in my recipe and can’t wait to make it again! Great seller, too! My product was excactly described and and it arrived right on time!!!

Product arrived on time in good condition. Also worked very well to make gluten free bagels. Would definitely reccomend.

My wife and I are on a keto diet and we use this to thicken sauces into gravy or add it to low carb breads. Thickens without issue without adding any weird flavor. But be warned, this powder is very potent! If you use too much, your sauce will be a mucousy textured mess. For about 2 cups of liquid, a 1/8th teaspoon is more than enough to thicken it. Slowly add however much you're using and whisk constantly.

I use this to in my smoothies. Still trying to get the quantities correct, but I am happy with my order.
