It solved my iPhone photo storage issue. Before using it, I tried my old Apple computer. It crashed multiple times due to more than 13K photos. I used a PC and it failed with large files. I am impressed by it's metal look. It looked great. After downloading iDiskk pro and connecting it to my iPhone, the photo transfers was very fast. You just need to full charge your phone before doing it. I am able to select different folders for transferring photos. I did read the user manu to turn off iCloud upload setting before doing so.
This little thing is awesome. I’m lucky to get an electrical device turned on and I was able to figure out almost immediately how to quickly and easily transfer photos directly from my iPhone to the usb. And I was able to easily set up different folders on the usb for certain photos. Like “family” “work” “outdoors” etc etc. now anytime I take new pictures I simply plug it in and within 60 seconds my newest photos are backed up on the usb in their appropriate folder. I highly recommend this product.
It’s perfect! I compared many products and bought this after comparing many similar flash drives. But I can confirm this product works great with my iPhone, I didn’t face any problems like some people wrote. It’s very easy to connect to the app and then use it after that. Very handy for transferring files between my laptop and phone. It has good build quality and Looks cool too. Overall really good product. If you are looking for something similar, go for this one.
I don't know what happened to my iDiskk but what I do know is that they stand behind their product. I was sent a new device and it is working perfectly. So I am changing my rating because of the company's exceptional support and the new device.
Original Review... My iDisk been perfect until the last couple of months. I no longer can transfer videos and now I have a backlog on my cell phone. If someone can tell me what to do to make it so the videos work again I will give it 5 stars. The needs that I bought it for we’re great for awhile, I need to go back to how it used to be. Help!
Just to be safe, charge your phone fully before inserting this. What I did was just take it out of packaging, opened the box. I downloaded a QR code scanner to scan the QR code on the manual, which directed me to the app page for “ iDiskk pro”.
Downloaded and installed the app and I plugged the usb to my phone. It asked for permissions. I clicked the phone logo on the bottom. And i clicked type then all and I saw the % going by really slowly. It must have taken an hour for my 100gb worth of pics and videos that I’m probably gonna not look at anyway. I just like to hoard.

This is so awesome. I got so frustrated carrying around a heavy camera when my iphone takes just as good quality. I can just save the images and print right from the flash drive. It also saves movies and powerpoint presentations that I created with slides app. No need to carry around clunky projectors and computers.
This is a great device and more convenient with transferring Photo's and video's from my Macbook to iPhone and vice versa.
After 9 months continual usage I did encounter an issue with the lightning connection to my iPhone, in so far it didn't work.
I wrote to iDiskk via email and they responded almost immediately offering a full refund on my original purchase.
Now that's great customer service.
great buy, quality product
This is a great way to download your pictures from your phone to free up space to take more pics. I hated the notification that popped up saying I had ran out of storage. This eliminates that and gives you some time until you can get to a laptop. This was the second portable usb disk that I purchased. This one was far superior to the first one I bought from a retail store. I highly recommend this product- lightning fast and holds a lot of photos and videos. Small and handy. Worth it to have on vacations.
