I like these a lot. I tend to have a problem with poor appetite, and have to remind myself to eat. So If I'm messing around outdoors doing yardwork or hanging out with my chickens, I try to remember to stick a couple of these in my pockets before I leave the house.
If it's nice out, I'll sit out on my recliner reading the paper or my phone. The chickens tend to gather around me and some fly up on my lap because they know I have goodies, and I always share with my pets.
I'm pretty sure that if these are good for people, they are good for chickens.
It's not like I'm letting them stuff their faces with Marshmallows or something like that there, lol.
My mother loves these cliff bars, it's a struggle to keep her weight up, she just doesn't have the appetite she used to so I try to keep her supplied with high protein snacks. Her favorite is the White Chocolate Macadamia and I have a hard time finding that particular flavor in our local stores for some reason but found them here on Amazon for a reasonable price. They shipped quickly and on-line shopping is super convenient. Hope Amazon continues to carry a good supply of them.
Anyone who loves a good meal replacement bar, has seen and likely eaten the Clif bars. White chocolate macadamia nut are my favorite flavor, and the favorite flavor of my family. If you are at your local convenience store, these are sold individually for a minimum of $2 each, most likely $2.50 up. If you go to the grocery store the five pack will cost you about $7.
Then, we can take a look at Amazon subscribe and save prices. I get 18 bars per box and pay $13.50 roughly 4 These bars. Which makes it far cheaper than any other opportunity. They are well made, well packaged, have quality ingredients, and I eat one at least a day. I love subscribe and save and I couldn't recommend These bars more. They have just the right flavor, texture, they're very fresh and very portable. And they don't last long in my hands!
These are my very favorite flavor of Clif bars. I never get tired of these, and I’ve been eating one for breakfast almost every day for several years. They have a nice texture and taste. Sometimes I detect a vanilla extract flavor and sometimes a hint of coconut flavor. Very good.
It would be nice if the makers of Cliff's could get a few of the calories out of these bars, because that is the only thing that keeps me from making these more than a special occassion type of snack. If I'm not going to be doing some high energy thing, then it's not a good idea to eat these even though they taste great, have a nice texture, do not have any high-fructose corn syrup, nor any artificial sweetener and have a good solid feel and texture to them. Maybe the problem is that I just need to do more high-energy things so I can without guilt eat more of these.

Description
We know you care about doing good for the planet. That's why it’s not enough to say we make it good. We actually get out there, roll up our sleeves, and make things happen. With over one billion pounds of organic ingredients used to produce our energy bars and snacks we’re here to champion the power of organic, sustainable food. Because what's good for the planet and our farmers, is good for all of us.
Soft, textured and crunchy at the same time, sweet, but not too sweet. Tastes great whether fridge cooled for a firmer texture, or room temperature (chewy). It has the perfect flavor to complement to go with my morning coffee. I don't feel overly bloated after eating, and it seems to not give me a quick sugar rush like a doughnut would. The ingredients are completely acceptable as most all are organic. I think what I like best when I eat this in the morning is the texture does a lot to make me feel like I am eating something instead of being too crunchy and messy, or too smooth like a lot of energy bars are and then they stick to the roof of my mouth. I buy about 1 or 2 12-packs of these a month for 2 of us to share, and that seems to be about right. At less than $1 ea, it stops me from going out to eat breakfast elsewhere. (Okay, I know this isn't the most healthy breakfast, but it's not the worst, either.)
I love clif bars. I love them for breakfast, I love them on a hike. I love White Chocolate Macadamia Nut flavour the best (followed by Peanut Toffee Buzz). While they are on the drier side, they are still deliciously edible and they don't melt into a mess like my other favourite (sea salt and chocolate Kind bars.) They are a staple if I go on a long trek (along with the clif chews). I get them by the case when Amazon has a sale (and have averaged around $8.50 a case)
Nothing to dislike, it's a Cliff bar
You get what you pay for. These are great for a buck a shot. Lot's of good protein and metered sugars at around 200 calories for weight loss snack that's filling. Good for camping or work outs. I don't always buy them being on fixed income but I like them. Wish me luck.
Probably the best flavor of regular Clif bars I've tried and I've tried quite a few looking for one that I actually liked. Good balance of macro nutrients to keep you going on a hiking trail, or as a quick snack before the gym, which are the 2 reasons I bought these. They're not as "healthy" as some of the more expensive bars available but when you're hiking 15+ miles a day with a heavy pack the extra calories are a good thing so why pay double for less just because those expensive brands use some hip sounding ingredients?
