I've only used this machine for a week now but I am very impressed with it. I was used to using a Fujitsu scanner for many years and I think this machine is comparable, if not better. I downloaded the driver AND software (CaptureOn Touch V4 Pro) from the Canon website and it was install, plug in and go. Didn't even have to reboot! I think I like the software most, you set up your quick scan shortcuts, set the location to save and presto! But what I like most about it is you can edit the pdf before you save it (delete unnecessary pages etc). It auto detects size, color, orientation, etc, it's great! Was skeptical but very glad I purchased it in the end. Again, it's only been a week but I will update this review if things go south.
We had a Canon scanner at work that was going on 15 years of daily use and it still worked! We needed to upgrade just for speed and we chose to go with the very same company and class of scanner. This one has not disappointed and look forward to using it daily for another 15 years as well.
Product is good -took alittle to get the drivers to download correctly.
