I just cooked this meal after ordering from Amazon Fresh this weekend. First -- don't get confused into comparing this to HelloFresh, Blue Apron or Plated. This meal comes pre-portioned, pre-seasoned and pre-cut. All you have to do is throw the ingredients in the pan, unlike the others where you spend a great deal of time chopping. It really is a quick process. I followed the directions to a "t" and recommend braising on medium-low heat, not medium. Most of my sauce was burned to the bottom of the pan after 15 minutes of braising. Regardless, the polenta (which is boil-in-the-bag), fresh parmesan and chicken thighs were delicious. I recommend giving this a shot for a quick weeknight meal. And to portion size -- we had plenty of chicken for two with some left over but we used all of the polenta.
This was really tasty and quite easy! Arrived in a meal kit box with everything pre-portioned out. I have been intrigued by meal services like Blue Apron for a while but didn't want to commit to so many meals. So, I was happy to see Amazon venture into this space where I could get just one or two kits.
The directions card was very clear. The items in the box weren't all labeled but it was pretty obvious what everything was, though the unlabeled shaved Parmesan cheese threw me for a second. The directions worked quite well, with the small exception of the timing on softening the onions, which it said would take around 5 min and actually took more like 10. Very minor and I was only keeping track because I was trying to see how accurate the instructions were.
The food turned out delicious! The braised chicken was very tender and had a wonderful rich tomato flavor which contrasted really well with the mild, creamy polenta. When I make this again, I will likely shake in some red pepper flakes as it is braising to give it some heat. But I'll definitely be ordering again because we both liked it a lot - even got a compliment on my plating!
This was quite good and very easy to prepare. For the price and convenience, it's better than a Blue Apron dinner, but still on the pricier side IMO.
I'm very pregnant with no energy and a barely functioning brain. This was easy! Instructions were simple and I went from fridge to table in about 40 minutes. My husband and I both enjoyed the flavor.
So delicious EVERYONE in my family loved this, even the picky eaters!!!

Tyson Tastemakers California Sun-kissed Tomato Braised Chicken meal kit with all natural pre-seasoned meat, fresh sliced onions, creamy parmesan polenta, and an easy to follow recipe.
LOVED IT! Simple, easy, delicious and better sized portions than some of the other Tastemaker dishes. You probably won't have seconds or leftovers but when paired with a nice salad this makes a fabulous dinner for two.
This was by far my favorite meal to cook. Searing chicken was always hard for me because I smoke out the house, but the directions were easy and it came out PERFECT. I loved it and totally looked like a chef pro. The packaging is deceiving and made it look small so I panicked and made salad and sides beforehand and then had excess food for me and one guest. So don't freak out it's more than enough!
Have not taste it yet but.my daughter loved it
So easy and delicious!!!!
Tasty, complete, very enjoyable to a beginning cook.
