Upgraded to the Sport model from the regular Tile when it finally gave out. Like the fact that the alarm is louder on the Sport, plus the beefed-up cover will probably last longer than the regular Tile's exterior (it began to peel within weeks of use). The Tile has saved me, husband, and son all quite a bit of time looking for car keys - that, alone, is worth the purchase price. On a recent fishing trip, our son's keys worked out of his pocket as he & his dad were carrying their gear to their fishing spot. Dad was about to go into full-blown panic mode, as they were literally in the middle of a state park, miles from civilization. Kid used his phone with the Tile app to locate the keys as they retraced their steps - within 10 minutes, keys were found, car was loaded and they were on their way home. Tile saved the day!
Very awesome product! I use it on my dogs. Took me about 5 minutes to set up including downloading the app
I rarely gI've something 5 stars but this product is absolutely outstanding. The upgrades including increased range and volume were essential and I'm glad the manufacturer finally did it.
The number of times I've used this product to find missing components are far too many to mention. I have tagged my keys, wallet, expensive music components, computers, even a job site trailer.

nice, have tried these kinda things in past, but this one seems to work so far, others tried but fell short
I do not mind the battery as technology will probably be better by time runs out anyways with new bluetooth specks coming out
I will update as time goes on if any issues, but so far so good, even restarted my phone and after about a min without touching phone, a double tap on key device rang phone, so app properly starts in background, I am using a samsung s6
it does have the ability to track you, even with cell off if someone else walks by with app running it will report it to cloud control, so just something to be aware of, course if they walk by your lost item, it can report it to you as well
edit 12-2017 I upgraded my phone to pixel 2 and all tiles moved over easily, one issue I have is that tile require location service be on full battery mode vs battery saving mode... wish they would allow either

Getting old is not fun, my memory is not what it used to be and a few times I've misplaced my keys and I have ended up looking for them for hours. Then I heard about the Tile system. Over the weekend I purchased the Tile Sport, with the longer range and water proofing, and I figured I give it a try. Setting up is very easy, all you have to do is download the app and follow the instructions once the app is downloaded. It took me less than 3 minutes. As far as the reviews that Tile is getting regarding terrible customer service I have to give them 5 Stars. While renaming my Tile I accidentally "deleted" it from my phone and when I tried to reinstall it kept telling me that the Tile was already active and I could not reinstall, I panicked. I contacted Tile customer service via Live Chat and in less than one minute I was texting with Maiq. He was very courteous and professional during our "conversation". He not only solved my problem, but provided very useful pointers on the use and settings of the Tile. It turns out that I didn't delete the Tile I just hid it and he showed me how to unhide it.
The bottom line is that so far I am giving Tile 5 Stars. The Tile works as expected/solves my problem finding my keys and my experience with their customer service so far, contrary to other reviews, is as good or better than other companies I have dealt with in the past.
LoL! Purchased this device approx 3 weeks ago...So far, it's found my misplaced keys and/or cell phone at least a half a dozen times. Within that little amount of time, just to imagine the time I've saved, without any cuss words said is worth its weight in gold. Can't wait till Tile makes a tracker small enough for my eyeglasses!

Great product. I put them on my black cat so I can find him when he is hiding. I like how they are waterproof. I also put one hidden on my daughters bike.
I think there are limitations on exaclty how useful this product is BUT I never like checking bags when I fly. I take a couple of ski trips a year and this requires checking bags and they ain't too keen on slapping my pow-boards in the overhead compartment so I gotta check 'em. What's great is that you can jam the tile in your bag, and then when you're on the plan you can locate it to make sure it's with you through connections and such. It's worked great for me in giving me peace of mind. NOW, if the thing doesn't make it onto your connecting flight there's only SO much you can do to recover your missing luggage- but at least you KNOW the last place it was near you- so that's . . .something, right?!?!
We have been using tiles for years now and I can't tell you the number of times that they have helped us out! I love that the newer versions allow you to not only find your keys if they go missing, but also allow you to ring your phone through the tile if your phone, in fact, goes missing!
