My 1 year old son loves remotes. We searched our entire house (along eith multiple other people) for 2 weeks searching for our original remote. The day after receiving this one in the mail, we found the original. Inside of a ziplock freezer bag box.
But, this one works great and now we have an extra in case our little houdini strikes again.
So... I really enjoy having my Samsung Smart TV. I was displeased when my kids were too rough and broke my remote.
My kids shared last week, "MOM, the remote doesn't work anymore."
I calmly asked, "Did you change the batteries?"
I get a short, "Yessssss, mom." Husband later tells me, "Your dang kids broke the remote."
I said "No biggie, they are not too bad priced on Amazon." I ordered it, it arrived approximately 13 minutes ago. I placed my old batteries to just check real quick in the new remote. The damn thing would not work either. So now, I'm thinking the tv is being lame.... then I decide to go grab new batteries. old remote just needed batteries, just to be sure. Just like magic, I now have a functional spare and original remote. 😂
Smaller than original, works great. Glad I purchased it. Was starting to wear off some of the images on the buttons of the original. I actually like this one better.
I've owned my Samsung smart TV for about 4 years and have several problems with it. Within the first 15 months I had to have the power cord replaced and it was a struggle with Samsung to get that taken care of. A month ago, I suddenly started having issues out of the blue with the E-Guide suddenly appearing and not going away. Even after changing the batteries in the remote and working with Samsung tech support nothing seemed to resolve the issue. My TV is now 4 years old and i didn't want to replace it Tech support didn't suggest a new remote. I didn't figure it was the remote until I took it with to try on my mother's tv. It did nothing. I then tried it on some TV's in my local BJ's and the same error suddenly appeared on the screens. I decide on buying this one because I didn't want to try dealing with Samsung directly. So far it seems to be working well and it fixed the problem. It's exactly the remote I had to replace.
Lost our original Tv remote and This was our saving grace! It is an exact replica of our old one !

Super easy to use and connected immediatly. I am not really great with electronics and devices. So for me to be able to use this and set it up when we lost our remote makes me very happy. This is an amazing price and I am thinking of buying another for when the kids lose it again. Great replacement.
This works great without any setup. Just point at the TV and Vavoom it is set up. Can't ask for a better remove than this. One of my Samsung TVs has no remote - it was lost and even the cable didn't work well with it - now I have one that works so I'm happy.
Works great! We are using it on our older (2006) Samsung TV, and it also works on our new (2016) Ultra HD Samsung TV too! Inexpensive solution to the "where's the remote?" dilemma! Now we have 2 remotes for each TV.
I lost my remote and needed a quick replacement(this remote is the exact same as the one I lost that came with the t.v. So you know it's legit) but all I had to do was put 2 AA batteries in and boom it automatically worked with my Samsung tv. I'm sure it'd work with most Samsung the out there
