Easily provides network coverage for all our household devices (20+). The router provided by our telecommunication provider could not handle all the connected devices such that WiFi would randomly be dropped leading to frustration. Overall this unit is highly recommended. Setup was a bit tricky but after a few attempts it worked perfectly.
Recommended by WireCutter, this turned out to be wonderful. Superfast excellent connection throughout my quite large home. Excellent software which walked me through the installation process, and very smartly sorted through my internet connection to help me hook up the cables and get me online quickly.
The R7000P is a great product. Took about 25 minutes to get everything setup as it replaced a Netgear 6400 as the primary WiFi router for streaming. Improved wireless throughput and signal strength overall. Many built-in features and functions including partnering with Bitdefender as a Security enhancement. Already had the Bitdefender account and service.
Love this router. I purchased it because you can still use DD WRT or Tomato firmware. Stock firmware has auto upgrade functionality which is great feature
The router only took a little time for the initial set up, but as our house has some dead spots I needed to pair the unit with a Netgear nighthawk mesh extender and that was a bit more complicated and I had to use the Netgear tech team on the phone to do that for me. Now for the first time since living in this house, we have super fast wifi internet connection in every room.

Easy set up and use of the router. No fuss and the nighthawk app is a breeze to use and work with.
Installed about a week ago. Strong signal throughout ~2500 sq. ft. house. MASSIVE improvement for video and audio streaming (Google Hangouts) over previously installed Cisco e4200. No more dropped packets.
Web interface is classic Netgear = NG = Not Good. But it gets the job done. You can disable/opt out of all the nanny junk.

Super easy setup. Sometimes the app is a bit quirky but it eventually comes through. Very pleased.
