I tried these cornichons as part of a raclette cheese grouping and now, am stuck on them. Our local Safeway had them and I drove the 20 miles to get them, only to find they were out more times than not!! So Sad!! I got panicked and now, Amazon's my go-to for these must have pickles. The juice is good in a dirty martini too!! Cut the cornichons up and they're divine in deviled eggs. They've got just the perfect vinegar that no one else has. I save the brine and stuff the jar with new baby cucs and make another round of cutie pickles. Do I love these pickles?? Forever! Ordering a case next time.
These are the perfect accompaniment to rich cheeses: the right size, the right amount of tart bite. Add charcuterie for a party, or a no-cook dinner.
I love this brand of cornichons. They aren't too sweet or too salty, and the went perfectly with my Chicken Liver Mousse. I really feel the need to have a jar of these in the pantry at all times.
