I eat these when I am craving something in the mid morning. They taste great and fill me up. I also take by Biotek Nutrition – Weight Loss Aid Diet Pill Blocks the Absorption of Carbs and Fats because this carb blocker will allow me to cheat now and then without feeling super guilty. I find that allows me to stay on track with my diet.
I've been a fan of Kind bars a few years now. Almond coconut is my favorite, and one bar satisfies my appetite for a few hours. My only complaint is that every now and then a bar will have a very strong taste of soap. And it's not subtle, folks. Same effect as sticking your head under a dispenser and plugging your mouth full of industrial-grade suds. First time I thought it was a fluke, but it's been consistent the past several months--some Kind bars taste like Irish Spring. At least it's soap and not something worse, like gym socks or poop, right? I don't know if there's a contamination issue at the manufacturing level or what. I'd love to know if anyone else has this experience, or if I'm growing a brain tumor.
I LOVE these bars! I discovered them when I was pregnant with my second and chasing around a crazy 1.5 year old. As you can imagine I would focus on making sure he was eating and had everything he needed that I'd forgot to pack snacks for myself. I started buying these by the box and load up my purse and diaper bag. I do like that they are healthier than other bars. I don't feel guilty giving some to my son. The almonds are very filling and the honey and coconut gives it the perfect sweet taste. I plan to continue to make these a staple in my diaper bags and purse. I highly recommend these snacks!
We are very busy people in this household so to have something we can just grab and go that is healthy is a must. I love the way these bars taste and there's just enough crunch to them to satisfy that need to crunch. This is my favorite flavor, because anything with coconut is a plus for me. I also like nuts for the protein and of course dark chocolate is a definite plus. I really need to stock up on these because my pantry is empty! They taste great, they are satisfying and they keep me full until I can get to a real meal. Sometimes they ARE my meal, but at least I know I'm getting something healthy into my body. They have some sugar but I don't feel like I'm overdoing it with the sugar.
I buy them for kids. They usually don't like "nutrition" bars- they are hungry and in a hurry, they don't like to choke down a grain-type bar that requires a lot of water or liquid to get it down. These bars are great because there's no grain involved. It's just a delightful blend of dried fruit and crunchy toasted almonds- a bit of a tang to balance out the sweetness. Not TOO dry- still moist, chewy, crunchy, and very delicious.
This, I look forward to- and in a pinch, it makes a tasty dessert- healthier than lots of other things.
Glad to buy them directly from Amazon delivered at home.

Description
These bars are where our journey started and it was simple: whole ingredients like nuts, mixed with fruits and spices bound together with honey.
So delicous. I have to order online, since every store in my rural community is always sold out. Obviously, everyone seems to love this flavor, since it is the only flavor that is always sold out. Chocolate gives me migraines, so the almond/coconut is perfect for my sweet tooth!
UPDATE: This is my second order -- the product was shipped in the hot Mississippi summer, and when I got it off of my doorstep and opened the package the ingredients were all melted to one side of the bar. They just don't taste right!!! :( I don't know how Walmart keeps them tasting good, because I know they are shipped in the heat as well. Maybe refrigerated trucks? I won't order these again until the weather cools, because it ruined them.
I've tried a lot of the Kind Bars and really like most of them. The Fruit & Nut, Almond & Coconut is one of my favorites. It may have something to do with the fact that I really like coconut. As with most Kind Flavors, these aren't overly sweet which I appreciate when trying to lose weight and not overeat, because they don't give my that blood sugar spike that a lot of energy bars give which end up making me want to keep eating. The ingredients are: Almonds, Honey, Shredded Coconut, Coconut Chips, Glucose, Puffed Rice, Chicory Fiber, Soy Lecithin. They are 190 calories each in case you're counting. They're a good snack that actually has some protein and other nutrients, fat too, but it keeps me feeling full and satisfied longer than eating a conventional candy bar that's all sugar and flavoring. I can see why these bars are so popular.
The KIND Almond & Coconut bar is one of my favorite snacks. It is always refreshing and the coconut makes it taste fresh for me. None of the flavors are over-powering and the almonds add a nice crunch to the soft bar.
The bars are all natural with 0g cholesterol, low sodium (25 mg), low sugar (12 g) and 3g each of protein and fiber. The 190 calories are a good mid-meal snack and it has become a replacement snack for me.
I eat about 5 bars a week and have still not grown tired with this flavor combination. The 1-Star deduction is for the glucose syrup.
Highly Recommended!
These are delicious - which I was not expecting at all. I needed something for an "on the go" breakfast and figured these would be a good choice, since they're pretty okay for you (170 calories, 12g sugar, 3g protein) and aren't full of garbage. I figured at best, they would taste okay - maybe like a simpler tasting cliff bar.
I was completely blown away by how tasty these are. I'm occasionally tempted to eat more than one since they're so good. The coconut tastes fresh, even though it's obviously pressed or dried - it doesn't have that weird old oil taste that many items that containing dried or pressed coconut have. The bars are also slightly chewy and not very salty, which is particularly nice, since it doesn't leave me parched.
I now have a subscription to get a box of these bars per month - it's a pretty good price for the bars (they're more expensive in most stores). I'd highly recommend these!
