I rated each and every capsule down to the last one!
Before you read my ratings it's important to note that different people enjoy different flavors of coffee. This is just according to my personal tastes! I like to drink coffee black to get the full flavor of the coffee alone so obviously if you mix it with cream, milk, sugar or other added flavorings it will taste a lot different.
Now... MY RATINGS (listed from best to worst):
1. Laughing man - Dukale’s Blend medium roast: Probably the best medium roast coffee I’ve ever had.
2. Green Mountain - Colombian Select Medium Roast: Another really good medium roast here.
3. Caribou - Caribou Blend: Delicious. These guys apparently just make good coffee :)
4. Caribou - Daybreak: Delicious.
5. Rev - No Surrender: Very Good!
6. Tully’s - Italian Roast: Pretty good.
7. Gloria Jeans Hazlenut: Don’t normally like flavored coffees but this one is pretty good! Watch out though, I got a little bit of heartburn/indigestion from drinking this one.
8. Newman’s Own - Special Blend Medium Roast: Good but not as good as the above medium roasts.
9. Newman’s French Roast: Pretty good.
10. Donut Shop - Regular: This one’s actually better than I expected. Not bad at all.
11. Donut Shop - Dark: Also not bad! Way to go Donut shop.
12. Cinnabon - Classic Cinnamon Roll: Again, don’t normally do a lot of flavored coffees but this one was decent!
13. Green Mountain Medium Blend: Tastes ok.
14. Tully’s Hawaiian blend: Ok.
15. Gloria Jean’s - Butter Toffee: I guess it’s not horrible, it’s just not my kind of coffee.
16. Green Mountain Coffee, Dark Magic: Getting into the just ok but not so great ones.
17. Laughing man - Colombia Huila Dark Roast: Meh. Didn’t really care for this one.
18. Laughing Man Dark Roast: Ok but not the greatest.
19. Krispy Kreme Smooth: Now getting into the just bad ones. I always used to think their in-store coffee was just old but nope, it apparently comes pre-olded… It just taste like old coffee.
20. Kahlua Original - Light Roast: I personally think this one is disgusting. It might even be the worst coffee I've ever had. I couldn’t drink more than a couple of sips before throwing the rest out (I tried both capsules just in case). It just tastes like maple syrup… like drinking straight up liquid syrup out of a bottle. If you absolutely LOVE pancake syrup then you might be able to stomach this one. Otherwise… avoid.
Thanks to this Variety pack, I now know which ones I'm ordering next! I'm ordering the top 5 in this list so that I'll still have some variety from day to day but It'll just be the good ones :)
LOVED the adventure of this variety pack though! It's well worth the money (maybe except for that nasty Kahlua one) and it'll give you a ton of variety from day to day/morning to morning! Before this I was just trying K-cups 1-by-1 but it was taking forever and if I didn't like one... welp... I was stuck with it till I ran out. So yeah, this variety back was amazing :)
Also worth noting that mine came with exactly 2 of each. I see other reviews on here saying that some were missing or mixed up. Maybe they've gotten better at quality control? Either that or I was just lucky.
Anyway, hope this is helpful to someone else out there!
As an assorted box, the pods come tossed together (no dividers) inside the shipping box, which is expected, and (if you like surprises) it has the added benefit of being a "mystery bag" so you can try a new flavor each time you dive in. The flavors are great, but you'll find some to be more your style than others as you get through them all. That being said, they're all good quality products so if you enjoy k-cups or are looking for a new flavor then this is a fairly cheap/convenient way to try a bunch of new pods without committing to a full box. (Shoutout to Revv and Newman for giving me two new favorites!).
The only reason I can't give this a full 5 stars is that my shipment was missing 4 pods (2 Green Mountain Dark Magic, and 2 Newman's French Roast). It's a minor issue, but you'd be letdown too if someone said they're taking away nearly a full business week's worth of coffee from you! It also makes it so that each pod is really worth $0.70 instead of the advertised amount, which again isn't much, but it does add up to four days of missing coffee :(
I am a barista and I can understand how some people like fresh ground coffee. It probably tastes a lot better, but frankly, I don't give a damn.
The reason I bought a Keurig is that I love coffee and one of my biggest inconveniences in the morning is making my coffee. I know that sounds ridiculous but I'm already tired and I just want my day to be simple.
I love the variety and that I don't have to finish an entire pound of coffee before trying something new. This is also really good for new Keurig customers to find the kind of coffee you like best. It's also nice if you live with others and you can both try something new each day.
I've enjoyed just about everything I've had a chance to try in the last few weeks. This set really helped me shape what kinds of coffee I like with my Keurig and what is less my personal taste, which was exactly what I was hoping for.
This k-cup sampler pack was part of a Black Friday bundle with the purchase of a Keurig coffee maker at an incredible price. Since I bought the Keurig for the work place, I went through the variety of k-cups (2 pods of each variety) kept what were my favorites and took the rest to work. It actually was one the the best varieties in an assortment pack I have seen. I like the dark roasts and this assortment had a nice blend of dark, medium and light/breakfast blends. Was very impressed.

Description
K-Cup Coffee Lover's Variety Sampler, Keurig Single-Serve Coffee, 40 Count
Got in a deal package where I purchased both this and a Keurig. Awesome Variety. For whatever reason, my favorite flavor "Cinnabon Classic Cinnamon Roll" only had one pod in the pack and I got three of another variety instead. Wouldn't mind except the label specifically said two of each and the one missing happens to be the best one! Took off one star just for this reason. Not sure how to let the seller know other than writing a review.
I am new to K-cups coffee. I bought a flex brew machine that accommodates pods and my own ground coffee. I drank my way through this box and another variety type box. This is a great way to try out coffee without having to buy a half pound bag only to find out you don’t care for that coffee. I liked all the brands in the box, though the variety isn’t exactly as pictured. That however didn’t matter to me.
Concurrently I drank coffee from another variety box I found in a grocery store. That box was fine, too, though one type of coffee was LOVE IT! That brand is called “Seattle’s Best”. I then bought a 12 oz bag of Seattle’s Best.
For true taste testing, I used one of the K-cup pods as my first cup, and made my second cup using my own coffee, Seattle’s Best. I continued this experiment for the next 2 weeks until all K-cups were gone. My second cup made of my own coffee won out every time!
The machine I’m using is Hamilton Beach, which I bought here on Amazon. It’s working great for me, small profile and easy to handle. I love having a fresh cup of coffee every time, and it’s done in a snap!
I just bought a Mr. Coffee Keurig and was looking for a good choice of coffee samples with no funky flavors. It has a very nice selection of good coffees. I don't care for Cinnabon, but whenever you get a sampler, you need to expect that a couple won't suit your taste. Every day I look forward to trying a new flavor.
I bought this variety pack for my brother when he recently bought his first ever Keurig coffee machine. He hs loved the variety pack. It has helped him decide what he really likes (and what he likes a little less). There is a great mix of light, medium and dark roast, and flavored and unflavored coffees. He has kept a scoresheet, and he and I have had several great discussions about his experience with the different coffees. Before his Keurig, he drank only instant coffee. He is loving life, and coffee, a lot more these days.
When I saw this variety pack of bold kcup coffee in the Amazon warehouse section for only 10.50, I jumped on the deal to explore some different brands. I had already been a Green Mountain Dark Magic loyalist and knew that if everything else was not tasty, at least the package came with a good variety of Green Mountain options, including Dark Magic. So I did a sampling of the non GM brands first. Of the options, I was mostly pleased with the Newman's Choice offerings only. Revv was too strong, Tullie’s was too weak, Laughing Man tasted like brown water, and the Caribou blends were decent but nothing special. If anything, I discovered a blend of Green Mountain which I plan to buy more of, Green Mountain Sumatran which was superb. If anything, this variety pack is a good investment to help discover what's good and not so good. But then again, everyone is different.
