Fujifilm Instax Square Twin Pack Film - 20 Exposures

Fujifilm Instax Square Twin Pack Film - 20 Exposures

I like that this film develops relatively quickly and is pretty consistent. I do wish they would release an instant film with a bit more "pop" to the color though. That would be great if they could emulate the look of old kodachrome in an instant format.

I am primarily printing iPhone X and M43 photos (Panasonic g85 and LX100). I use the auto filter and only slightly adjust the sliders. I am impressed and this is so much fun. I am building photo albums now and I couldn't be happier.

Color film looks good in Black and White? Yup! I am using the SP-3 printer and printed a few in Black and White just to see... I am impressed. Not only can the film handle color nicely, it has the goods if you go monochrome.

Nice!

I have taken a couple hundred photos using this film and I can say that it is generally okay but as some reviewers say, the images at times come out overexposed. There is defintely a learning curve to learn how to set the few filters and such in a way that your image will not come out too dark. I am still trying to figure out what is the Bulb function? I have gotten a lot of comments about the camera and the ability to do double exposures. Those are quite fun but also you have to remember to lighten it more than you think.

Pros: instant images that can be manipulated. Small size is great but we need a better carrying book or bag that will keep the images safe.

Cons: Just like with most films, if you are taking photos of differing skin tones, always light for the darkest skin tone otherwise that dark-skinned person will be a black blob on your image. At times, film gets stuck in the film casing and will not eject and you wind up losing a whole pack of film because you need to remove the packet in order to remove the stuck print.

Suggestions to Fujifilm Instax. This is a great novice camera and I love that it is a hybrid camera. I would work on image quality more, including better control of how exposure affects your image. Perhaps a light meter reader would be ideal? What do we do with film that is stuck in its casing? Can we return it back to Fujifilm for a new pack? I have the SQ 10 and it's very difficult to hold. Any plans on putting handles on the side or better gripping system? Why can't we put a filter on our cameras for special effects, like a polarizer? Why is there so much trouble with photographing blue things? It is always either washed out or too dark.

This film isn't going to turn out perfect professional prints. As long as you have that realistic expectation, this ends up being really fun. It does take a little experimenting to know what to expect in a final print. Color takes a little more playing around to get something decent compared to B&W. Anything dark is going to go black. Stuff that's close to white is going to go white. But I do have a nice collection of printed images.

Really good value of its price for the quantity, i really saved alot buying from this packages, than individually. Everything worked, each of the package worked as it should, i liked for the price and it was excelent no issues. I liked more this versions that are square for versions 3 printers, so be careful it wont work for versions 2-1 printers

Description

With INSTAX SQUARE film rising in popularity, INSTAX SQUARE Film is now available in a twin pack (20 shots)! INSTAX SQUARE Twin Pack film can be used with the INSTAX SQUARE SQ10, INSTAX SHARE SP-3 Smartphone Printer, INSTAX SQUARE SQ6 and any Fujifilm Instax Square camera or printer.

The value is the best out of all the different options. Between the 3 pack of 20 pics, and the 5 pack of 20 pics, this one is cheaper in price. The picture quality isn't as clear as I'd like, but that's also part of the instant film experience, I guess. At least, that's what I've heard from other more experienced photographer.

Very easy to use! Simply take off the foil wrapper and align the yellow tab on the film with the yellow tab on the camera. Once pushed in, close the door to the camera, and the film solely will release a black plastic, which means the film is ready to use ( the camera does not need to be on in order for this to happen). Film is about the same height of the fujifilm instax mini camera but wider and square shaped. Rating this a 4 star for the only reason that the image, although good saturation and lighting on the camera, has usually come out very bright/light and fuzzy. Images are definitely not high quality on the film.

Fuji's square Instax film looks almost like the vintage Polaroid pix,so there is a nostalgic feel to it. It is also good to see other camera manufacturers adopt Fuji film for maximum fun.

I purchased the Instax SQ6 camera and after a lot of researching on the best price, I decided on purchasing these and I was not disappointed. I did check the expiration date and it was 01/2020 so I was pleased about that, there’s 2 packs of 10 films/exposures in each pack. I mentioned above about this being the best option, price wise because it was a few dollars cheaper than it was at Walmart or Best Buy.

Great quality! If you're a first time buyer like I was don't expect this to be as big as a Polariod 600 photo, it's more of a mini version of that. Still super cute and I'm in love!
