First of all, I'm very picky and serious about BM and BM mixes. If given the time, I would much rather make myself with celery salt, pepper, Worcester, Franks hot sauce, limes and lime juice, a sprinkle of peprica and Titos. Not big on horseradish. What's most important about my mix is Campbells Tomato juice. The store brands just don't cut it. Well, I was very hesitant to purchase this but did. I was in a hurry. We were on our way to a quick fall vacation. I knew that on Saturday morning someone would yell, "when can we expect some of Jay's famous BMs". So I needed something quick and easy to use. On Sat, the words were heard, so the mix was called to action. Got out the glasses, ice and Tito's and got to work. Cut the lines, got the pepperoni, toothpicks and got ready to create the magic. Oh no! To my surprise, the only juice available was Standard V8 juice. I literally was on an island in the 1000 Island Area of NYS. 4 miles by boat from the nearest grocery store. No stores, no way to get off and no Campbells juice in sight! Ugh! Now to the review of the mix. I still working on the ratio of ice, vodka and mix. Let me tell you,this mix makes one of the best BM that I've ever had. Look, no one offer me anything for this review. I received no free mixes, money or free lines. If your interested in these kinds of mixes, you're a serious BM consumer and will appreciate this review. Not sure about the 64 glasses that they claim. I like mine a bit spicy and good bodied. BTW, I would have accepted any of the above. The V8, due to its saltiness works great and would recommend its use with the Dimetri's mix. As soon as I'm done with this review I'm buying another bottle. I'm favoring 3 tablespoons per glass for the mix. Makes sure if you purchase it that you shake the heck out of it. Yummmmmmy yum yum. No more adding horseradish and worcestershire and Tabasco and lemon juice and pickle juice and pepper and all that other stuff. 1/2 oz of this with a shot of vodka and tomato juice and you're good to go.
Delicious. I had been making my own with horseradish and all the ingredients but this is so much better. It has that savory quality that makes a Bloody Mary so good. I made it like the package says-a quart of tomato juice and 2oz of this. Then I made my drink with 4oz of the mixture and 2oz ketel one. Shook it with ice in a stainless shaker and I had a perfect Bloody Mary. Exactly what I was looking for.
This product literally makes the best bloody Caesar, bloody Mary, and red beer in the world. Totally worth the money and you will never have to mix your own product again. I highly suggest using club motto juice instead of tomato juice with a couple splashes of this product in your bloody Mary's and bloody Caesar. It elevates this drink to the max. Rim glass glass with a little bit of celery salt add ice, Give to her three squirts of Dimitrioriginal and add the rest of the junkie love to your bloody Caesar and bloody Mary. The best!
This stuff is the B E S T! Its SO expensive to buy in stores, almost twice the price on Amazon. It's super easy, you put 2oz of this mix into 8oz of your favorite tomato juice and BAM, you have the most delicious bloody mary mix. I did find this product in Safeway, Total Wine, and also URM, but Amazon has the best price deal for sure.

This is as good as it gets! Here's my recipe using Demitri's Classic Bloody Mary Mix:
For 2 servings, I use a 16-oz OXO shaker and mix the following:
• 11.5 oz can of V8 Original low sodium (or substitute with R.W. Knudson tomato juice or Clamato juice)
• 1 Tablespoon Demitri's Classic Bloody Mary Mix
• 3 ounces SKYY Vodka (or Absolut Peppar, or other filtered/preferred vodka)
• Freshly ground course black pepper (a couple twists, about 1/4 teaspoon)
• Squeeze of a fresh lemon wedge (plus rim the glass)
Shake ingredients well with 1 ice cube in shaker and pour in 2 glasses filled with ice and rimmed with coarse sea salt, bacon salt, or ancho chili powder. Optionally add a celery stick, cooked bacon slice, and/or skewer with olives, lemon wedge, and cooked shrimp.
YES!!!! One of our favorite bars in Wilmington, NC used to use this seasoning in their bloody mary's, but they discontinued it a few months ago. So glad to find this on Amazon! This one bottle for less than $15 makes 64 bloody mary's! This is by far THE BEST Bloody Mary seasoning EVER!
After years of trying and even buying private recipes for Bloody Marys, I have to say this mix has it all... I was originally going to try this version 1st and then probably move on till I found which Demitri's mix was my favorite.... After my first drink with 2 small squirts of this stuff, I knew what people meant by, "A little bit goes a long way"... I retreated with one squirt in my 2nd drink...I love the taste of tabasco in my Bloody Marys, so i sink a couple drops in on top, but it really needs nothing...I'm hooked, this stuff is a "one stop shop!"
Used this stuff for years. Can't buy it locally otherwise I would. Pretty expensive this way. BUT worth it! Demitri's is awesome! Strong, great flavor! I used to use it for bloody marys, and it was perfect for that, but I now use it as a meat marinade. It is perfect on steak. If you like a spicy Worcestershire like flavor, you will love this. Has a lot going on in it.
I love this mix! I work at a restaurant and this is the same mix we use for our Mary’s that are a favorite at brunch for our guests! At home, we’ve added it to marinades and have even tossed vegetables in it before roasting, and we regularly add it to vegetable smoothies for an extra kick. It’s a great go to ready made mix!
