Great printer for the price. Been seeing some negative reviews and I'm here to say mine came in great working order. Simple set up if your even a computer novice. Love that i can, control from my phone. Its a bit loud printing, bit its under 50 dollars, you cant expect all that. Its perfect for a student who needs to print/scan/copy quickly and efficiently,
This is a great All-In-One printer. I like that I can use black ink all by itself. I see no reason to waste colored ink when I'm only printing documents in black. I have another Canon printer but it wasted colored ink because I couldn't print with black alone. This is a waste of money. If you want to print only in black & save colored ink for special needs, then this is the printer to buy. It was very easy to set up too.
This small printer puts out amazing, sharp color images and crisp black text. It is a bit noisy, but for the quality of the product I put up with it. I had no problems setting up wireless and cloud printing (Android OS on two phones, wireless from my Dell Laptop with Windows 10 and wireless from a desktop running Windows 7). Sometimes, however, over wireless, I had to walk upstairs to it and wake it up when printing from the laptop or phone. Scanning was sharp and colors stayed true. I printed both glossy photos and matte, and all turned out fantastically. Photos do eat a lot of ink when printing high quality images but for the sharpness and color it's worth it.
I would buy this printer again if I didn't have a small business to run out of my home. I killed this printer, so to speak, by overworking it. In a year I ran close to 10,000 copies, color and b&w, and nearly 500 4x6 or 5x7 glossy and matte photos out of it.
SO, if you're a 'casual' printer, this one really is a great way to go. If you plan on printing a lot of stuff, I wouldn't recommend it.
I needed to upgrade my old printer and wanted to get something without all the cords. Found this very reasonably priced wireless printer and I really like it. Very easy to set up and worked the first time with hardly any effort on my part. I've always been a fan of Canon products and this one did not let me down. Highly recommend it.
The print quality is very good. I never owned an all-in-one, as I preferred smaller printers. My trusty 12 year old Canon printer's printhead failed when I needed to print my taxes. PANIC! I purchased this for it's apparent value. I don't find it to be too noisy, maybe a even bit quieter than my old printer. The old printer used cheaper ink tanks that I refilled. The printhead and ink cartridge are integrated and this adds to the operating cost unless you refill them. It has more features than I currently need but it can copy and scan, so I can get rid of my scanner that won't work with newer computers. It can also work well with older versions of Windows. Unlike my old Canon, this printer must have the color cartridge installed. I can't comment on it's wireless operation as I use a USB cable. In the future I plan on setting up cloud printing for my chromebook. It is nice to have those possibilities.
On one PC I downloaded the printer software off of the Canon website. On another, I used the included CD. It did not seem to matter either way, at least for the USB connection.

Wireless All-In-One Printer with Scanner and Copier: Mobile and Tablet Printing with Airprint and Google Cloud Print compatible
This huge thing is the best all in one printer I've owned. I scanned a coloring book to test it and, it captures the bright vibrant colors perfectly. It was worth the $28 price tag.
NOTE
It's VERY important that you install the cd on your pc first. It gives you specific instructions on how to operate it for the first time with Bluetooth. The manual will NOT give you that information.
This review isn't about the one that I just bought it is about the one it replaced (Same exact product though). I had it for about 3 years before the power button quit working. I use it at work for scanning and making some copies and I worked it hard, over the course of time I've put 1000's of scans through it and it trudged on and never let me down. So when it came time to replace it I didn't even look at other options, this is the only one I wanted. At this price point it has to be the best value out there for what it does. Highly recommended.
I bought the Canon MG3620 printer because it's inexpensive and has the features I need. Consumer Reports calls this model a Best Buy, with a rating of "excellent" for both convenience and scan quality and an overall rating of "very good."
In my home office I have the printer connected by a USB cable to my desktop computer, so I've avoided problems with Wi-Fi described by some reviewers. The printer is compact enough to fit in the space available on the desk. The white color is attractive. So far, everything is working just as it should - no problems at all. I am very happy with this printer.
Many reviewers on Amazon give the printer only one star. This worried me until I realized that there are similar one-star reviews for comparable printers of all other makes, not just Canon. Just look and you'll see. On the New York Times thewirecutter.com website, the page about all-in-one printers states "All printers are disappointing, particularly color all-in-ones . . . No printer is free of rough edges, whether they come in the form of paper jams, software glitches, clogged printheads, or flaky Wi-Fi."
One of the complaints I've seen is that paper sheets slide off the top tray after going through the printer. I don't think this is a problem if the directions are followed: pull out the extension on the top tray; on the bottom tray that holds the unprinted paper, swivel out the extension and lift up the flap at the end of this extension.
As for complaints about the high cost of ink cartridges, this is how Canon (as well as other manufacturers) makes up for the low cost of the printer. I have no problem with this. If, in time, my printer fails I'll just replace it with another - at $44 it's a steal!
3/1/18 Just received my Pixma MG3620. Setup was easy for the HP computer using the install cd. Setup for iphone was even easier with the App. It was packaged and taped nicely to protect all of the exterior of the printer. Have been catching up on files saved to print and printing all my sheets out. It works great. I only do one or two pages at a time, so I just print and forget it. It does have a bit of noise, but is not bothersome. Comes out nicely copied or printed in black or color. This printer did come with one ink cartridge of each, black and color. I like the white exterior color of the printer. Could not tell in the online pics that the top is gray. Love seeing the Canon name. I'm hoping that going forward this will be a really great printer based on being a Canon!
I have had no problems. Set up was a bit time consuming, but straight forward and trouble free.
Operation has been flawless so far. None of the paper feed issues many have mentioned. The Android Print App works well on my tablet though could be a bit more robust in options. Fine for straight printing though.
Fuller choices on The Windows driver on my laptop, so do more complex tasks there.
Print qualty is decent though not exceptional, but for $39 was not expecting perfection, just a day to day printer..
I like the wake up from sleep pwer saving option too, the start up from sleep is surprisingly quick too. Page is usually finished by the time I walk from bedroom to printer off living room
