Apple iPad Air (10.5-inch, Wi-Fi, 64GB) - Silver

Apple iPad Air (10.5-inch, Wi-Fi, 64GB) - Silver

I wrote this review because I can.

This is my third Air and I LOVE this model — and wonder why it’s not FLYING off the (virtual) Amazon shelves! A little less than my Pro, more than the 6th-gen iPad, this is the best in-between model available, I believe. Don’t bother with the 64gig model — the 256 WiFi is the base to shoot for (in the years that I’ve had cell services, I’ve found that I measured the times used over one year in minutes — I did the math & found that I was overpaying for possible, rather than actual, use).

Works well with my 1st gen Pencils — FAST, light and a genuine pleasure to use. I’ve three current iPads and this is my favorite daily use model!

Upgraded from an iPad Air (2nd generation). Had to send back the original iPad Air 10.5 I had shipped to me as the battery was experiencing numerous issues. Within three days I got a replacement and this device is amazing. You are missing out on a lot of the features that the 2017 iPad Pro had (since this body is nearly identical to the 2017 iPad Pro), including the additional two top speakers and the Pro Motion, however with the A12 chip in this iPad, you’re device is honestly future proof and can expect a few years of iOS support. All-in-all, I think this is a great device that is priced fairly for those not wanting to sell an ark and a leg for the newer 2018 iPad Pro’s. Would recommend getting a case on this ASAP if you’re planning on making the jump.

Apple Pencil support is a nice welcome as well. Only 1st generation will work which is a bummer but the 2nd generation physically can’t work with this model. Likely Apple cleaning their warehouse trying to sell their older products. Regardless, the 1st gen Apple Pencil still holds up and works magic on this iPad.

If you’re wanting an iPad that can run like a Pro device but willing to sacrifice a few features, I’d highly recommend this iPad. Perfect midrange iPad for most consumers.

It's an iPad that replaced my 2nd gen iPad that wouldn't do all my apps anymore. I like the extra storage so I can load up on movies & audio books before travel. Definitely faster than old iPad when it comes to apps I use for work. Battery life, not so great. With the old iPad I charged it maybe once a week, maybe 5 days. This one is requiring full charge every 3rd day. I don't know if that's because the processing is faster or the graphics are better, but it is disappointing. Other than that, I'm happy with it.

This is a great tablet. It’s fast and the battery lasts a long time. My only issue is a small one, and that’s that the bezels are so narrow that I find my fingers accidentally touching the screen and causing some unwanted action. Usually popping up a context menu.

Best service ever . iPad Air is the best tablet I could ever bought from Expercom , this iPad is faster than any other iPad, I’m loving it

IPads have come a long ways since I started using my Gen 4 iPad a few years ago. This iPad Air 3 is smooth, quick and probably has more features than I’ll ever use for years to come. It will really come in handy this NFL season when I’m watching games on television while keeping tabs on other scores on the web. Lightweight, keeps great battery life and resolution is noticeably sharper.

It's an iPad, so I expected a good product. I had a third gen iPad a few years back, but it couldn't handle the newer iOS. I wanted to use an iPad to display my song sheets when I play and sing at church instead of paper ones. Having a back-lit screen really helps my old eyes! I also use it for Bible study and reading, same reason...old eyes vs small print! I had a good experience setting up the iPad, using my iPhone back-up on my iTunes/MacBook Pro. I highly recommend it for travel, reading and light computer work.

Got this to replace an aging ipad, so far it is exactly the same, just with a different name and newer CPU. Not blazing fast, but after all, what do you do on an ipad, beside art stuff, notes and productivity? Some may enjoy games on it, but to be honest, that's not what I use it for.

Battery life is good; it is small, although I prefer the ipad mini to be honest. Same iterative design from Apple; what we are used to, after all, since 2012. Unless you need to be in the Apple ecosystem, get a cheaper tablet for productivity, or a mini; the price of the air is equivalent to a real ultra portable computer from few years ago; so figure out by yourself if it is worth the price tag, compared to a real computer with a more flexible os.

Have the new IPad Air. It is a modestly improved version of my prior IPad.

My biggest objection is despite the slightly larger screen, Apple only uses about 95% of it. Why say this is a 10.25 screen when it seems to use the same space as my 9.7 inch IPad?
