Sweet as hell! If you're buying a vape battery charger, just get this for a few dollars more. Why not have it auto adjust to different capacities, show amount charged, be a double, and prevent overcharge, and have a led screen? I even think it shuts off when not in use. Extremely happy, very good quality, built tough. My gf already wants one from using mine. 3 vape people in the house all use this and can see if the other batteries are charged.
9/13/18- Update- The metal parts of the charger that hold the batteries became increasingly difficult to move. It was almost as if they needed to be oiled. The battery compartment on the right side was significantly more difficult to move than the left side. About a week ago, the bottom of the right side finally snapped off. I contacted the company to inquire about getting a new charger; the response was quick and my new charger will arrive tomorrow. A few months back I also had a problem with one of the Eastshine batteries no longer accepting and charge (it was relatively new) and the company was very quick to send a replacement for that as well. I couldn’t be more pleased with the response of the company. I do hope I have better luck with the mechanics of the second charger since I truly to enjoy using it. On a side not, I think that Amazon could make it a bit more intuitive in regard to how you contact a company in regard to inquiring about the warranty on a product; it seemed like I had to do a lot of rooting around on the Amazon site to figure it out.
I have 2 Eastshine 18650 batteries and have been using this charger for them. I use the batteries for a powerful headlamp and I have recharged the batteries probably 35 - 45 times. It charges significantly faster than the charger that came with the headlamp. It'll also charge AA and AAA rechargeable batteries, but I prefer to slow-charge them in Duracell charger that I bought at Sam's Club. The Eastshine charger charges the AA and AAA batteries so quickly that I have to wonder if it is good for them. Dunno, maybe that's just me. Also, it'll charge at .5 amp or 1 amp; I use the .5 amp setting (it charges pretty fast and it really isn't necessary to use the 1 amp setting unless you are really in a pinch). Everything that is Eastshine is good quality and I would certainly buy from them again.
We recently ordered a new high performance flashlight and needed something that could charge the battery when it arrived. I didn't have a great deal of time to do research, and tried to limit the selection to items shipping via prime, so that it'd arrive around the same time the light did. Fortunately, Eastshine made it easy. I was able to spend several hours searching charger reviews on amazon and elsewhere, and though we'd never heard of Eastshine before, this looked like the clear winner for our budget and needs. And so far we haven't been disappointed. It feels well built, a far-cry from the cheap chargers that often accompany budget LED flashlights. The Lumintop TD16 we bought isn't a generic built torch, and we didn't want something cheap and generic charging the $12 batteries we use in it, much less have to worry about catching the house on fire if we can't monitor it closely. This charger has a heft to it that the cheap ones don't, as well as much faster charging times and useful features. We love how the readout tells you how full the battery is.
There were some strong contenders from Nitecore and other names we were already familiar with. But most cost at least double what this one did, no doubt partially because of name markup, but most also could charge four to six batteries at a time, which we didn't need, knowing we'd probably rarely be charging more than one at a time. So this was the most appealing option and sounded like it was just as well made, if not better than some of the names we were more familiar with, as even the priciest names didn't have perfect track records. If you need to charge more batteries at once, there may be better alternatives. For only charging one or two at a time, this is still the best value and quality charger we've come across since purchase
Well, how can you go wrong with this little unit. Wow... for $15 I am very impressed... I won't need to use it often, but I like to have batteries that are charged and ready to go for my flashlights.... you just never know when you might need them... and this unit has a car charger adapter! Perfect! This unit has a nice large easy to read LCD screen tells you what type of battery it is and how much charging it needs. Replaceable cord is a nice feature. I am very impressed. It's charging my batteries now. Two different types, at the same time! This is so totally worth the price. I am glad I bought it. If you've just recently crawled out from under a rock and have no idea what an 18650 battery is... (LOL...I didn't know what they were till recently) they are much easier to deal with than those pesky AAA batteries that are always used in groups of 3's. (why 3?) The 18650 eliminates the need for carrying 3 batteries per "charge" for your light. I can carry 3 of these battery's or 9 AAA's and have the same output. The 18650's are fast charging and they come in a variety of capacities. Anyway, this charger will charge them up and once you start using the 18650's you will not go back to those annoying AAA's and the special plastic thingy they go into... aaaarrrrggghh. Leave the AAA's for the TV Remote!
This Eastshine S2 is by far the best charger I have owned. The slots are sized so that the larger 26650 batteries actually fit well and is still able to hold tiny AAA batteries securely. It has 2 charge rates, 500mah and 1000mah. The 2 slots are independent of one another, allowing you to charge any combination of batteries at the same time. And with different charge rates if you choose.
After having this charger for some time I thought a 4 slot charger would be handy so I tried a couple of them...and promptly returned them. None of them had the nice big slots, the independent operation of each slot or the power of the Eastshine S2. Solution? I bought a second S2 and sat it next to the first one! Turns out 2 of these cost about the same as a 4 slot charger but offer so much more!
If I had to list a con for this charger it would be the lack of a 3rd, lower charge rate for small, low capacity batteries, say 250mah. Add that and it would be perfect! (although I will add that I charge AAA batteries with this quite often, with no problems or battery overheating)

Our charger works exactly the way it is supposed to. We have had it for about 3 months now. We have not had any problems. My wife and I both use it to charge 18650 batteries for our vapes.
I must admit I was skeptical when seeing that this charger could both automatically detect the battery size and type I had, charge it to capacity and then shut off. All that AND I could use it in the car? An eyebrow was certainly raised, but for the price I couldn't help but find out.
I'm happy to report that this little station does indeed work as advertised. I put two 18350 Li-Ion batteries into the stations. It quickly detected their size and power requirements and showed me their current charge level before beginning to juice them up. Once they reached full power, the charger stopped. While I haven't tested the car charger, I have no reason to believe it won't provide power as well.
I was looking for a charger that could charge batteries in the car for vaporizer use (perfect for road trips!) that was inexpensive, reliable and featured an auto-shutoff. I certainly found it, and I couldn't be happier!
I have several other chargers (Nitecore D4, SC4, etc.) but was looking for something a little smaller that would give me a 1A option for 18650's along with the ability to charge Ni-MH/Ni-Cd batteries. Took a chance on this one and can't be happier. Simple, mo power brick, shows all the relevant info I need for each battery without pushing any buttons. I'm thinking of getting another!
I love this charger and I been thru many! I didn't experience a warmer charger when charging at 1000 instead of 500 maH like I read on another review; just a faster charged battery.
I do wish it came with a break down of the how it works more ( volts, charging 1000 vs 500 et cetera) . I noticed that charging it 1000 ma over 500ma reduced the charging time significantly. It takes around 4 hrs to charge my 18650 3000 mah batteries at 500ma and half that at 1000ma. Its fast!
With a mild idea of how to use rechargeable batteries, regardless, its so EASY to use.
I've owned a Nitecore and an efest battery charger, this is by far my favorite thus far. Durable, intelligent and simple.
works as advertised seems to cut off my lipo at 4.19 v other chargers peak them at 4.29 same batteries not sure whats correct just voicing what i observed in my tests
