SweetLeaf Natural Stevia Sweetener, 70 Count

SweetLeaf Natural Stevia Sweetener, 70 Count

Sweet leaf is my favorite sweetener and it is the only one recommended by my gym. There are some stevia sweeteners that actually have other sweeteners in them, but this one does NOT. It is strictly stevia. Now this is powdery, not granulated. Know that!

There is a bit of an aftertaste, but honestly, you get used to it. And it is... omg... not as strong as Sweet N Low or Splenda. It has worked wonders for me.

I love that it comes in packets, and I always keep some in my purse. I love to mix it with fresh lemon juice and water for a calorie-free lemonade. One of my favorite healthy "sweet" treats.

I have been using SweetLeaf packets for a long time. I just switched to Sweetleaf Natural Stevia Sweetener Powder, 4 Ounce Shaker because it is more convenient at home but I do still buy the packets for travel and to carry in my bag. This sweetener is safe. It is not like many artificial sweeteners that have cancerous possibilities and other side effects. It is a natural sweetener. It doesn't have the same taste as my favorite which is Splenda. It took a while for me to get assimilated to the slightly bitter taste of Stevia but now I don't even notice it. I use it for my iced tea, oatmeal, and pretty much anything that I want sweetened.

The packets are sturdy so carrying them around won't end up with crystals all over your bag or pocket. A whole packet is really sweet so I tend to use a half of one and try to salvage the other half. That is why i switched to the shaler where I control the amount I use.

I like this sweetener and it is safe which is a huge concern of mine. It is very concentrated and a little goes a long way. It's a little pricey for just 70 packets which is another reason I switched to the shaker which has loads more servings. But the convenience of packets for travel or carrying with me makes up for the higher price, in my opinion.

This sweetener is my favorite in beverages, especially coffee, because of it's flavor especially for the aftertaste, which they all seem to have. Please understand that we all have different taste buds, so you may not agree with me. My husband doesn't care so much for the after taste of this product, and prefers Truvia. Personally, I don't care for the aftertaste of Truvia. However, after finishing my first box of SweetLeaf's Natural Stevia Sweetener I'm finding that the aftertaste is remaining much longer than the Truvia does. It remains in the tissues of my mouth, and even lips, for hours after having had a beverage. This may be true for few people but I don't know for sure. I'm becoming concerned about that though because it could be contributing to an addiction.

Individual packets, has 1/4 teaspoon per packet (2 teaspoons sugar equivalent). Better tasting than Now Foods Organic stevia.

A little pricy in the packet, but convenient to take with you to eat out or travelling. The 'flavor' is excellent. Also available in 4 oz bulk canister, I usually buy this in that format. The packets are very convenient for not really having to measure anything.

I am celiac and have no problems with this brand. It is not a pure stevia powder, it does contain Inulin. Once in a while I will get 'fiber' that is not sweet in the bottom of my cup, this is the inulin. The 'sweet' component, the stevia, does disperse well even if the inulin doesn't always. It won't harm you to consume that fiber.

I have been searching for months to find the best organic stevia on the market until I came across SweetLeaf. I was skeptical at first because most stevia products have sugar alcohol, but this product appears not to have any as it says on the box "Organic" and "Kosher."

What I like about this product is that it doesn't taste bad at all! It is easy to manage portions by using 1-2 packets for a cup of tea or coffee. It's convenient to take to restaurants when ordering coffee or unsweet tea. I have tried other stevia products, but I noticed that a lot of different brands use sugar alcohol which can be a big deal to someone like myself.

I should mention that I am someone who is using the keto diet, and while using this product I have not once slipped out of ketosis. So, if you are a keto-dieter and looking for a stevia sweetener that has excellent taste, zero carbs, and no sugar alcohol, then this product should definitely be on your shopping list.

We loved this product for a long time! We also loved that we could buy it at Kroger/Frys. However, we started having issues. Some of the boxes wouldn't have enough of the sweetener in the packets (I guess it was mostly fiber). Some boxes would have clumpy packets like it had gotten wet and dried back up. It is a great sugar substitute and the packets are great for traveling and using daily. When we contacted the company regarding the issues, they were always willing to replace the item if you sent in receipts and barcodes off the box, but I never had those items. Overall, it was a great product, it just wasn't a consistent quality.

This is one of the few Stevia sweeteners that doesn't contain tons of extra bad stuff. 3 ingredients. As for taste, it is sweeter than other artificial sweeteners, so you won't need as much. It can have a bitter taste, but I find myself using less of this than other sweeteners, so the bitterness doesn't bother me.

Not sure why soda companies don't use Stevia. It's a plant. I grew one in my vegetable garden. You suck on the leaves and they are sweet. This is pure Stevia, no after taste no headache. Won't rot your teeth. 1 packet with my tea gives it a mild sweetness. Other sweeteners give you cancer, this is natural from a plant. I am satisfied with it and have been using this brand for years.

My husband loves the stuff and we order it online now all the time. It seems to have a more natural less chemically flavor than other Stevia brands we've tried. It's much easier just to get it in the larger box because we go through so much of it. My only issue is on the rare occasion that I make coffee for him I can't seem to dump this into the coffee without some of the powder also going up my nose which is really weird. That is also why I use liquid Stevia in my drinks instead.

Yummy sweetness. I put it in my coffee. I have a mug that holds 1/2 a pot of coffee and I used to add three tbsps of sugar to this. But I only have to add 2 packets of the stevia to get it as sweet as the sugar. I'm cutting over 400 calories a day from my diet caused by sugar! It's amazing how those spoonfuls add up. My only problem is that it does leave an aftertaste that reminds me a bit of drinking juice after toothbrushing. It doesn't last long if you cleanse your palette after by eating something bland.
