Mounted my TCL 4K Roku TV high up and needed a bit more cord length to reach the outlet. This was much better than using an extension cord which would have connected along the wall area.
Bought this to replace the short power cable on my TCL 65S4, since it was much too short to reach my surge protector. It was a simple task to remove the old cable and plug this one in. So far it's worked perfectly; I feel much better knowing my TV is protected against power surges, and the extra length will come in handy when it's time to hang it against the wall and hide away some cables. The cable seems solid and well made, and looks like it can easily handle a lifetime of use.
Definitely recommend this if you're looking for some extra length to the small TV table that came from the factory.
I'm putting 3/4" 200 psi plastic water pipes in the wall to hide the cords above my fireplace and got this to run the power in the channel (plastic pipe) from the outlet to my TV. Putting an actual outlet about the fireplace would have been a major project and I wanted to hide the HDMI cables too so this 12' long power cord is perfect. The cord is nice and flexible and doesn't feel like cheap plastic. I had to take a rotary rasp to the inside of 2 plastic 45 degree pipe corners since the plug would not go through a regular 90 degree elbow but that was no problem.
With this new longer power cord, I was able to tie the cord up against the TV wall mount, and route it through the flex-conduit that I use to cover all the input cables.....
This leaves me with one single conduit running up from the DVR to the TV, and I have painted it the same color as the wall.... so it now looks like the TV is floating on the wall....with no visible connection to anything.
The spouse loves this....so everyone is happy.
These plugs will pretty much work with any TV (or appliance i.e. streaming box, DVD player, etc...) with a two prong female receptacle, and my Sharp TV was no different. I think most TV's come with about a 6ft. plug. Not long enough for my project to install a wall mounted, hidden cable, TV in the living room. This 12ft fit the bill perfectly.

This cord answered our need after hanging our TV on the wall and finding both the outlet and the power strip too far away to plug in the TV - ouch! This cord was exactly what we needed and so far so good in terms of use.
I'm using this with a Roku TV by TCL that was mounted on the wall. The included power cable wasn't quite long enough to reach the outlet without using an extension cord. The extension cord added bulk to the cable and made using a raceway for the cables impossible. This cord was quick and easy swap out that works great. In addition, I believe the insulation on this cord is a bit smaller than the original, lending it to work better in the cord raceway with an HDMI cable.
I actually bought this cable because my TV went out and I was wondering if it was the cord that was the problem.
It wasn't- so I'm not sure how durable or reliable this product is but one things for sure, it's really long and convenient since you can move your TV around without having to worry about the cord.
I lost my original power cord to my TCL flatscreen. I ordered this cable and it works perfect. It looks to be an OEM cord. I am perfectly happy with it!
The power cord that came with the television had a 90* configuration on the power inlet side which goes into receptacle. That is great consideration for most if you are needing to get the television close to the wall such as a refrigerator. The reason I ordered this "straight inlet" is because the 90* cord takes up two spaces on an inline power strip which is what I have, and I have many power cords necessitating a long strip. So I was happy to find this configuration and will still keep the manufacturers cord for another use later.
