GoPro Hero 7 Black Action Camera + Extra USA Battery + Sandisk 32GB MicroSDHC U3 and Free Polaroid 16GB MicroSD Memory Card

GoPro Hero 7 Black Action Camera + Extra USA Battery + Sandisk 32GB MicroSDHC U3 and Free Polaroid 16GB MicroSD Memory Card

Pros: Awesome stabilization/pictures. Makes my Hero3 look like VHS vs Hero7 BluRay quality.
Cons: Battery Life/design.

I'm not too happy with the battery life - I know cold weather affects batteries/electronics, but my brother's hero3 (with an aftermarket extended battery) goes 5+ hours in EXTREME cold weather (-20-30F) on a single extended wasabi battery.

The design doesn't allow third party batteries without compromising water tight seals. This is mostly due to the included LCD screen and how the batteries are inserted and have been my biggest pet peeve since I owned a Hero 5 black. I find the LCD screen unnecessary when you have the option to attach it to a phone (which is sub-par at best in general also.)

How to improve: Release a non-LCD model, or an option for GoPro approved/created extended batteries with an extended case or better placement of battery insertion. I want HOURS of footage, not 15 minutes.

I really like the camera. It took me a while to get used to all the settings. As Go Pro doesn't give you any instruction manual with the camera itself. You have to youtube all your learning skills. But there is a lot of pretty knowledgeable people out there to walk you through the basic, intermediate, and advanced stuff. The swipe screen is a bit tough to operate once you put the camera in a mounting cage, though. But overall, it is fun to play with. And it does some pretty cool stuff.

I had gopro 4,5 and 6 before I bought GoPro7 ... Just the best one. on 2.7K 60fps hyper smooth records perfect shoot with proper software stabilization. Do not need to buy gimbal for this model. More durable battery. Love this model. It's worth to upgrade your gopro if you use them often in shaky modes.

This is my first action camera. I bought it to record video of rides on our motorcycle. The video is super smooth with the image stabilization turned on. I have not tried it with image stabilization turned off though.
The setup of the camera is easy, but make sure you enter the name of the camera during initial setup because there is currently no other way to change the name of the camera.
The battery will last about 1 hour. I was surprised by this sort duration and wound up not getting my entire ride which was about two hours long.
The video is fun to watch after thr fact since you get to see parts of the ride that was missed while watching the traffic.
The video does get broken into segments that are about 8 minutes 51 seconds long. I don't know if this is because of the memory card I am using, or if that is just the way the camera is made. I didn't find a setting that would allow me to change this behavior.
The camera does get a bit warm to the touch during extended use.

The new go pro hero 7 black is amazing. The hyper smooth feature makes it a quality us normal people haven't seen before. It's very compact and easy to use. The only downside to the gopro is That they have very short battery life. You want to get a back up battery at least. I can tell you you wont be let down with the new hero 7 black.

I enjoyed the little camera. Bought accessories to go with it after much research via Amazon and YouTube video watching. Some accessories are better than others, so watch the YouTube videos on the Hero 7 and it's accessories. I bought 4 extra GoPro authentic batteries, three 128 SanDisk Pro mini SD cards. I really only need one because I used my iPhone and a Canon DSLR camera for other recordings/photos. Great little camera though, was pleased I purchased it.

I’ve always loved GoPro cameras, this one is fantastic. Love the features and how easy it is to operate. Was disappointed GoPro studio isn’t available anymore, but I’m sure we’ll find another program. The lens cover was difficult to remove in order to put the waterproof housing on it, i was worried i was going to break it, but finally got it off and got the housing on. Love this camera, highly recommend it.

I like the timewarp feature. I feel like GoPro missed an opportunity here. It’s super smooth and professional looking timelapse. I would have gone with Pro-Lapse but that’s just me. Woulda made things flow a bit better I think.

The battery life on these are bad, but if you’re able to take the side door off and plug it into a portable charger it’ll last all day.

Aside from the new features, durability and layout seems to be on par with previous models.

I have had my go-pro for a couple weeks and have used it for work videos as well as personal fun videos, and as a videographer I must say it is very good quality. The picture looks great even though there is a little over exposure at times. The only down side I have about it is that the battery life doesn’t last too long. The battery level will drop faster when taking a lot of video, and it can also drop when it is turned off. The stabilization looks great but only works for 2.7k and not 4K. The stabilization also doesn’t not work for 240 frames (but it is not needed at that speed). Overall it is a great investment if you need to add more diversity of shots as a videographer or if you simply are adventurous and like to do lots of outdoor activities.

The last GoPro I bought was the 4hero and now I finally upgraded to the 7black! And so far I love the camera! It lasted for my 2 and half hour beach day while being on the entire time. It takes amazing video and the app makes it super easy to pull still frames from videos. I don’t have time to continue but if your reading this just pull the trigger and buy the camera!
