Very lightweight and a bit noisy due to that fact but thus far does the job effectively. I did not expect much from such an inexpensive printer but it's much faster than my now defunct old Epson. Cannot comment on ink usage yet, but will return to edit. Copies are clean and clear. I did not want to invest in a scanner/printer combo yet but needed a new printer in a hurry and this one was priced right.
My more expensive Canon Pixma MG7120 stopped printing, but still scans. I never needed the wifi feature. Since it still scans, all I needed was printing only. This TS202 filled my need perfectly. It arrived yesterday. It was exceptionally easy to set up - I did the set up with the included cd. I will point out it does NOT come with a USB connector. I used the one from the other printer. But you can get them cheaply here at Amazon. This TS202 is a printer only - no scanner, no copier, no wifi. That being said it prints very well. The text comes out much more cleanly and sharper than the much more expensive MG7120. I even printed an 8 x 10 photo on Canon Pro Luster photo paper (it's matte photo paper with just a bit of glossiness to it). It didn't want to print when I chose to print with any of the photo paper options, so I set it to print on paper. At that point, it did print onto the photo paper I had loaded and it printed the photo out beautifully. So if you don't require wifi, scanning or copying, I would highly recommend this printer. Fortunately the scanner still works on my other Canon, and I don't need copying, so I'm covered. I'm retired and use printing only for personal needs.
Easy to use, easy to set up, although it DOES NOT come with the required USB cable. Not a big deal considering the price. Good print quality, fast and can be shared over your network, makes up for lack of WiFi
It’s an inexpensive printer, and it works great! Seems like a good value so far. I’ve printed off about 20 pages so far and everything has come out just fine.
Easy install. Took me 5 min. Did not use the enclosed disk. I find it easier to plug and play. Printed a test paper, looks good. I really don't print that much but, I do need to print stuff once in a while.
As for noise, she is a little noisy. My last printer (an HP 1512 all-in-one was very quiet, lasted 3 yrs before she bought the farm).. This is a basic printer nothing more, nothing less. works for me.

Bought this printer to replace a more expensive printer. Easy to hook up. Recommend this printer. The last one I bought like this lasted years. Can't beat the price.
I had an old HP printer that we'd had for years. I got a refill set or refurbished ink cartridges when needed. I shopped around when it died and found it was almost impossible to do that these days.
Then I found this printer. It was a great price, I could set it up with a disc for my desktop or with an inexpensive cable for my laptop easily and it can take Insmax or other refurbished cartridges as well as its own!
Yes it is noisier but I don't care about that so much. I HATE the idea of being forced by a machine to buy it's ink when it says. I am not smart enough for 'smart' equipment--or I am too smart to support them.
If all you are looking for is a hardwired (USB) printer with no frills but decent quality for occasional printing this printer may be for you.
If you want to use the printer over WiFi or a network, this is not the printer for you.
If you want to print a lot with top quality, then I would recommend you refining your search to 'Laser Printer' or 'Color Laser Printer'.
Don't get me wrong, this printer is excellent in just about every way, and you really can't beat the value for such a solid Canon product. Would easily be 5 stars if not for one little caveat: Canon does not currently make a driver specifically for this printer for Mac OSX High Sierra. A workaround I found was that the Canon Pixma MX920 Series driver works for this printer as well, so just keep that in mind!
The printer works very well. Very easy set up. It set itself up when I plugged it in. I read the reviews to see if it came with ink. Some said it did, some said no. The comment from canon said that yes it did come with ink. Well mine did NOT so maybe some do and some don’t. Luck of the draw? Luckily I ordered extra ink when I ordered the printer.
