BOSS Audio MR1308UAB Single Din, Bluetooth, MP3 / WMA/USB/SD AM/FM Weather-Proof Marine Stereo, (No CD/DVD), Detachable Front Panel, Wireless Remote

This is not a SOLID feeling full up stereo that you are most likely imagining will be like your previous ones. After unboxing I literally thought this device had been used to pull parts from just due to the fact that it looks completely empty inside. In all fairness though, when I did complete the install and power it up, it did everything it said it would and has even survived the initial rainstorm. For the price I certainly can't complain. For those of you who are die hard stereo and music enthusiasts this device most likely wont power and hit the way you're wanting it too. An amp would help but don't forget the standard "you get what you pay for" moniker.

mounting materials are not highest quality. I use this in my convertible to replace the power antenna the breaks once a year. I use this inside the car and reception is great. cable could stand to be a bit longer but I am very happy with reception. That is what matters.

Nice antenna. G.very good reception. Installed inside batwing along and across upper edge under wind shield. Used hot glue to secure across path

Works ok in my Can-am Maverick. I will be replacing it with a longer antenna one day. This one doesn't reach the top of my cage by the time a run it sideways through the dash and then up. It picks up stations ok like it is but picked them up great when I held it straight up in the air before the install. I just need an antenna a couple foot longer.

Works great - awesome addition to the boat. Does drain the battery but what doesn't after 3 hours without running the motor.

Hooked up to radio and turned radio on. Press tuner than seek and a radio station came through my speakers. Genius product.

I mean it really does help boost the fm radio but if you are in a parking garage or somewhere underground it will get fuzzy I know this is for marine purposes so I can't really complain. Another con about this is that it just comes in a plastic bag. It would be nice if there were directions or some helpful tips of maximizing performance. I had to replace my old power antenna motor on my Acura integra and I really didn't want to replace it with an old bulky transmitter. So I bought this instead. Its pretty good. I removed the panel inside and plugged this in my OEM fm transmitter plug (usually all cars have this) and it worked. The thing that I like about this is that the antenna is able to bend and flex easily so you can hide it very discreetly and it will still work. I hid mine in the hatch door rubber molding that prevents moisture and water from entering. All I had to do was fish it in and tuck it in underneath the molding. The existing power antenna hole was till there. So it was a very inexpensive fix. All I had to do was find a grommet that was 3$ and plug up the hole perfect fit. Not to mention that this antenna is a few bucks and it has 2 day shipping if you have amazon prime. You can't beat this antenna I believe. I have seen my Dad's radio transmitter on his dodge that he payed at least 50$ and it works almost as well. Just don't put this underneath metal or it will obstruct the signal

I bought his antenna to put on my golf cart radio. Easy to just plug into the back of the radio and hide anywhere small. It picks up stations either one of my cars will pickup. Very impressed with the quality and performance of this antenna. Would provide a picture of it installed but it's tucked away not to be seen in my cart.

Works great! I installed on my side by side.

Bought this for my boat and newly installed stereo. As others have said, the bolt you use to mount it should be longer for campers, boats, and there are no installation instructions but you have to be an idiot not to be able to figure it out.....the antenna on the outside and the wire part on the inside.... besides that, it seems to work just fine. I know it makes reception better on my boat...without it I got nothing but static.
