These are good. I was impressed that they aren't loaded with sweetness.I was afraid that I would get something like a sandwich cookie. Two of these are in each package. A good size since I've really been working on getting meal sizing down for us.
My husband's family history is catching up with him and his blood sugar level was high and his weight way up at his last physical, I decided to find foods that were better for us. And while I will eat things like this for breakfast, he uses them for snacks. At 68, he can pack away as much food daily as a college football player. His sugar levels and weight have really started showing his eating habits lately, Trying to get him healthier is not an easy task. I filled up two Prime Pantry boxes of healthy foods I can't get locally, and am giving him no choice!
It seems that when I start eating something sweet I just want more and will end up binging if I start my day with a sugary meal. These dont' cause that to happen. =)
I would buy these again. We bought some of each flavor they had and so far have like what we tried.
I really liked these cookies, they taste very good also taste healthy (that they actually are might be a different matter though.) Only downside for me is I found them a bit expensive for just 5 bags of 2 cookies each.
I don't call these "breakfast" food, but I do find them yummy as a cookie, with quality flavor and nice individual pouches inside the box.
These are my favorites of the Belvita sandwich biscuits. They're nice and chocolatey and not overly bitter. They're great with a cup of morning coffee.
I'm not entirely convinced about the promised four hours of energy, though. They just taste good.
