Doritos Nacho Cheese Flavored Tortilla Chips, Party Size! (15 Ounce)

Doritos Nacho Cheese Flavored Tortilla Chips, Party Size! (15 Ounce)

The only bad thing I can say is my fault for ordering 4 bags of chips with other heavy items. They made a great attempt at protecting them from getting crushed in shipping but not as good as it could have been. They'll probably be ok but not like they would be if ordering things of same weight and fragility. At least they're not ground into bags of chip particles.
Note to self; don't order chips and soft drinks at the same time.

Who could resist the flavor and crunch of this longstanding product. These cheesy chips you just can't put down. They go well with a variety of meals, or as a stand alone snack. The flavor is so rich that you can't eat just one. Fast shipping and brand name Doritos complete the experience of munching on this special product. Pure heaven! Well packed and fast shipping make this a truly awesome experience. I highly recommend this product.

Spectacular. However, my bag seems to have had a few chips fall into it, thus taking up space that air could have occupied. I'm not sure if quality control was off that day or what, because there were actually quite a few ounces of Nacho Cheese Flavored Doritos that were present in the bag of air I was purchasing. I'm sure it was purely a mistake and the worker that was throwing chips around on the line was reprimanded, so I've decided not to file a complaint.

Buyer: Just be aware that you may end up with some chips that fall into your next bag of air...

Who doesn't love Doritos! Now they can be shipped directly to your house! Whaaa!

Love these! The coating is a little inconsistent, some chips are bland and some are nice and tasty. It happens with all sorts of chips, but that doesn't mean it's ok :p

They're a sturdier chip so they hold up quite well in shipping.

eero Home WiFi System (1 eero Pro + 2 eero Beacons) – Advanced Tri-Band Mesh WiFi System to Replace Traditional Routers and WiFi Ranger Extenders – Coverage: 2 to 4 Bedroom Home

eero Home WiFi System (1 eero Pro + 2 eero Beacons) – Advanced Tri-Band Mesh WiFi System to Replace Traditional Routers and WiFi Ranger Extenders – Coverage: 2 to 4 Bedroom Home

This is long updated review on 6 different wifi systems and why we picked and are still using Eero. We were very happy with the 1st Gen Eero system and just upgraded to 2nd Gen with 2 beacons and wanted to share our experience to end wifi issues/dead spots in our home. This is our overall experience and perhaps it will help you with your decision.

WIFI SYSTEMS PURCHASED:
Orbi, Velop, Amplifi HD, Google Wifi, 1st Gen Eero and 2nd Gen Eero with 2 beacons

LOCATION:
3000Sq Ft Townhome with at least 45 devices connected at any time. 3D printers, Sonos players in every room and outdoors, Phillips Hue, Amazon Dots, Ooma, Smart TV’s, IOS/Android phones, tablets and computers, Apple Tvs, 10+ POE 4MP Security cameras, Ring/Chime devices and the list goes on. Work remotely so lots of video calls, exchanging, uploading, downloading and working on design files online. My Little Pony and a bevy of others streamed for the little one via Netflix/Hulu etc. ISP is Comcast with 200mbps down and 10mbps up. Wifi dense community of townhomes with lots of interference which affect signal penetration. This was the place where Wifi went to die!

SITUATION:
Started with Comcast router/modem then tried Comcast modem with Netgear X6, Comcast modem with Netgear X8, Arris SB6190 with Netgear X8 and Netgear extender. Signal was great close to the modem/router but the further away you moved service degraded quite rapidly in our home. Also multiple SSID were a huge pain. Enter the wave of Wifi systems. We researched different products and read reviews on multiple sites. Reviews were too close so we bought the top 6 systems for real life testing in our home.

CRITERIA:
We bought these test systems with no promotions and no promises of a good review. We established simple criteria for our testing:
1) Product design
2) System setup
3) Ethernet wired backhaul
4) Firmware updates
5) System app
6) Customer service
7) Seamless roaming
8) Throughput/signal strength
9) Conclusion
We ranked the systems from 1st to 6th under each criteria. Here are our results.

PRODUCT DESIGN:
The designs are in different directions. The Orbi is the largest with an industrial design direction. Eero is the shortest an has an Apple-lesque minimal design. The new beacons are much better designed and inconspicuous when compared tot he Amplifi beacons. The nightlight is a welcomed additional feature. The Amplifi main units has a cool techy feel to it with a main unit with a bright LCD screen but thats where the design stopped because the satellite units have a quirky magnetic design - A child magnet because my daughter was always trying to adjust them for us. Google was just simple and quite unassuming. Velop had a modern feel/look to it. We found ourselves drawn to the simple clean design of the Eeros because they blended easily with our decor. (See images) However design is so subjective that it depends on what you like.

Ranking: (1st) Eero 2nd and 1st Gen (2nd) Velop (3rd) Google (4th) Orbi (5th) Amplifi

SYSTEM SETUP:
We set them up using an iPhone 7 Plus except for the Orbi which we used an iMac. We maintained the same room/general location main/satellite units for testing. Orbi setup is through the internet and that was easy and fast and it found the satellites with no issues. Eero set up was easy via the app and it found the satellites with no issues. We had to reposition the Google, Amplifi and Velop satellites during the initial setup for the main units to “see” them - (See Customer service section). After setup we plugged ethernet cables into the Velop, Google and Eero satellites to maximize performance. Orbi and Amplifi do not have this feature. Overall the setup for each 3 unit pack took less than 10mins for Eero/Orbi and less than 30mins for the rest. The 2nd Gen Eero with the updated software have the quickest setup till date. Even better than the previous Eero. Standouts here are Orbi and Eero because set up was simple and straight forward. However the edge goes to Eero due to how simple it was to set up with the app.

Ranking: (1st) Eero 2nd and 1st Gen (2nd) Orbi (3rd) Velop (4th) Google (5th) Amplifi

ETHERNET WIRED BACKHAUL:
The best connection is a wired connection so we wanted a system with the opportunity to hard wire the satellites. Orbi and Amplifi HD don't support wired backhaul. Amplifi HD uses a portion of its bandwidth to communicate between router and satelllite. Orbi has a dedicated band for its communication. Google Wifi, Velop and Eero support ethernet backhaul so you can hardwire all the units. These systems also work wirelessly. With the 2nd Gen Eero you can only have a wired connection with the main unit. The beacons only work wirelessly. Surprisingly the 2nd Gen beacons work better than the 1st Gen - Much better.. (See throughput/Signal section)

Ranking: (1st) Eero 2nd and 1st Gen (2nd) Google (3rd)Velop. Other 2 systems do not offer ethernet backhaul

FIRMWARE UPDATES:
This is the method employed by the manufacturer to improv and add features to your wifi system. With all the systems you have to update them with the latest software out of the box. Orbi was the most difficult because We had to download the update then apply it - It did not work for us the normal way. Velop, Amplifi and Eero worked in the normal way through their respective apps. After the initial firmware update they all updated automatically. This a splendid feature and how new and improved services are added to your wifi systems. Firmware notes and descriptions are always available on the manufacturer website.

Ranking: Even across the board

SYSTEM APP:
The app is where you interact with and glean all the information about your network and devices. Orbi has an app but its basically worthless and you have to use a net based portal to really access and customize the system. Next is the Amplifi app which at the time of testing wasn't so great. Google, Velop and Eero have the most user friendly apps. You can access your system remotely to control all available features. We are not complex users so advanced features like port forwarding etc etc were not a huge selling point to us. Features we looked for in the app were quality of service, devices connections, which nodes were connected to what device, signal strength to each device, guest access, network diagnosis, number of devices connected (easy way to see what device is actually on your network and what device should not be on your network), pausing internet/blocking devices, built in speed tests, device priority setting and device seamless roaming from node to node. With all this in mind Eero App was the winner hands down. The app was well laid out, information was easily visible and accessible and that made it a joy to use

Ranking: (1st) Eero (2nd) Google (3rd)Velop (4th) Amplifi (5th) Orbi

CUSTOMER SERVICE:
With new tech there is always the possibility of issues so going in we knew we might have to deal with potential issues and were ready. We had to spend a couple of hours with each companies customer service for different issues even after the set up process went well. Velop and Orbi customer service appears to be offshore and we had a difficult time explaining and understanding what they were saying and it sounded like they were reading from scripts. Amplifi customer service was through chats and that really did not help much. Google Wifi customer was decent and they are in the US. We were unable to improve the performance in our home and they were sold out so we could not get a replacement. Eero service was and is still light years ahead of the others and they are in the US. We were able to speak with, understand and formulate a plan for our specific situation. It did not feel as if they were reading from scripts but more trying to understand our issue, troubleshoot and resolve. They followed up with calls and emails to make sure our issues were addressed. We felt that if we had any issues in the future we knew who to call. With the 2nd Gen we did not need to contact customer service as everything went smoothly.

Ranking: (1st) Eero (2nd) Google (3rd)Amplifi (4th) Orbi (5th) Velop

SEAMLESS ROAMING:
A major selling point of Wifi systems is seamless roaming/handover between nodes. Basically as you move through your home/office the systems connects your device to the node that is closest or the one that gives it the best signal. Its actually fun to watch the switch offer through the app. Theoretically Orbi, Amplifi and Velop state that your devices switch between nodes for best service but offer no way to view the transitions. No way for you to see what node you a device is connected to at any time. This is another area where Google and Eero outshine the competition. Both apps tell you which node your device is connected to. However Eero goes a few steps further and shows you what band is being used, signal strength of connected node and activity levels. As the signal strength weakens (goes from 5 green bars to 1 red bar) you can watch as the devices switches to the next node. Eero unleashed new software and it shines with the 2nd Gen. The switches are quicker and smoother. It was fun watching as Eero switched nodes as we moved from room to room. We actually turned that into a game to see which node would step up and take over.

Ranking: (1st) Eero 2nd Gen (2nd) Eero 1st Gen (3rd) Google. Other 3 systems did not offer the ability to monitor

THROUGHPUT/SIGNAL STRENGTH:
With our old units we had lots of inconsistent signals and loss of speed. We pay for 200 down and 10 up and old systems never even got close. All 5 systems tested improved upon our situation. From last to first we would rank them as follows. 5) Google Wifi never gave us more than 50% of upload speeds. 4) Amplifi gave us about the same as Google wifi. 3) Velop was not consistent and varied between 50% and 96%. 2) Orbi was also inconsistent and varied between 70% and 100%. 1) Eero provided 100-120% consistently however the new system with the beacons provided 110 - 135% consistently. Even though we got signal improvements with all the units the differentiator was “consistency of signal, speed and connection”. Hands down best performer were both Eero systems. We got consistent speeds at each node and at all corners of our home. The Eero system with the beacons connected slightly faster. Unlike Orbi and Velop the Eero systems did not cut in and out or have lapses of slow speed. They were also consistently faster than all the other units.

Ranking: (1st) Eero 2nd and 1st Gen (2nd) Orbi (3rd) Velop (4th) Amplifi (5th) Google

EERO VS EERO
The 2nd Gen was slightly faster, smoother, quicker to set up. However the main difference here is ethernet ports. The first generation 3 pack has a total of 6 ports - 2 on each unit. The newer system has just 2 ports on the main unit and no ports on the beacons. If you need ports at ever Eero location the new version with beacons will not work for you. If most of your devices are wired and you need a stronger consistent Wifi signal then the newer units perform better than the first and will be great. The Eero pro with 3 units would be the best of both worlds and we have that on order and will update the review when we get that. We switched from the 1st Gen to the 2nd Gen because we have most of our devices wired and just needed a strong wifi system. The new system with the beacons are much stronger than the old 3 pack system. In our home the beacon system is so strong that we won't need to add more whereas we added extra units of the 1st generation

IMAGES:
We have switched from using our 5 1st Gen to 3 2nd Gen Eeros (Eero and 2 beacons). We included images of our Eero locations (Gen 1 and 2) as well as size compared icon for the beacons and the night light feature. We also included images showing the differences between the 1st and 2nd Gen main units. 2nd Gen has a physical reset button and now charges with USB C. The beacons once plugged in are basically inconspicuous. We now only use 1 main unit and 2 beacons. Awesome!

CONCLUSION:
For our home we ended up with an Eero system because it won in all the categories that mattered to us. We loved the minimal design, easy set up, wired ethernet backhaul, fluid app, seamless roaming and customer service Eero provided. In real life use in our home Eero (1st or 2nd) just worked with no complications. This is our Eero experience in our setting. Now all of us can do what ever we want with wifi anywhere in and outside our home. We hope the review will help you and we will help with questions you may have. Eero gets a full recommendation from us. Hands down the best overall system out there by far. Great job Eero!!

Ok, I will admit that I bought these with the full intention of probably having to send them back. Through the years I have tried several different systems to put good wireless throughout our 3-story home. I've used several different routers, and have had an Apple AirPort Extreme and two Airport Express' running (which still provide the backbone in the house for our less needy machine system). But nothing I did could get a good signal into the master bedroom in the back of the house, especially with the main router being in the home office upstairs on the other side of the house. My better half constantly let me know I was a poor excuse of a Network Engineer when she wasn't even able to watch the latest Korean drama in peace while laying in bed.
Unpacking - simple and clean. Download and install the app. on your smart phone before you start doing anything as it walks you through the install (and does an incredibly simple and great job of it). Install and setup of the main hub took me all of about 5 minutes with most of that time spent finding an extension cord. As I was replacing an existing wireless setup once I had the system up and running all my iPads and such connected automatically as I had used the same SSID and password. Setting up the Beacons took about 30 minutes, with most the time taken in selecting location so I would have a good mesh of the signal. Again, the App. walks you through every step, and lets you know if you have selected a good spot or if you might want to move a beacon to a different location for a better mesh. The App. is a thing of beauty, with all the information you need right at your fingertips. The stuff you usually want to customize (like the names of the Beacons) are customizable. Once I had all the Beacons set up I went through the house trying to find a weak spot or dead spot. Couldn't find one - not one! Guess I won't be sending this stuff back after all. Sure put a smile on my better half's face! Oh, and is this thing FAST!!!

Also, a note about Apple products. I have read the other reviews that say the eero doesn’t work well with Apple products. I don’t know why they are having problems. My system has been up and running for about two months now with zero problems. And it stays connect rock solid to all manner of devices (about 26 I believe) including two iPads, two iPhones, an iMac, a MacBook Pro, a Smart Thermostat, a couple Apple TV’s, a Ring Smart Doorbell and three Ring remote doorbells. Oh, and two of them do double duty as night lights. And the system has updated itself twice that I know of (I would only know as it would tell me after the fact).

Welcome to the first day of the rest of your WiFi. After years of going through WiFi routers I have FINALLY found a mesh network that works in this haunted house.. I live in an all brick house. 4000 sq feet. 2 stories. This has been a daunting task for as long as I have lived here for about 5 years. Constantly plagued with wifi problems. No matter what. I've gone through a stack of 10 different wifi dongle/adapters over the years.

I have a router graveyard in my basement of very high end routers (they all still work, just not in this house lol). Including Netgear Orbis (2 router mesh), Linksys Velop (3 router mesh), ASUS RT-AC3200, Apple Airport Extreme, ASUS RT-N66U, Securifi Almond, TP-Link AC3200 Archer.

Orbis would drop out. It couldn't even get a stable connection 20 feet away. The Velop system, similar issues. You'd think with 3 Meshed network, it would work better than the 2 Orbis. Nope. Orbis has no flexibility whatsoever. The channel selection process was horrific. Another great thing about this, the size! It's so small! It's by far the best performance I've ever measured. Also, the setup is the EASIEST I have EVER done. Typically, when Netgear or Linksys say go download their App - its so easy, it really never is. There's always some issue.

Eero's, is a company that is thinking outside the box. They know the problems that plague users today. This new generation of eeros, absolutely demolishes all previous mesh networking competetion - utterly and completely. I'm so extremely happy. I used to have to run a 150+ foot Ethernet cable, all the way from upstairs to downstairs. Across the kitchen, down the stairswell, into a guest room. It was awful. No longer!

For 5 years, my wife would not stop talking about that cable. We're renewing our wedding vows tonight.

Still a lot better than Google and Linksys but not worth to upgrade from the old Eero to this one. If do don't have an Eero already and you want fast and reliable internet without spending time on setup and maintenance get this one (or a smaller bundle for a smaller house).

Eero is easy to setup (same as the older one) and is very reliable but a Mesh network is not magic, if you have an older house with chicken-wire in the walls or shielding in the floors you will still need to connect each of them to a cable. Just test it, it might work without but the good thing of Eero is that you have that option and it works perfectly, also during setup. This bundle allows all three devices to be connected to a cable, if you don't need that or have a smaller house, get the cheaper bundle. These ones don't have the USB port anymore so you cannot use it to charge your phone or Fitbit and it will never have the option to connect a hard-disk unless you buy a separate NAS.

I also have tried Google Wifi which is a bit slower and unreliable (one died after 30 days, a real hassle to get it replaced, they only want to give a refund for a third of the value for which I cannot buy another unit) and the Linksys Velop which would constantly disconnect the Ring Doorbell and then it lost settings which was extremely painful to setup from the beginning (got rid of it after two days).

Some feature requests if somebody from Eero is reading this, I will give another star if one of these features is implemented:
1) Make it possible to setup a third network besides main and guest. A special one for IOT devices, I don't want my doorbell on my internal network and also not on the guest network, just let those IOT devices connect to the internet, not each other or anything else.
2) Make it possible to prevent certain devices to access the internet, like my printer, I would like to access my printer from my main network but there is absolutely no reason for my printer to call home to HP.
3) Make it possible to limit the bandwidth of the guest network, 5 down and 2 up should be enough, if so I can be a good net-citizen and can leave off the password so anyone can use it.
4) Expose the list of MAC addresses on an API, so you can auto populate it and remotely monitor new devices.
5) Make VPN easy, partner with one of those cheap VPN providers so they can make an one step setup that will enable the Eero to have a persistent VPN connection going out (auto-re-connect), in the App you should be able to select which device(s) needs to go over that VPN channel or block it from accessing internet.

We had such terrible wifi in our house from the moment it was installed. This was using the $200 gateway we have to use with our xfinity cable with phone. We have a three level house, and the router is on the top level. We had spotty internet on the main level, with so much buffering on our Firestick that I usually gave up trying to watch anything with it. We had a terrible connection on the lower level--nearly impossible. We had no wifi to speak of outside the house. About three weeks ago, we installed our Eero system. It took a few minutes. I bridged the gateway, so our wifi is solely via Eero. It's almost miraculous, seriously. We're getting download speeds in the 80's-90's throughout the entire house. I did a speedtest this morning out on the deck, and I got 89.11 down and 13,79 up. This was money well spent! I'd give 10 stars if I could. Total game changer!!!

Description

Ideal for most homes, this system comes with an eero and two eero Beacons that seamlessly cover the typical home in fast, reliable WiFi. It’s simple to set up. Easy to manage. And gets better over time with new features and improved performance. eero is WiFi you never have to worry about. Ios requirements: device running iOS 8.0 or later, Android requirements: device running Android 4.3 or later (tablets included) both eero and eero Beacon are powered by TrueMesh, the software and mesh routing algorithm at the core of the eero system. It’s the next generation of wireless mesh technology, custom-built from the ground up to work perfectly with eero. Taking full advantage of the hardware, it means that your WiFi is not only fast and resilient, but also intelligently adapts to your home. Operating temperature: 0°C-35°C

It all starts with strong, reliable and secure WiFi coverage!!!
When I decided to build a smart home ecosystem, my thoughts were to build from the outside in, thus allowing me to ensure greatest device flexibility and compatibility for future expansion. I studied and followed reviews of every available mesh system for 3 months before making a decision.
Choosing Eero and Eero Plus has proven to be the single most important choice as the backbone of my operation.
Prior to Eero, WiFi in my home was horrendous. I have always subscribed to very high speed (.5-1G) internet but could never get more than 2-3% performance from it. Everything on our system would buffer constantly, even standing next to the router. Now we have no dropped signals and achieve 80-90% even in the backyard and front street. None of the devices on our system experience buffering.
The idea of mesh was enough to sell me on Eero, but considering the low fee for having Eero Plus as the all inclusive anti-virus for every device on my network was icing-on-the-cake. I’ve found that many people don’t understand the importance of having active antivirus, phishing, bot, spy and malware protection for every device on their network. Especially televisions, locks, thermostats, WiFi plugs and switches as these devices are highly susceptible to being hacked. Eero provides live protection from these attacks.
The sprinkles are the ability to “lock-down” and limit my teenagers use, guest access and viewable content. Might I add that customer service is impeccable. It really does seem like this system would have been invented by Apple. The Team at Eero gives “live” support. Having added Alexa and compatible components, I have designed a highly complex yet simple to operate smart home ecosystem.

**Update** Dec 18, 2017**
Eero Plus has gone above and beyond by allowing me to add their "anti-everything" to the three laptops that frequently leave my home. This means that while out on wifi-hotspots Eero is actively working to ensure my device/data integrity.

Hands down best mesh system and customer serivce (period)

I have a two level, 1900sq ft condo. Apple router for years has been o'l steady. Easy to set up and maintain, but as I've added more and more devices and put more demand on it (like big TV upstairs) it just seems tired. I get stutter or just very poor connection; have even used turned off the wifi on my iphone sometimes when in bed at night because it can't keep up with Instagram etc.

So I've been ready for a modern solution. There are a few companies making these so-called mesh systems and I tried the 1st gen Eero without luck. Actually boxed it up and sent it back the first day. I need something that works and works right out of the box. I don't want to spend time with tech support and blah, blah, blah. Too busy for that.

Since Amazon makes it easy, I went ahead and took a chance on version 2. Due to the first trouble I had, I planned on following the instructions one step at a time to give it the best chance of working. The software is really nice this round. I had an easy time with it. And I got better guidance on placement of the beacons. I am now "solid" throughout the house with multiple users and no hiccups after 3 days. Plan on selling my Apple router because this is just a lot better.

I have had my Eero network running for about 6 weeks, and I can say that I am fully satisfied. All the interference with my neighbors wifi is no longer an issue, and since I finally optimized the topology, I haven't had one instance of buffering while streaming a video on my FireTV. That being said, the network did take some effort in finding a configuration that worked in my home.

When I first installed the eero network, I placed the gateway and beacons symmetrically down the central hall of my home. After a few hours, first one and then the other beacon would go offline. After at least an hour with customer support, we determined that one of the radios on the gateway was faulty. I replace the gateway, and the network was more stable, but I experienced lags and buffering on my TV. After a few days, one of the beacons went off line. I tried running with only one beacon and the gateway but eventually the other beacon went off line as well. Additionally, I had trouble keeping our Nest camera connected. The eero network kept trying to connect using a 5Ghz channel through an exterior wall. Outside, there were so many other 5Ghz signals from the neighbors that the camera would constantly drop off the network. At this point I was getting frustrated. I then tried setting up the network, not based upon room location and physical distance between eero devices, but based upon client connection distances and obstructions. I place one beacon right next to my TV and far away from the Nest camera. The other beacon I placed at the other end of the house to service a laptop. With this configuration, the eero network constantly uses a 2.4Ghz channel to connect to the nest camera, and I have not had the camera drop since the change. The TV has worked for over 3 weeks with no buffering issues, and I have full (100Mbs) connectivity everywhere in my home. All beacons are now stable and have not dropped since the change. I am now a very happy camper.

The eero system works well if you take the time to find the optimum topology for your setup. The trick for me seemed to be to not place the beacons so they were equal signal strength from any one client. The client device kept switching back and fourth between the beacons and the gateway, and eventually one of the beacons would drop. One feature that eero could add would be to allow a way to tell the mesh network to only use 2.4Ghz channels for selected devices. The eero app is a perfect place to add this feature. Also the placement suggestions on the eero website are, in my opinion, too simplistic. Home coverage is just one variable. As I discovered, placing the beacons based upon where the clients are is also very important.

In summary, I almost rated this 5 stars because in the end my network seems to work flawlessly, but I think a few improvements could be made to the app to allow some user customization of channels, and some feedback when devices are seen switching between nodes frequently. Incidentally, eero support was also very good. The people I spoke with were helpful and knowledgable. Eero is a good choice for improving wifi coverage.

I purchased the eero Pro WiFi System to replace my aging Apple AirPort Extreme AC access points, which were causing me problems. While maximum speeds on the AirPorts were quite high, I found that they were not easily sustainable and my devices would achieve speeds that were wildly different throughout the day, failing to take advantage of my fast gigabit internet connection by delivering speeds, on average, of ~150 Mbps down and up. Eero has been a highly respected player in the home WiFi game for some time now, so I decided to bite the bullet and jump into mesh WiFi technology with what is regarded as the best (though not cheapest) option. I am not disappointed!

HOME WIFI SYSTEM: eero replaces your existing WiFi access points/router, but not the modem that may be required by your internet service provider (ISP). Simply put, eero is your new WiFi solution, providing you with more flexibility in placement and coverage than what your ISP gives you, without clunky additions like network extenders. You manage everything through the eero app, which securely authenticates you and allows you to see which devices are connected, how much network traffic they are using, and which eero node they are connected to. I’ll get into more details about the app below. Security and feature updates happen automatically, so you can stop worrying about that while still keeping your network and devices secure, and gaining new features along the way.

DESIGN: I absolutely love the way these things look. Apple did a great job with their AirPort devices, but I much prefer eero’s thin and squat frame to the taller design of many other access points. The soft white light on the front that shows you everything is working great is nice, and can be turned off in the app if you prefer. Unfortunately each eero Pro node has just two ethernet ports on the back, which means I had to buy a couple of switches to allow me to plug in devices like my PlayStation 4, Arlo security cameras, desktop PC, etc. Most other brands offer more ports than this, but most people will probably not notice.

MESH WIFI TECHNOLOGY PERFORMANCE: This is the crown jewel of the eero WiFi System, and what differentiates it from most other WiFi systems. This mesh system allows each eero node to intelligently speak to other nodes and your devices, determining the best path for the connection to take to ensure you get the best speeds possible around your home. In real world terms this means that I never have to think about how well my devices will perform as I move around the house. I get insanely awesome coverage from my backyard, basement, main level, porch, and upstairs - and can often use my connection at the park across the street. Speeds vary once I get outside (my house has brick exterior walls), but eero powers through the lathe and plaster, and drywall walls that make up the interior of my house. Coverage issues are not a worry any longer. These pro units are incredibly powerful and do not disappoint in any situation I use them in.

QUICK & EASY SETUP: This is no lie. From start (opening the package) to end (running my first speed test), I invested around 10-15 minutes. I just opened things up, plugged the first unit I grabbed into my first ethernet cable, and watched as the eero app handled everything. I was prompted for a network name and password, and then saw the app take over to get everything configured. After my first eero was set up and turned into the gateway (main) unit, I was asked if I wanted to set up other devices. I went ahead with my next Pro unit, and literally just connected it to power. The app detected it and configured it for my network quickly and automatically. I repeated this process for my third and final unit. Super easy. No configuration beyond the basics is required, and I almost couldn’t believe how quickly I was done. Even the most inexperienced users can get this running in minutes.

WIFI SPEED: I have a gigabit internet connection from Verizon FiOS and while I understand that gigabit speeds are not achievable on home WiFi systems, I wanted to get as close to the theoretical maximum as possible. With my eero Pros I consistently get download speeds around 300-400 Mbps both down and up, depending on where I am located. The closer I am to my gateway (main unit) the faster speeds go, but even through the satellite nodes I am capable of maintaining these speeds. I am just not seeing the usual speed drop-off that tends to happen when you are connecting through satellite WiFi units and not the main base station. Impressive!

MOBILE APP: eero’s app is top of its class. It is easy to use, responsive, and allows for advanced customization (if you want) from anywhere. I love that I can monitor my network and make changes to it while away from my home, allowing me to easily see who is connected and what is using bandwidth on my network. From setup to maintenance the app has everything covered in an elegant but powerful solution.

EERO PLUS: This is a new feature that eero began offering, and I find it well worth the $99 per year fee. This is a completely optional service, but expands the capability of your network significantly. The hallmark feature of Plus is its “Advanced Security” feature, which protects your devices connected to your eero network from accessing malicious websites or services and, if you are already infected, can help prevent the spread of the infection or functionality of the virus by blocking its ability to communicate over the internet. This is especially helpful for smart home devices, which are notoriously vulnerable to hacking. It won’t stop everything, but definitely beefs up your internet security. Next, a new beta feature that blocks ads at the network level was recently introduced. This prevents most ads in websites from being displayed - not only speeding up your browsing but also helping to keep you secure by blocking malicious ads that might try to install spyware or track you without permission. Super cool!

In addition to those great standard features of eero Plus, eero is also introducing new benefits to Plus users in December 2017. This includes free access to 1Password, a super secure and handy password manager, and a VPN app. The VPN keeps your devices secure when you are outside of your network, allowing you to use free WiFi hotspots at Starbucks and hotels (and more) securely. It is an incredible deal and almost pays for the cost of eero Plus!

VALUE: eero is not the cheapest WiFi solution by any means, but it will save you in other ways. eero makes WiFi “set it and forget it”. I don’t have to think about WiFi anymore. It just works, and it’s fast. Constantly rebooting your router is something you’ll stop doing the second you get your eero network set up. New features and updates are happening all the time (especially for Plus users!), which only goes to increase its value over the long lifetime I expect with these. At nearly $500, you can absolutely find cheaper options out there. These alternatives lack eero’s awesome mesh networking, and often have unintuitive user interfaces that require learning to use.

I decided to save myself time and hassle and just spring for this Pro System. It was the most expensive networking solution I’ve ever purchased, but also the one that has made me the happiest.

I replaced a DIY WiFi setup for my 5700 sq ft home with Eero. I'm an IT professional with networking experience, so getting WiFi to cover the house was never a real problem, but AP saturation was becoming an issue with all the kids phones, tablets, laptops, etc. and I needed to do something to replace my older Netgear units. I evaluated Oorbi, Linksys mesh, Ubiquiti, and Eero, as well as building a mesh myself again. I wanted wireline backhaul (I have CAT6 throughout the house and specific Access Point locations with Ethernet connections at each one) so I decided to go with Eero as it is one of the few systems providing this feature. This system is VERY simple to setup, but for IT pros it might be a smidge too simplistic. Everything is done via a phone app, and getting to the details can be difficult if you have any issues. If you have a standalone firewall you will likely have to run in bridge mode, which will also remove many of the more advanced features of the system. One of the frustrating things about this system (again for someone with IT experience) is that it can ONLY be managed via the phone app, there is no deeper or more advanced web or desktop management interface and the company's development roadmap doesn't include one nor do they seem to care about the customer requests for one.

That said, since installing, I've had zero issues with WiFi coverage and unlike my DIY setup where occasionally devices wouldn't cross AP boundaries properly, this is seamless and works flawlessly every time, even for my guest WiFi SSID, which can sometimes be challenging in other systems to get working properly.

This is a great, though expensive system.

Crucial MX500 500GB 3D NAND SATA 2.5 Inch Internal SSD - CT500MX500SSD1(Z)

Crucial MX500 500GB 3D NAND SATA 2.5 Inch Internal SSD - CT500MX500SSD1(Z)

Budget drive? No way, this thing is *FAST* - my jaw just about dropped - this isn't NVME stuff, but near top-end for Sata SSD performance!
This drive runs circles around my Toshiba Q-pro's from 2014 I will say that much, and those are MLC-NAND drives, this one being 3d TLC.
3D TLC removes a hurdle to extended sequential write performance, by allowing more parallelization of the writes for large files once the buffer fills up. TLC nand in 2d form used to slow way down to 120~160mb/s (almost hard drive speeds!) in the first few generations, but this 3d TLC is really fast stuff. This drive is rated for good levels of endurance, and you shouldn't use it up in under a few years without running a server.

Tried transferring some files off the RAID array (which can read faster than this drive) - Started at about 550mb/s and dropped to 495~508mb/s by the end of a 20.x GB transfer of random ZIP files of 300mb to 2.x GB in size while the drive was fresh and new, for a good accurate test.
GREAT performance on an intel Z97 / 4xxx series computer I built a few years ago.
Has GREAT random 4k performance IOPS too (this is what you'll use when you boot Windows and open many complex programs)

I am truly impressed by this drive. The data reads after a month or more haven't slowed down at all. I never bought a TLC-nand drive before, but this 3d TLC nand is really something. If you're an MLC-only kind of guy, and can't quite afford a Samsung 960 Pro NVME drive (or similar), pick this up to hold you over, you might just not care enough to upgrade it after that. It's quite snappy - totally shocked here.

So I found my new go-to for cheap data storage in a machine with about 7-8 SSD's in it, mostly Toshiba drives, if you need to add some storage or want a large boot drive for a new PC, this thing is great. It has pretty good endurance, too, you would be hard pressed to wear it out unless you ran a server, so no worries.
For the Techies:
The speeds on the 1TB model are EVEN BETTER than the 500gb model (though not by too much noticeably to the user), so I am really shocked.
Get the 1TB model if you can afford it. If you just browse the net and don't play many or any games, the 500gb or 256gb model may do just fine.
It's random 4k perf ties/beats my SSD RAID array on the motherboard and the SSD RAID Array on the LSI Megaraid server card, but to be honest, RAID arrays of SSD's while enhancing sequential speeds, don't boost up 4k performance much any, just so you know.
RAID= Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks - these give you reading&writing your data fault tolerance, or more speed, or both, mostly they're for servers or high-end home computers and work-stations.
I do content creation, so I need data-redundancy here, and for that, and occasional large file editing on 3d terrain creation, this drive fits the bill!

Will be getting more of these guys. Can't recommend enough - same with all the tech-site reviewers.

I have a 7 year old desktop tower that had a traditional hard drive. Ever since updating to Windows 10, the boot up was sooooooo slow. It was time to update to a solid state drive (SSD).

I chose this brand because their website had information showing that it is compatible with my exact brand and model of desktop. They also had excellent instructions on their website for how to clone my old hard drive to the new one.

PROs:
- Easy installation
- Easy to clone old hard drive (needed some extra devices / products to help with this)
- It was like my computer was exactly the same - all my programs and files were just there with the cloning process and now its super fast.
- The cloning software on Crucial's site is called Acronis. Not sure if this more recently available than some of the other reviews on here.
- Lightening fast boot up
- Bios instantly recognized the SSD as the boot drive. I didn't have to do any additional configuration.
- Information on Crucial's website was very helpful

CONs:
- The cloning process involves some additional equipment like a SATA to USB cable that you'll use just one time. I bought this one: Sabrent USB 3.0 to SSD / 2.5-Inch SATA Hard Drive Adapter [Optimized For SSD, Support UASP SATA III] (EC-SSHD)
- It wasn't clear from Crucial's information that I would need to purchase a converter kit from the 2.5 inch drive to a 3.5 inch bay.

ADVICE:
Every desktop and laptop is different, so the extra equipment you will need may be different from mine.
1. Be sure to back up all of your files prior to doing anything.
2. With the power to your computer OFF and UNPLUGGED, open the case and identify where your current hard drive is located. Figure out how it is mounted. Mine had rails that screwed in to the front of the bay and attached to the hard drive.
3. You'll probably need a converter kit if you're installing it on a desktop computer. Just search for 2.5 to 3.5 hard drive converter and you should find some options.
4. Buy a new SATA cable so you are getting the maximum performance from your new SSD. I bought this one: Monoprice 18-Inch SATA III 6.0 Gbps Cable with Locking Latch and 90-Degree Plug - Blue
5. Cloning is the easiest way to go, which means your operating system, files, software and everything need to be transferred from your old hard drive to your new one. The Acronis software from Crucial's website made this easy. There were a few little quirks with this:
a. The SSD has to be plugged into the PC, otherwise you cannot install the software. This is where the SATA to USB cable comes in real handy.
b. The software gives you the options of automatic or manual settings for cloning. On the SSD, you do not need a partition. There is no performance gain to this, so if your old hard drive is partitioned, you might want to choose the manual settings. I did the manual settings, just to make sure the software was reading the correct drives.
c. When you start the cloning process, you'll get a message that the PC needs to be restarted. You have to let it restart. When it does, the computer will go into a mode that is controlled by the Acronis software and it will start the cloning process. There is a check box to "Shut down when complete". Leave that checked.
d. Depending on how big your old hard drive is, this process will take SEVERAL HOURS. I started mine before I went to bed and everything was done when I woke up. It was probably about 3 hrs. Anyway, my point is that it's not something you'll finish in one evening.

EDIT/UPDATE -- in browsing other reviews for this Crucial MX500, I noticed one that mentioned not getting an "activation code" for Acronis-- this was Crucial's prior system (download from Acronis directly, then use Crucial's code) -- CURRENTLY (April 2018) need to go to crucial(dotcom)/support/ssd and launch their Online SSD install guide -- at the second Stage (if I remember) there's a link to the Acronis Cloning software (you DO need to have your new Crucial SSD already plugged to USB) -- it will Install & Activate directly w/o a code, once it recognizes the Crucial SSD

ALSO -- another reviewer mentioned Acronis auto-rebooting to clone -- this (maybe) depends on your current partition scheme or particular hardware, or maybe on your OS & version. In my case (Windows 10 ver 1709), once I selected "Automatic" mode & set "Source" & "Target" then "Proceed" -- a toast popped up about "Locking Source disk . . " & next the Cloning progress bar opened right over the Windows Desktop (I was, of course, Locked Out from doing anything else -- but mine did Clone directly from Windows 10)

IMPORTANT (probably?) -- Crucial's guides do say to LEAVE YOUR NEWLY-CLONED SSD PLUGGED TO USB, UNTIL THE COMPUTER IS FULLY SHUTDOWN. When my Cloning completed & gave prompt to "Shutdown now," I wondered if Windows "Fast Start" would write another "hiber.fil" to disk -- so I opened Command Prompt (as Admin) & entered "shutdown.exe /s /f /t 0" -- then worried if that was a mistake (not in Crucial's instructions). I can report it did work though -- once I got the MX500 SSD installed & laptop back together, it booted fine first time, and no issues since. So the "shutdown.exe /s /f /t 0" command will work (though probably not necessary)

Just wanted to clarify some points ( & hopefully help) after seeing some who struggled finding/ Activating the Acronis software, or who described a different cloning process (maybe due to hardware/OS involved ?) As described below, I found the process fairly simple -- so long as you launch from Crucial's Online SSD Install guide (crucial(dotcom)/support/ssd -- then scroll down & find it)
==============================================================================

This was my 3rd HDD to SSD upgrade for various family laptops (all Crucial brand, did two "MX300" about a year ago, this newer model "MX500" just now), & have to say -- Crucial, with the current Acronis download they provide SSD customers, have made disk-cloning absolutely simple. The last Acronis I had used still required creating a "USB Tools" stick, booting from that to clone, so Windows drive could be unmounted for the process -- This Current Acronis can successfully "lock" the internal drive, so you can clone right from the Windows Environment, to your new SSD plugged into USB (via SATA3/USB adapter cable or HDD-to-USB enclosure -- if you don't have one, will need to order w/ your SSD).

Actually, Crucial has made the entire "Drive Swap" aspect of the upgrade easy-peasy, between their Acronis partner software & detailed online guides. Big problem I have is the trend toward Fully-Internal batteries in today's slimmer-lighter notebooks -- prying one open without bumping the Power Button into an accidental half-open boot can be a sphincter-clenching experience. Once that battery is unplugged, swapping the fresh -cloned SSD into the caddy or bracketry & connecting SATA3 is simple -- then the issue of snapping the laptop all back together without pinching LCD/Touchscreen/WiFi Antenna cables is again tense (YouTube >> search your Model "disassembly" -- stiff plastic guitar-pick to pry -- PATIENCE & deep breaths).

The Upside -- speed/ less power/ less heat/ less weight/ Silence -- of SSD over HDD are true of all, or at least "known-brands" like Samsung/ SanDisk/ PNY/ Kingston, etc, as well as this "Crucial" (Micron) brand. May not want to trust your Data/ OS/ & entire boot-process to an "off-brand" for the sake of a few dollars (I wouldn't) -- but for the big names, your choice probably rests as much on your comfort-level with the Cloning Tools/ Guides/ Support offered by a particular brand as on price. Shop & compare similar tech (ie, 3D NAND) of similar generations, & be sure you are comparing "consumer grade" with "consumer grade" and "Pro" with "Pro" -- you'll likely find prices of similar size-class are within a few dollars, brand to brand. For myself, I'm 3 for 3 now with Crucial "MX-" series SSD's -- given my skill-level, I'm thrilled with Crucial !!
==================================================
Couple of things, post-install . . . .
1. Windows 10 has "Drive Optimaztion" (de-frag) turned ON by default -- most sources say this is pointless on an SSD (no platter to spin or Read/Write head to move -- Solid State drives can access any cell, any time, at pretty much same speed), and *may* even be detrimental to an SSD. The firmware may scatter files & data for cell "wear-leveling," and we Don't want Windows clumping that back up. So tap "Start" begin typing "optimize" & click the top result "Defragment and Optimize Drives" -- when it opens, click to Highlight your "C:\\" drive in top box, click the "Advanced" button below, and UN-check "Run on a Schedule. . ."

2. For "typical" users, you should go back to Crucial's support/ssd website, download & install "Crucial Storage Executive." Once you have it open, click "Momentum Cache" & then "Enable." Pro-users have pointed out in other reviews (see "MX300 series" reviews) there are lighter, more efficient tools for managing an SSD -- if you're a Pro, you know what they are. For the rest of us, Crucial makes things simple with Storage Executive

3. My "MX500" SSD went in a Dell Inspiron 3169 (Core m3 - 6th gen) & this laptop has 4 GB DDR3L soldered on -- no SODIMM slots at all. I've noticed Q&A on some other laptops with a single SODIMM (factory 4 GB) ask about upgrading to 8GB -- if you have a laptop/notebook with only 4 GB and an HDD, I'd recommend the SSD upgrade FIRST. Extra RAM shows on Heavy-Multi-tasking or intensive video editing -- the SSD improves Performance on EVERYTHING, every day. Besides, the much faster Read/Write of an SSD vastly improves paging file access (Windows "Virtual Memory" or Linux "swap space") -- many "typical" users *might* find 4 GB RAM is enough, with SSD paging . . .

I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I was able to clone my entire hard drive (250 GB used of 1000 GB) to the MX500 SSD. I used Acronis True Image 2016 following the instructions for using the "Acronis bootable media" cloning process. Here's what I like about the drive: #1 Perfect silence (hard drive clunking and thumping are gone), #2 Windows 10 boots faster, #3 Some applications like Quicken 2017 & Excel seem quicker to load (but didn't measure so may be my imagination), and #4 My daily Acronis backup (in the background) of my entire computer to a network drive only took about 1 hour versus 5 hours before (didn't expect this and can't explain it). I had expected a couple C# applications that load huge files taking 13 seconds and 17 seconds to load with my old old drive to load faster with the MX500 SSD but they did not (again I can't explain this). Would buy this drive again!!!

I installed this on my 2009 13" Macbook Pro and it has made a huge difference. I would recommend this to anyone looking to replace a HDD.

Background:
I have a 2009 Macbook Pro that was too slow to use.

Steps to Install:
I followed the iFixit.com guide to replace my HDD with this SSD for the most part.
1) Connect this SSD to your computer using a USB to SATA adapter such as this one: Sabrent USB 3.0 to SSD / 2.5-Inch SATA Hard Drive Adapter [Optimized For SSD, Support UASP SATA III] (EC-SSHD).
2) Download SuperDuper! for Mac to backup your current HDD to the SSD. I tried to use my Mac's Disk Utility but it would not work. SuperDuper worked great and I was able to clone my HDD to the SSD.
3) Test that the backup works by changing the startup disk your computer uses by going to System Preferences > Startup Disk and selecting the SSD which is connected to your MacBook. Restart your Mac and verify it starts correctly when booting from the SSD. If this works successfully move on to the next step.
4) Shut down your computer.
5) Open up you MacBook and replace the HDD with the SSD. Follow the iFixit guide for detailed steps.
6) Start your computer.
7) Enable trim for your SSD by going in the Terminal and entering the command "sudo trimforce enable."

If all of these steps work successfully you should notice a significant speed improvement on your Mac. I was going to upgrade my RAM from 4GB to 8GB but I might not because the speed improvement is so significant from upgrading to a SSD.

Description

Start your system in seconds, store up to 2TB of data, and upgrade with an SSD you can count on. Join more and more people who are keeping their family videos, travel photos, music, and important documents on an SSD, and get the near-instant performance and lasting reliability that comes with solid state storage. Upgrade with the Crucial MX500 SSD, a drive built on quality, speed, and security that’s all backed by helpful service and support. Even if you’ve never installed an SSD, don’t fear – our step-by-step guide walks you through the process to make installation easy. It’s worth it. When handling your mSATA SSD, be sure to hold it along the side edges using your thumb and index finger. Avoid touching the components and connectors, as damage can occur

This is a great SSD but if you're upgrading an HP Pavilion (2018 vintage) with an Intel Core processor (i.e. Core i7), you'll have to deal with the HP/Intel UEFI in order to bypass their security routine. If you don't, you'll get a "missing driver" message or some other nonsense, which is UEFI looking for a specific sector on your hard drive that holds validation codes that allow your hard drive to boot. You'll need to get to the BIOS settings (tap ESC repeatedly during boot, then tap F10) to get to the BOIS settings, then "enable" 'Legacy Support' (i.e. turn off UEFI security) to allow the non-factory-installed SSD to integrate into your laptop. You need to do this while your old hard drive is still installed, then re-boot to make the settings stick. THEN do your cloning, THEN swap out drives, and you should be good.

Price per capacity is excellent, about as good as the more costly Samang EVO series stuff. $70 for a 250Gb SSD that performs with the top drives is just fantastic. The included Acronis True Image software (serial number) that Crucial gives with their drives, for free, is awesome so that you can clone your existing drive completely to the new SSD. It only works with Crucial drives, but it saves you the pain of total overhaul re-installs when you get the new drive. It works perfectly and fast. I've used it twice on two separate Crucial SSD's and it's flawless. Plus you can keep using Acronis software with your Crucial SSD to do backups/clones. Having a cloned/backup drive around to avoid slow, painful, time-consuming total re-installs is fantastic. Big plus to Crucial for going the extra mile to provide Acronis for free.

The prices for these SSD hard drives have come down significantly over the last couple of years. As a result, it is now affordable and worth every dollar to replace the old 5400RPM Hard drives in our 2011/12 Macbook Pros with a solid state drive. The whole process (outside of cloning the drive) takes less than 15 minutes to complete if you follow the instructions. There are only nine phillips head screws on the bottom panel of the laptop that need to be removed, a couple more that hold the drive in place and then the four torx (T6) posts that are on the drive.

In regards to performance, the new Crucial drive has completely eliminated the spinning beachball my kids were experiencing when using the computer. Likewise, instead of having to wait over 2 minutes for the laptop to boot up, it takes less than a minute now. Opening applications is extremely quick, as well.

There are extensive instructions out on the web that provide a step-by-step guide to completing the upgrade. For starters, you are going to need a USB 3.0 to 2.5” SATA III Hard Drive Adapter Cable to clone your existing drive (free cloning software is available). AMZ has a great cable for about $11 (StarTech.com USB 3.0 to 2.5” SATA III Hard Drive Adapter Cable w/ UASP – SATA to USB 3.0 Converter for SSD/HDD - Hard Drive Adapter Cable). The cloning takes a long time to complete, but once done, you can just drop the newly cloned Crucial SSD into your Macbook and it will boot up just like the old HD. Overall, I'm very impressed with the Crucial drive. Here are some of the pre and post SSD install time differences.

BOOT-UP
(OLD HD): 2 MINUTES, 15 SECONDS -> NEW SSD: 47 SECONDS

OPEN WORD
(OLD HD): 1 MINUTE, 3 SECONDS -> NEW SSD: 5 SECONDS

OPEN CHROME
(OLD HD): 31 SECONDS -> NEW SSD: 3 SECONDS

SHUTDOWN

I have an older model Dell XPS 630i running dual 5.5" 1 TB Western Digital WD1002FBYS (Enterprise Storage) drives with 32M cache setup in a RAID 0 configuration in order to maximize read/write operations. I'm also running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. I decided to replace that config with a single 3.5" Crucial MX500 1TB drive (no RAID) and I'm glad I did. As others have stated, my performance went through the roof. You might think that a disk really only gets affected when you try to save a file or launch a program. That is really not the case. The disk plays a central role to the overall performance of your system and is directly involved in moving data from physical storage to virtual (memory). Depending upon how much memory (RAM) you have, your system might need to do a lot of paging from RAM to disk. If so, this can clobber your performance especially if your disk is not up to it. If your disk is a clunky, slow mess then your performance will be the same. To give you an idea of how this simple drive replacement affected my system (I won't quote read/write metrics as others have stated those in their reviews) - before the replacement the Microsoft Windows Experience Index (WEI - scale of 1.0 to 7.9) for my machine was 5.9 largely due to the disk. After the replacement my WEI is now 7.0. It would be better if my machine wasn't 10+ years old. (Note: Over the years I've upgraded my graphics & sound card, added a USB 3.0 card, and replaced my RAM a couple of times. I replaced my Western Digital drives about a year ago). So that is all well and good, but how does it actually affect my experience. Well, login used to take about 1-2 minutes from a fresh boot (login, wait until the desktop paints, wait until all my auto-start programs launch and are ready, etc.). Now login takes about 10 seconds. Launching apps like MS Office takes about 1-2 seconds.

A couple of things to note about Crucial and the migration process from current to new disk:
0. You need to initialize and format the SSD disk so that your system, and the migration tools, will recognize it. The instructions do not mention this.
1. You need to either purchase a SATA-to-USB cable to connect your drive to a USB port in order to "prep" it, or you need a free bay and SATA port inside your computer to install the drive along side your existing drives.Remember, you need to actually clone your current disk to SSD
2. The Crucial software tools (Software Executive) and migration tool (Acronis Migration) tool just didn't/dont' work. Neither tool could recognize the new Crucial disk and neither would run without recognition. Crucial instructions are to use Acronis to perform the partition migration (clone) to the new drive
3. I used a freeware tool called MiniTool Partition Wizard which worked phenomenally well. It has an option for cloning to SSD. It immediately identified my new disk migrated the partition, wiped my old disk and rebooted my machine. After a couple of hours I came back and simply logged in and was good to go. I ran CheckDisk to verify the files, etc. on the new disk and everything was perfect.

I'm super happy with this upgrade and my 10+ year old Dell tower is now running like a brand new machine. If you're thinking its time to buy a new machine, you might want to consider an SSD upgrade first.

I ordered this drive to upgrade a dying mid 2010 27" iMac. I was a little hesitant to do the replacement work myself but using online videos it was an absolute breeze! This SSD has made my iMac feel SO much faster and powerful that I am going to hold off on the upgrade that I had promised myself. If you plan to install this into an iMac that had a traditional spinning HDD, you need to purchase an adapter bracket (that is available here on Amazon as well - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005PZDVF6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) so that you can place this drive into your computer. Once it is in, the computer just hums! Once you go SSD, using a traditional HDD is just plain painful!

6.5 Inch Marine Speakers (Pair) - 2-way IP-X4 Waterproof and Weather Resistant Outdoor Audio Dual Stereo Sound System with 600 Watt Power and Low Profile Design - Pyle PLMR652W (White)

6.5 Inch Marine Speakers (Pair) - 2-way IP-X4 Waterproof and Weather Resistant Outdoor Audio Dual Stereo Sound System with 600 Watt Power and Low Profile Design - Pyle PLMR652W (White)

These speakers sound great! I was able to really crank up the volume and they handled it perfectly. The speaker was a little larger in diameter than my original, so it was a bit more work than expected to enlarge the hole in the fiberglass.

Had to return them.

Exactly what I needed

Sound good for a small boat - priced right - it's marine stuff.

The product was well packaged, and arrived on schedule. Mounting was a breeze and the speaker frames are sturdy and not capable of corrosion. Standard two pole hook up. Sounds great on my pontoon boat, good base response and clarity throughout vocal and instrument ranges.

Peter Rabbit Organics, Pea, Spinach and Apple Puree, 4.4-Ounce Pouches (Pack of 10)

Peter Rabbit Organics, Pea, Spinach and Apple Puree, 4.4-Ounce Pouches (Pack of 10)

I actually bought these for me (an adult) for a healthy snack in between meals or for an after breakfast snack, and all I can say was that these are super convenient and yummy! It wasnt too sweet. The flavor combination was perfect. I love that they make these for kids, and why cant adults take advantage of them too?! I like that i can put the cap back on if i dont finish it in one seating. I like them cold as oppose to room temperature, and like to have them right before lunch, during lunch or anytime after lunch. I feel like its a little too sweet for a breakfast food.
The portion size is alright for a snack, but for a kid im sure it is more than enough. It fills me up enough to take the edge off. I recommend these.

So I guess I eat baby food. I've had to cut a lot of foods out of my diet due to allergies, and right now am prohibited from pretty much everything except meat, veggies, fruit, nuts and seeds. These snacks are such a savior! I freeze them and throw a couple in my bag for work, and have them with a meal or as a snack. They are not sweetened at all, so if you're looking for something sweeter you'll want to go with one of the all-fruit ones. But they are delicious, super healthy, and incredibly easy to eat/travel with.

This is quite interesting. Clearly this is being made for toddlers.... and more power to them. However, I (adult) was looking for nutrition during high stress workshops but, didn't want the caffeine, sugar, or high fructose corn syrup. Then I stumbled upon these and what a hoot. Because they don't have ANY added sugars (sweeteners) they aren't as "sweet" as what I at least, have been used to consuming. So, there is a bit of an adjustment period to come to terms to just how much sweetener must be being added to the other products - ugh.

What is on the label is what is in the package! It tastes good and works for my application. I have found that chilled is better than room temperature and shaking them up first is also helpful. I have poured them out to mix with other juices - clearly these were not made by a marketing company or, to be seen - it isn't pretty but it is a good product!

I consulted the expert on Peter Rabbit Organics pouches, my 3-year-old toddler, on his opinion about his food. After a microsecond of consideration, he asked, "Can I have a pouch please, Mommy? I want the bunny pouch." He will frequently ask for the bunny pouch over all the other pouches we buy to satiate the bottomless pit that is a little boy.

He can suck one of these dry in about 2 minutes flat, and leave a crumpled foil ball for the recycling. Let this stand as testament to their quality. When he is sick and will eat nothing else, he will eat this by the box.

It warms me to the cockles of my maternal heart he decides he needs the healthy, wholesome pouch with the least added sugar, rather than the saccharine bombs masquerading behind titles like 'berry yoghurt.' I've been stocking his lunch bags and mealtimes with these since he was 7 months old, and we've tried nearly every combination under the sun. For children just starting out on solid foods, definitely play around and see what appeals to their palate. He likes the pea, spinach, and apple, though he would eat the pumpkin all day long given the opportunity. The best part, all of Peter Rabbit products meet a good nutritional standard and similarly low sugar content. They say they're made only of fruit or vegetables, and the ingredient list supports that.

The fruit / veg pouches are seriously effortless. Have a toddler who won't eat fruit or veggies? My paediatrician says giving him these will meet his nutritional needs, no problem, and she supports him devouring them like a small monstrous beast. They travel wonderfully; throw them in a bag and go. No heating is necessary and neither do you need water or a bowl. Just suck the contents straight out; I see plenty of cyclists and athletes running in city parks doing this unashamed. Best of all, you can recycle them in many jurisdictions.

Amazon gives the best bang for the buck, and they beat local retailers for availability for flavours (and I live in a very large city).

Delicious. Yummy. Great healthy pick me up. Keep in car for emergencies. Great for addition to lunch at work. Quick breakfast. Midnight snack. A little difficult to open. I stay on a low calorie diet year round because of a lower metabolism as I get older. So I try to make every bite count with nutritional value. I am mostly vegetarian/vegan as well.

    Description

Peter Rabbit Organics snacks are ideal for babies from 6 months + and toddlers. They contain nothing but 100% USDA Certified Organic vegetables and fruit. The convenient squeezable pouch is re-sealable & doesn’t need to be chilled, which makes them a great snack for children that can be eaten anywhere. We never add water, so each pouch counts as one of your child’s ‘Five a day’.

I came across Peter Rabbit several years ago and love that it is organic and very simple (and the packet sizes are usually around 4 oz, which is a little bigger than average packets, as I find). My kids love them - even the heavy-veggie flavors. I've been buying them in bulk for at least 2 years as they are awesome for road trips, packed lunches, or a snack when I am too lazy or busy to make a plate of veggies. One thing to note - the packet contents are a little thicker than others, which I think is good, because when we open them in the car, it does not explode all over unlike some of the more liquid-y pouches.

I know these are marketed as baby food but my teenagers love them. We use them as lunch box and picnic snacks. We buy a lot of individual sized apple sauces and my kids definitely prefer Peter Rabbit brand. The flavors are more interesting and quite delicious. I have tasted them and they taste smoother, and creamier than other apple sauces. They are also more expensive so I don’t buy them as often but when I do, they are gone from the snack bin like lightning.

I've been looking for alternatives to Gu while riding/racing my bike. I still use the Gu (I really like Roctane), but these fruit purees are fantastic for milder and more ongoing nutrition - especially on longer rides. They're pretty low calorie, so not great as a base energy source, but they're super easy to eat/drink - and they fit really well in a jersey pocket. I have reordered (multiple flavors - I genuinely like them all - they're fruit!) several times now.

This is my first purchase of the Peter Rabit fruit purée and I chose the apple & grape flavor for my daughter. It tastes good but I think it’s too sweet compared to other fruits/baby yogurt/puffs she eats. I didn’t read the label carefully, which indicates 22g sugar (including 7g added sugar) in a 113g pouch. Next time I would try other less sweet flavors.

Deliciousness! I bought these for my baby’s peter rabbit 1st birthday treat table! I wanted something natural & organic for the baby’s that were attending so I didn’t miss anyone 😊 totally a hit! These are sold at Starbucks for 2/3$ a piece & they are sooo delicious. I always buy them for my baby when I buy myself a Starbucks & that’s where I got the idea to look online for them! They vanished off the treat table in minutes of the party starting & I even saw a few parents steal some tastes from the toddlers & baby’s 😉 Not only was it a great price, but they’re all organic with only Apples, Peach & lemon juice for preservation!

Bose soundlink Mini II Limited Edition Bluetooth Speaker

Bose soundlink Mini II Limited Edition Bluetooth Speaker

I had one of these for a couple years. Some teenager working with a sublet contractor on my jobsite took off with it. I guess he knew the value and quality! Over the last couple of months I tried 3 different "similar looking" speakers as I did not want to spend the money for the Bose. Well, after 2 of them sitting on the shelf in the garage as they are junk... the 3rd one ended up there too as I couldn't hear it over my garden hose while watering my plants. :( So, I came in and ordered another BOSE - and you know what?......... It is worth every penny!!! Just keep an eye on it.

This little speaker is amazing! Not a rich man but doing well the price was from my “treat “ fund. I first heard Bose speakers at a friends home in the early 70s, looking around trying to figure out where his tunes were coming from when he pointed to two stands with small boxes on them. They were no bigger as I recal then a small cereal box that you cut open and use as a bowl. I think he had a bass or woofer on the floor but the point being it was a tremendous sound!

Jump to February of this year and I purchased this amazing speaker! I have several small blue tooth speakers in the 30 dollar range, but we are comparing watermelons to cherries here.

The video is from a very inexpensive michrophone, 30 dollar range which you will see.
But look at the spectrum analysis of what the mike is inputting to.
Each division represents 250 Hertz (cycles per second for some of us elderly gentlemen! Lol)
So at the left end you see zero to 250 Hertz in the first “square” the next division to the right is 250 to 500 Hertz. Middle C on a piano is around the “A” 440 Hertz so its in this or the next “square”. The “square” or division (sorry for going back and forth between division and square!) at the far right shows the frequencies between 2,250 Hertz and 2,500 Hertz in the over tones. Hope this makes sense. This is a visual representation of the music broken down showing the frequencies coming out of the Bose speaker through a very inexpensive microphone. If you play the video you will hear it as well
Yes I will recommend this speaker to my friends!

I ordered this because my other Boise speaker is well over 5 years old and just a little weary....so i read this product may go off market (why??) And i wanted to have another around. I love this little speaker...i use it all the time in my home and outside in the yard. I wouldnt reccomend it for boats and such as the platform it sits on to recharge could be ruined with dirt, dust and moisture...but you do have the ability to charge directly into the speaker itself, leaving the platform inside the home. It is definitely a great little speaker with a big sound. I get lots of comments on the quality of sound....i gave it a four-star rating only because some design engineers decided on the new model to shorten the power cord! Not sure why, but its a bit of a pain to plug in for me....i have to find the right spot rather than leaving it on a counter top....the old model had a long cord. Other than this its essentially the same great speaker. Id reccomend this product

The sound is exactly what you would expect from Bose, no surprise there. This speaker is also a tank so don’t worry about accidental drops and falls with it because it’ll just shrug them off, no problem.

On the flip side, the software inside is pretty finicky. The biggest Bluetooth problems usually occur within the first couple minutes of pairing. I’ve noticed that if my phone isn’t already playing music, pairing is not automatic. Also, it loves to pick up any device that has been connected in the past. For example, I usually play music from my iPhone, but it will frequently connect to my laptop (which is closed and shut down) while I’m streaming from my phone. Another problem is using the device until the battery dies. I frequently run it from 100% to dead. But once it dies and I plug it in to charge, it will not turn on Bluetooth until it is fully charged. So you need to be aware of battery life. Better to go 10 minutes without music while looking for the charger, versus playing it till dead and having to wait until it is fully charged again.

great big sound out of a small box, Bose quality as usual

This speaker really sounds great considering it’s size. Very Happy with the sound quality

Best portable Bluetooth speaker on the market. Also have UE Mega Boom for outdoors but the Bose is far superior.

This is my second Bose soundlink - it has amazing sound, is super easy to move around or take with. Love it!!!! This one was delivered on time and has a nice new look in black!

Amazing sound quality. Bluetooth feature is easy to set up and pair. Very handy for parties or just relaxing. Would definitely recommend. BOSE speakers are outstanding.

Having owned Bose products all my life, that bar has been set, and it's hard to accept anything less than that level of quality. That being said, here comes the good and not so good with this particular product.
When I received this amazing little marvel yesterday, I immediately got her synced to the Note 8 (yeah...I'm a year behind) and proceeded to cook the evening meal (in the kitchen) jamming to Amazon music. (kitchen is the key word here).
The sound quality, depth, and clarity is simply amazing. I was blown away that, that rich of a sound was coming from this little speaker (in my kitchen). However, it was not my intended use for this item to be used in the kitchen. The intended use was to be in the shop I work in. Took this into work today, fully charged. (Supposedly, fully charged is good for 10 hours). After about 1 hour of trying to hear what was being played, at full volume, I swapped back over to the old Lax-Max speaker...which I have to turn the volume down with. (No, the sound quality is not quite the same...hence the attempt at the Bose purchase). Brought the Bose back home, set back in the kitchen, and when powered up, the cute little voice tells me I have 3 hours of battery life left? But wait, I only used you for an hour?
Bottom line: if you don't intend to use this in a room, in your house, or in a non-background noise area...I would pass on this one. I'm on the fence at this point if I will keep or return.
Sounding kick-ass in my "kitchen" right now though...
Update 1-23-19: The battery seems to be holding a charge just fine, and remains in my possession
