VitaminSea Organic Dulse Flakes Seaweed - 4 oz Maine Coast - USDA & Vegan Certified - Kosher - Perfect for Keto or Paleo Diets - Atlantic Ocean - Sun Dried - Raw and Wild Sea Vegetables (DF4)

This product is awesome! I can add the nutritional benefit of seaweed to food I cook everyday...and my family does not complain. I have never been a huge fan of the flavor of seaweed; it is usually just too fishy tasting for me. This dulse is different. No fishy taste, just kind of a slightly salty smokiness. flavor works wonderful in soups and stews, spaghetti, vegetables, or just about anything you cook that is on the savory side. It also adds visual appeal to food with its pretty red color. It looks beautiful dusted atop deviled eggs or floating languidly in a soup. This was recommended by a dietitian as way to increase the nutritional value of a dish ( trace minerals found in seaweed), without significantly altering the flavor profile. Glad I tried it.

Got thyroid problems? My brother did. They wanted to put him on synthetic thyroid medication to boost his low thyroid blood levels. I told him that once he started taking synthroid, his own thyroid gland would atrophy and he would have to be on medication the rest of his life. I told him to start eating dulse seaweed to boost his thyroid production naturally. It worked! He never had to take medication and it has been a couple of years now and he is fine. I ship him a bag of this product periodically to keep him healthy. He likes the flavor and enjoys it as a snack.

I live in California now and am so glad you are selling this on Amazon. Mom used to dry this on white sheets on the beach, and it is clear that you follow a similar process. I have ordered twice from you and when received the raw Dulse has been excellent quality, proper moisture level in particular which was hit or miss some times even in local grocery stores back east. Love the stuff.

Nice and soft and easy to eat right out of the package. Great on salads and sprinkled as a garnish for soup. I am not a fan of fishy flavor, and really dislike nori because it is too fishy. Dulse is completely different than that and has a good salty, briny flavor without being fishy. The more I add it to dishes, the more I like it. And it is so amazingly healthy. This brand is very good. I've only tried two other brands in addition to this one, and VitaminSea is definitely the softest and freshest I've had so far.

I couldn't be happier with this product!!(Except for the cost) My father and I enjoyed this treat when I was a little girl(early 60's).Got it from the fish monger in the local market. My parents knew from that point on that I would eat(or at least TRY) PRETTY MUCH ANYTHING!!LOL! I had forgotten about it until my father passed a while ago and I decided to Google "dulse".Great memories around this stuff and I'm glad It's back in my life!!

I used this seaweed to make a Dead Sea Salt and Seaweed bath soak. It is absolutely marvelous. Combined with the Dead Sea salts, it makes your bath smell like the sea - without the fishy smells. It is SO relaxing and leaves your skin super soft!

I was glad to discover this brand from the Maine area. I feel that it is a clean area(hopefully). I do not buy from Japan due to the concern about radiation. I also support US business and economy when possible. I like the salty taste (but it can be rinsed to reduce that). The reason I gave 4 stars is because of insufficient nutritional data on the package. They do not tell the iodine, potassium, or sodium content. From a nutritional standpoint, getting those minerals, especially iodine, and some trace minerals is the purpose of consuming dulse. I would still recommend this product. I just use the recommended serving size.

We are using ur products. Hubby commented when I gave him a
couple of leafs, " this is like chewing tobacco!" You know, since he chewed
that stuff many years ago I know he can chew this stuff for good health
now. LOL. He's not complaining. HE'S hopeful it's a good part of the team
of supplements he's using for Parkinson's relief through metal detox. Thank
you for providing the flake and the leaf forms. We are putting it in his
smoothies. God bless you all.

It’s seaweed all right. Not the addictively delicious and crunchy snack type though. I suppose I may be biased as I’m allergic to both fish and shellfish. However I must say I’ve had zero allergic reaction to this so for that I’m grateful, I just don’t like the taste or smell. But it is exactly what it claims to be, plain seaweed. Hopefully it’s healthy for me.

I have been using these flakes in my scrambled eggs in the morning and sneaking them into things like ground beef and soups. No one has noticed! I really can't say that I've tasted them yet. If I am tasting them then they are a very nice flavor that is blending well. :)
