Nice size chunks of chicken for sandwiches, soups, and casseroles, but it would be a shame to waste the tasty broth if you drain the liquid off to make a sandwich. I love using the broth instead of milk when I make macaroni and cheese from a box, and mixing the chicken in to the macaroni and cheese makes a very simple, very tasty main dish. Or you can add it to condensed soup instead of water. Also good cooked with a frozen package of rice and vegetables, maybe with a dash of soy sauce or some other seasoning. Much quicker than preparing these dishes by cooking raw chicken, so it is a convenient way to make a quick meal when you have limited time. It does make tasty enough sandwiches too, if you want something that you can eat on your way someplace or for a picnic. Or if you really like sandwiches, or you have really great sandwich bread. I like soups and stews and casseroles better, especially made with this canned chicken, so I think that the picture on the can is silly, but I do like this canned chicken in a sandwich better than I like most sandwiches.
I think I'm healthier when I eat no meat at all. For one thing, I don't need to use any deodorant when I don't eat meat. However, I crave chicken on an again and this canned chicken breast is excellent quality. I hope the chickens that provide it have lived somewhat happy lives and were not in factory farms where every day for them was a horror.
Great for when you're feeling lazy. I just dump a can of this into some rice, cheese, and frozen cauliflower and make bachelor's casserole. Great survival food too.

As with most canned chicken, it tastest a little salty and the consistency is different than freshly cooked chicken (more on the mushy side, but overall it's still quite solid). I like putting this on salads that I bring to work or in chicken chili when I don't feel like taking the time to cook chicken. It's also good to have a few cans in the pantry in case of bad weather. Overall I recommend this brand.
Works great when you're out of idea of what to make. Chicken is enough to make chicken salad or hot dish. High recommend this, it has been around a long time
I have found that this is the BEST breast chicken meat! Great for sandwiches, soup, casserole, etc. We have found that it is the BEST is cost for wonderful meat and the juice left can also be used with any other items you want to add for your flavor. Great BUY!
I wanted a nice chicken salad sandwich without the cooking....I don't usually buy prepackaged foods...but I said...hey..my Mom trusted swanson and we had some mighty tasty TV dinners in the past...so we gave it a whirl and I would buy this again....tastes like chicken...but then again so do frogs legs I am told..but it passes my test for taste.
Great for chicken tacos and chicken salad for sandwiches. (Sometimes, for chicken salad, I start with ranch dressing in place of mayonnaise. Adds a little flavor.) Good item to have around for snow storms (if you can’t get to the store), or when you’re too lazy (or perhaps too sick) to actually cook a chicken. Add to (chicken-flavored) ramen noodles for “College Kids Delight”!
