I love fruit Mentos, but they really are like crack. I started off with just recreationally eating them now and then, but that quickly turned into a roll a day habit and then just out and out nonstop munching and now I can't stop! They are just so good!
The package comes with 15 rolls of these beauties. Each rolls has the following flavors: strawberry, orange, and my personal favorite, lemon! The flavors are never consistent between the rolls even from the same pack. Sometimes you get one that has mostly strawberry with maybe one lemon and a couple of orange or mostly lemon with a couple of strawberry and no orange at all. I haven't come across a roll of mostly orange yet, but if I do, I'll let you know.
The candy is delicious. It's like a hard coated starburst or maybe even a super sized skittle in a way. Once you bite down into that soft chewy center, it's all over except for the chewy chewing of that sweet fruity flavor!
If you have a serious Mentos fruit habit, such as I, these 15 roll packs are a good way to get your fix. With 15 rolls, you could eat 2 rolls a day and last a whole week. I wouldn't recommend eating that many for long term health, because like any candy it's meant to be a treat and not your soul source of nutrition, but if you do, you'll still have plenty to make the week!
I've ordered 3 of these packs so far to feed my habit, and every time the candy has been fresh and not stale at all, so don't be afraid to buy the bigger pack because it's worth it!
These Mentos Chewy Mints taste somewhat similar to Excitemint Mint Chews from Aldi. However, they've listed 13 ingredients - that is 5 more than the latter. Perhaps it contributes to the slight taste variation.
Taste preference: One with less ingredients.
As far as calories are concerned, they're both the same.
If we compare prices, Mentos at Walmart cost about $3.14 for a pack of 6 rolls, while the same quantity of Excitemint Mint Chews from Aldi used to go for $1.99, but they no longer stock them in my area. Do the math😊.
All the same, whether they're soft and cushy or a little bit on the tougher side, they're a delight. For anyone who isn't a fan of chewing gum, Mentos are a great alternative, but watch out as they're addictive!
I'm addicted to the spearmint, they're excellent. But my last two deliveries were just a bag with a bunch of broken rolls and mentos all over the place. I can see it being a one-time thing, but the next order came the same way. They need to be packaged better. That, or someone is kicking the packages all the way to my house. I like to carry a roll in my purse. Can't do that when all I get is a bag of loose mentos.
Do the math and you'll quickly realize that you're saving yourself more than 5 dollars from buying it over the counter at your local store. I buy the mint flavor because I'm a smoker and I don't want my breath (or body) smelling like cigarettes around my co-workers or even when I'm out in public. Great breath freshener, leaves a cool, sweet aftertaste that lasts for quite awhile after chewing one.
Why don't they sell these in the stores? I've noticed that Amazon sells all different flavors of Mentos that you can't buy anywhere else. These have a terrific flavor and my whole family love them. I can't keep them around since my grandkids have discovered where I have my stash. When you suck them, there is a strong, zingy cinnamon flavor. When you bite right into one, it's a milder flavor (better for the kids) and still very tasty. Cinnamon lovers, these are for you!

My Mentos came in the mail within two days of ordering. The packaging was good. No complaints. I absolutely love Mentos strawberry, and I certainly do not share this at work. It's too good a commodity to share. I can't wait to order the green apple and grape.
I bought the 12 pack of cinnamon and I'm going to buy the fruit ones next. I can't really seem to find the cinnamon ones anywhere. I thought they were awesome. The only downside I have is that I ate so much of the cinnamon ones that my tongue is kind of raw. I ate like 5 rolls lol. I didn't want to read the reviews because if they were bad I wouldn't have bought them. I just read the reviews now and my mentos were not stale nor broken. Thank goodness
I have been ordering these Mentos from Amazon for months - always arrived with no problems - .Last time the entire box was destroyed, the replacement was fine and then today three of the rolls were destroyed. I do not understand what is different in the last month versus months of delivering.
Love that amazon carried these. By far our most liked mentos flavor.
My box was fresh and chewy. Green apple flavor is win. I just sit and devour a roll in a sitting. The box of the candy itself was sealed, and it was sealed in such a way I knew before I opened the clear plastic that the rolls of mentos couldn't but be soft and chewy.
I will be buying more of these in the future
