I gave up eating pork a few years ago and have been missing salami and pepperoni and the like for my sandwiches. I make my own chicken/turkey/beef breakfast sausage, but the turkey pepperoni and such are not the best. Decided to try this and it tastes great. I didn't think to measure it before cutting it up, but it is probably a good foot long and 2" or so in diameter. I pre-cut all of it and froze/vac sealed it. It should last me quite a while, if I keep it away from my husband that is (hah hah). I will definitely order it again.
Hickory Farms summer sausage is our favorite. Great with cheese and crackers. We take it on road trips for quick easy snack
Delicious, good size product that I couldn't find in the store during non holiday times. My kid had a Christmas in July party. This was helpful for part of the food provided.
Hickory Farms still has some of the best ssausage out there. Very consistent product, something you can count on from order to order.

What’s not to love about this trusted summer sausage?
Not greasy or too salty or too firm. A nice product and good price on the 26 oz summer sausage' JUST got another 3/30/19. 4/20 got 2 more, everyone else seems to love these too. A+

If you like sausagge to eat with cheese and crackers, you cannot beat Hickory Farms beef summer sausage.
A big expensive for a single bug sausage. Nice flavor though. Not overwhelmingly seasoned or salted.
