This is exactly the stand holder I needed. I use it for my iPhone XS Max. I’m not sure if a tablet can be used for it, but it doesn’t seem like it.
This stand holder is sturdy, doesn’t move a lot, and it has a tight grip holding my iPhone XS Max. I bought another from a different seller on eBay and it kept falling and broke in 2 weeks.

Performs exactly as I want it to and seems very durable. I was worried the arm would gradually slouch with the weight of the phone/tablet but it holds steady. The arm is actually very strong and can be hard to bend precisely, but I think that means it should last long.
Very sturdy, using this on a table to watch fitness videos while I'm eating.... Make sure use both hands as you bend it, close to the base and point were you want to bend it... The only thing I didn't like was it was offset for my charger, meaning I cannot charge my phone while in this device... Overall, great product.....
This cell phone/tablet stand is very easy to put together. Very easy to use and sturdy. It has a protective padding on the gripper portion of the product to protect against scratches on your device and whatever you clamp it to. It’s a really great product to help you be hands free when needed.
Very sturdy. Clipped it to my recliner and now I can read all the books on my tablet (9.6") without fearing sprain.

Using Tips:

I was uncertain of the quality and as to whether or not it would withstand clamping on a night stand, desk or headboard. We bought this as a birthday gift for my son who would watch videos on his phone while laying in bed ---- as he held the phone. I know this was uncomfortable and thought for the price why not give it a shot. It works wonderfully. Attaches to his headboard which is of a pretty thick consistency. He absolutely loves the ease of watching his Iphone videos and not having to hold the phone.
I use it for my iPhone X max and it supports it just fine. Good price and solid build.
It helps to have this thing and not need to use my hands to have it up where my eyes are, makes it easy and I can use my hands to multitask with other things, and I like that! :)
Works well-- Arm is a little stiff but holds my ipad well for live videos.
I was worried that this would be cheap and flimsy... it’s not!! Very sturdy for this price range!
